- Video on the production of a tool for removing and installing the inner rings of the bearing.
This crankshaft has apparently been modified. The second ring is usually loose.

Very respectful towards the materials you are working on. Neat idea!
On the newer models CRF's the larger 39.00mm inner bearing has a machined under surface that acts as a sort of double bearing within an bearing MO.
I also have a whole bunch of these puller for the KTM.s, the sizes you need are as follows, 40.40mm, 37.50mm, 31.50mm, thanks for sharing Paul.
Great idea for this tool saved you a lot of money for only about an hours work of labour the material price would be minimal
almost looked like the inner race was just "hand pressed in."
still was fun watching though!
good share!

Another good video Paul. I was thinking you need to meet or watch Celso Marscerenhas. The guy is amazing with the stuff he builds.
Works effortlessly . I like it 👍
New thing from each work. Thank you!
You are an artist
great job mate!..who dislike this and y??
CN you explain the reason for scribing the inside diameter and where and how many times please
So you heat the tool which puts heat into the ring and expands it so it slips straight off?
Yes
Very nice ,good job
Hello Paul X, can you do one for me for a NU205ECP?
couldnt you heat the race with a torch till it falls out?
Nice job.
Still neat simple and effective, so i still like it.👍
Beautiful tool. Does It work with extra tight interference?
Hi . The diameter in the tool must be accurate. Otherwise it will not work.
@@PaulXchannel thanks i'll try soon! I really like your idea.
Can you buy the replacement races and sprocket? Who sells them? HONDA dont list these parts in their parts diagram. And how are you going to index the sprocket timong wise? Nice tool, well made.
I do not know. It was brought by the customer.
Thanks.
Superb for removal but you should never heat a bearing with a naked flame. Heat the tool and let it warm the bearing. All bearings have a maximum temperature that should not be exceeded during installation or operation.
OK.
I try to heat only aluminum tool.
Nice, simple tools
Practical engineering
Great idea 💡👍👍👍👍
Thank you but this idea is not my.
@@PaulXchannel still thanks for improving our knowledge
😊👍
No force. Graet job
Hi Paul, what size did you make the bore in the tool? I am guessing you would want it to be 0.5 thou over bearing size when heated, so when boring you made it 2 thou under bearing size?
Yes
Sei un grande! Come sempre!
Love the tool, nice work !
Замечательно 👍😃
Great video again!!!!👌👍
nice work
Hello, I guess through feel you were able to feel that the race was seated all the way on crankshaft. If I was doing this I might have lightly tapped once with a diameter tool to check for seating of first ring. But such a nice tool you made and great idea too. May I ask what lubricant did you use for parting the aluminum ? Thank you

I like it good job !

Всегда забивали два тонких зубила с двух сторон кольца,и оно приподнималось.Дальше можно ухватить съёмником.
Ferramenta muito dez valeu
Maravilloso
Freaking Genius 👍👍👍
Perfect, Big Idea!
TOP!
MASTER
its a recommended KTM tool for removing the inner races however the reinstallation in this way will not guarantee the race is not overheated. great metalworking anyway.
Thanks
Sensacional 👏👏👏👏👏
Хорошо придумано.
🔥🔥🔥👍
It's genial :)-
is this bearing remover made from stainless steel
Aluminium
