I don’t know what they did to the intro to look so cool and sound so cool. Duel of Fates blasting and some of the best clips from episodes 1, 4-6. Chills man!
I'd just take the Full Screen edition box, put the 1995 Full Screen VHS tapes in the 2000 cardboard sleeves. And there you go, cool box art with the original theatrical versions.
so the blu ray editions are on dvd, I never would have known but I have the complete saga so I wont be getting those, but are the 1997 editions on dvd? and these are the same versions as 97 but with different art right?
The 1997 Special Editions are not available on DVD or Blu-Ray. The DVDs from 2004, 2006, and 2008 are the 2004 Special Editions that had changes to them from the 1997 versions, and the 2011 Blu-Rays and the 2013 DVD/BD combo pack releases are all the 2011 Special Editions that had changes in 2004 and 2011 from the 1997 releases. The only 1997 Special Editions out there that are identical to the 1997 theatrical Special Edition releases are the 1997 VHS and Laserdisc versions.

These videos.. especially the main four vids, are VERY helpful in explaining the different Star Wars releases.
also notice that the New Hope artwork has Leia from Empire not a NEW HOPE.
I didn't know you we're a Star Wars fan!
This set was released on LaserDisc in Japan
Just got this from the Goodwill near my college campus. Was really surprised to find it there. I wonder how rare this is?
On sites like eBay, there are tons. At physical stores, much harder to still find.
Nathan Butler Thanks Nate! I'm pretty sure that was just luck that I came across this VHS set at Goodwill then. LOL
@@ChronoRadio i noticed that your A Saga on Home Video book covers is in the style of the 2000 VHS trilogy, the one that you're showing on the video.

Nathan Butler thanks again, that's what I figured
Nathan Butler And the 2000 VHSes and VCD's that you talked about have the '97 SE's as well.
