3 Days Solo Wild Camping and Packrafting Trip

- Took some time off from Bushcraft and Camping. Or... I have been out a couple of times but without a camera during the summer. A completely different experience that reminded me of the old days. Im back now and the plan is to step things up. One new video every Saturday or every second Saturday. Also will take the show more on the road. Let's see how it goes.
Started out with cold weather then very warm. Didn't even need my mat in the hammock. Under the stars and warm summer breeze all night. Easy living.
Trying out the packraft thing because its a fantastic option to be able to hike trails and paddle waterways with everything you need on your back. This outing the canoe would have been more practical of course, but I needed to learn how to paddle the raft and all things around it. Had a lot of leakage in the right zipper (or some seam maybe) so sat in a puddle of water after each short distance. I applied zipper wax in the zipper but no difference. Next step is I plan to tape over with gerilla tape, zipper, seams and all. Will have to seal it up before going up north in colder weather. Don't need to unzip it anyway because I find it impossible to paddle without water getting on the roof. Left hand side with the velcro was no problem.

your back with some new toys , your set up is similar to mine , hammock and packraft gets you some great places here in Norway , still i love the swedish forest same but different , , just a thought ya might want to get a bug net and underquilt for the hammock , then you can use it sleeping in full time , better than the ground ....
I only use a hammock when it's really warm. . Like simplicity when hammocking is just one cloth with 2 straps. Then its lightweight. A hennesy with all the extras is not a lightweight system.. Bug net is on the sleeping bag hood. Thanks!
