I’m more than happy that I found your channel. I’m from Türkiye and we’ve been having a lot of earthquakes. your lessons help me get my mind off of things a little bit.
Just started learning Spanish one week ago and your teaching method is the best Muchas gracias you are the best teacher I have come across in this TH-cam streets.
Hey, not to nit pick, just in case it could be added (I looked colors up after POPIN) but... You haven't yet made a video where you go over colors! I found a few I was curious about, and just in case you were thinking of things to add in for the sake of it. Thanks again for making these!!
Good evening. Thank you for making learning Spanish an enjoyable journey. Could you please let us know why we should not say Ella usa (lleva) los zapatos verdes? Thank you very much.
Hello Dr. Evans. I just started to learn spanish out of theese videos but in some of them, when you explain something you say...you already know colors or you already know what "a" means in Spanish but I didnt learn it from this loop of videos. Can you please enlighten me which lessons were befor those ? muchisimas gracias!!
Hello Dr. Evans , could you please help me how to make a question of this answer please. Yo uso la camisa verdes. Which color of your dress that you are wearing? Thank you in advance.
Dear maestro, may I ask why there are no indefinite articles in the examples with plural nouns? After seeing "una camisa blanca" I definitely expected to see "unas zapatos verdes" 😅
"Ella usa zapatos verdes" - This simply means "She is wearing green shoes." It’s a more straightforward statement without the emphasis on quantity. The word "unos" adds the sense of "some" or "a pair of," which emphasizes that it's an unspecified number (usually two in the case of shoes, but it can imply a casual mention).
I'm from the Philippines and I understand the majority of Spanish terms. Ex. Cameseta mean t-shirt, Camisa means long sleeves shirt, pantalon means pants Usar here means use and etc.
Hello, do you have any suggestion where i can practice my spanish speaking skill and writing skill for free because i'm just a student and can't afford a spanish course lol
Sir Respect from India I wanted to know We are wearing black jacket Why u r not using usar verb here I am watching ur videos Yr teaching method is easy to understand Daily I watch yr video n practice it Thnk u so much Sir I watched ur video again n now my doubt is clear Thnk u
in the last two examples , she is wearing green shoes or black jackets, what happened to the "article" like "unas" zapatos or "los" chaquetas ... Could you elaborate on when we need to use articles and when should drop them ? thank you !
Could you please do a video on shopping in a supermarket or mall? I couldn't find any video in your collection for that type of retail shopping. Thank you for your amazing videos! Better than school.
I'm a bit confused. Wouldn't we use estar instead of soy in these examples since they are temporary condition? Please explain. Also, awesome tutorials!
"Do you have all the school material that you need?" translates to " Tienes todo los materiales escolares que necesitas?". Is that correct? Please help. Muchas Gracias!
Hello sir. I tried different translators for the sentence "Yo uso una camisa blanca" and it says "I wear a white shirt". When I typed the English Sentence, what appeared on the translation is "Usando" and the verb "Estoy". I am a little confused and an answer to my question will help me a lot. Muchas gracias!
"Estoy" is a conjugated form of "estar" which means "to be". It is used for temporary condition. "Usando" is the gerund form of "usar." So usando means "using" or "wearing." Yo estoy usando una camisa blanca. (I am wearing a white shirt.)
I guess he removed the verb "to be". I(Yo) use(uso/llevo) a(una) white(blanca) shirt(camisa). But you're right since wearing something is just temporary.
I have a question in the sentence " she is wearing green shoes " shouldn't we put "Unos" before "zapatos" ? and the same thing in the last sentence shouldn't we put "Unas" before chaquetas ?
both are fine but bit different nuances: "Ella usa unos zapatos verdes" - This means "She is wearing some green shoes." The word "unos" adds the sense of "some" or "a pair of," which emphasizes that it's an unspecified number (usually two in the case of shoes, but it can imply a casual mention). "Ella usa zapatos verdes" - This simply means "She is wearing green shoes." It’s a more straightforward statement without the emphasis on quantity.

yeah, i heard r instead of L so many times. 2:30 los calcetines. and more.. These kinds of substitutions are typical in specific regions of Spain such as some Caribbean Spanish dialects, where "l" and "r" at the end of syllables can sound very similar or even interchangeable.

"Ella usa zapatos verdes" is more about a general habit, while "Ella está usando zapatos verdes" focuses/emphasis on what she's doing right now. could be used accordingly

Elle porte des chaussures vertes - Ella usa zapatos verdes - She's wearing green shoes. nous portons des vestes noires - Llevamos chaquetas negras - we're wearing black jackets.
could u tell me why you use Yo uso una camisa blanca, but you didn't say Ella usa los zapaztos verde? You don't need to use los before zapatos??? and why would you have to use una camisa?? can't you just say Yo uso camisa blanca??? or better yet, can you say Yo uso la camisa blanca?? (not una??)

Violeta violet
Ya thats why even i came to the comments section to tell abt this...maybe the colours are next...he must have been mistaken

Will you help me to practice Spanish ?
Hello sir. I tried different translators for the sentence "Yo uso una camisa blanca" and it says "I wear a white shirt". I guess he removed the verb "to be". I(Yo) use(uso/llevo) a(una) white(blanca) shirt(camisa). But you're right since wearing something is just temporary.
So is he wrong.
I'm in starbucks now and made a sentence - Llevan pantalones azules.
Yes I thought pants was pleural too
loving it
So glad to hear that!
I have a question
in the sentence
" she is wearing green shoes "
shouldn't we put "Unos" before "zapatos" ?
and the same thing in the last sentence shouldn't we put "Unas"
before chaquetas ?
Muchas gracias professor ❤️

Need video for color because can't find it for make some examples
Hey there just wanted to ask can I say something like:
Llevamos unas chaquetas negras
Is that right?👆
Wonderful teaching sir !!!
But I wanted to ask why u wrote
Camisa blanca for white shirt
And not
Blanca camisa
The adjective follows the noun in spanish
thank you ❤️
Can we say "Ella usa unos zapatos verdes" 7:15
I'm wondering too

In Spain do they use USAR or LLEVAR?
Una pregunta. We are wearing black jackets.
No Por qué. NOSOTROS usamos/ llevamos chaquetas negras
If you provide pdf all the chapters it will be very helpfull
You still use present simple (Yo uso) and the meaning for me is continuous?
You just said it right !im in a coffee shop 😂😂yo uso una camisa Amarillo y zapatos negras.
hii but sir yo means I and soy means i am i am lil bit confused. help me out.
what verb do they use in Spain?
Esculpe professor, why don´t we say "Llevamos LAS chaquetas negras" but "Llevamos chaquetas negras"?
Dios Mio! Muy Bien. Gracias

La falda means, skirt but when you were prououncing falda you were not pronouncing the l , instead you were making an r sound, why?

You'll see 'l' sounding differently in a lot of other words . Languages be quirky
Yo uso camisa blanca 😁😁😁
I just noticed the word la camisa , cames from arabic, it has the same prononciation too
Agree Dr Evans, excellent Spanish tutor
If you say I’m wearing blue pants Yo uso pantalón azul or pantalones azules Thank you
She is wearing green shoes
Ella usa zapatos verdes.

Ella está usando zapatos verdes. As an ongoing action?
