To be honest, with the way universities work on Balkan soil, I would be like, cool, now I can take a break year with a reason, because, now, after one year of arc I'm thinking of it dropping out of it, taking a break until the next admissions period and admitting in another school. Get into arc was extremely easy, it's not even funny, I'm actually ashamed

I only paid in full for the first year and and get ~ 65% deducted for the rest of my undergraduate program. The trick was to do incredibly well (ideally, top 10% students) in the first semester, because the majority of fresman, merit, and dean scholarships are only available to international students before you reach a certain amount of credits. Nevertheless, you still need to provide them with your financial ability to pay the first year in full amount. I hope this helps.
this is so sad. i was expecting someone who's really stuck up and entitled but you're such a sweet, intelligent person and i genuinely think it was because of the financial factors, which sucks SO MUCH. i hope wherever you end up going you'll be happy and i'm sure you'll do great anyway
Sharuto I’m a poor college student as well who studies full time and I have to work like 20 hours a week to pay for everything. I was just saying that it’s not that hard to budget and save even just $20 a paycheck to pay for it in like 3 months 🤷♂️ especially if you’re in high school still and your parents could put something towards it.

@@tstoke7877 not everyone has parents that are willing to pay for things that are not a necessity. So I suppose you are just very lucky :) my parents would never give me money for anything besides food, college necessities, or a roof over my head.
Sharuto Then save $20 every other week from your paycheck. My parents didn’t buy me anything like that growing up either. I’m now paying for both mine and my wife’s tuition, rent, car payment, and everything else by myself (with federal financial aid). It just takes getting a job, budgeting, and saving to get where you want.
I hope this doesn't come across as mean but these are the kind of videos that I actually want to watch. I'm sick of all of the videos that only show someone getting accepted into 5 Ivy Leagues and 10 reach schools, I don't care about that that's not realistic, that's not me. This kind of content that we need to show that you don't have to get into Ivy Leagues and getting rejected isn't the end of the world, this is normalizing real life.
His stats weren’t the problem, it was the fact that he was an international student and that they couldn’t meet his financial aid needs. Don’t be stressed. You shouldn’t be scared for yourself because he didn’t get into any colleges. His situation before he applied is most likely VERY different than yours. :)
This is literally one of the most realistic college video on TH-cam and I’m here for it. Thank you for being so so honest!! Thank you so much for sharing your advice too!
TreeseDaVlogger I applied to 13 colleges, and all of them could be considered safety schools. Needless to say I got into 12 of them. Like the hardest of the schools I applied to was at like a 51% acceptance rate, and some people consider schools with a 50% acceptance rate safety schools. I had two safety schools that had a 90 something percent acceptance rate.
Academics is only a minute portion of what colleges look for, everyone applying has the necessary grades and scores to be admitted, but everyone’s life story is different,. Your story tells who you are as an individual, not your scores, colleges put a lot of emphasis on this.
Appealing often can work. I know people who REALLY just wanted to go to Cal Poly SLO but were too good on paper. They were rejected, but appealed. No idea what they wrote, but they got their acceptance letter.
Sophia M. It’s H A R D, mostly if you don’t meet the financial needs. I know a lot of people that get in but they’re the top notch from Costa Rica, the rich kids in rich schools. It’s not their fault, it’s the system.
seriously ( even though i never tried) it IS hard (from research). I’m canadian and our price range is so much more expensive and we have to write more tests than we should have (presumably late if you never knew it existed). I also have no idea what financial aid was until this video, basically all we need to apply with is our final grade 11 marks and our final grade 12 marks and you NEED 50 above to even get considered lol so i guess it’s easier. It’s easy if you’re smart as shit and you get accepted with a scholarship lol
Simple Bean Yeah, my parents and their friends would agree with sunshine smiles. If I don’t get accepted to at least UC Berkeley, I cant even imagine the disappointment in their faces. I will literally be disowned. The pressure is real, the love is real yet intimidating. Unless I run away from home and return with a million in my bank, I won’t be able to face my relatives lol. We’re not rich, kinda poor but yeah. Student debt or immense disappointment? Yeah, I’m gonna have to pick student debt. This is my reality lol. I’m also a girl in an Asian household so if I don’t do well academically, I will be reduced to a maid (which I kinda already half am) for my brother. Meaning I need to go to the nearest college and solely take care of the house (all the cleaning, cooking, and helping.) There will be no expectations of me, only to be a fast food worker. My parents will make me go to the best college possible even if it’s not affordable. I’ll try my best to pay off the debts. I love my family, but there’s this big internal struggle I have every day. But it’s okay, I’m strong and I am hard-working :).
snowflake But why can’t you just transfer when you’re able to afford it better? You don’t even have to go to a cc, I just think transferring is the smartest thing to do instead of going into massive debt.
Tall girl: you thinks your life is hard? Im a junior wearing size 13 Nike’s, men’s 13 Nike’s, beat that? Alex Smirnov: I got rejected from 21 colleges!
another tip. DO YOUR RESEARCH. i spent like 3 years looking up colleges and my dream college turned out to be a state school that was fairly easy to get into. don’t apply to schools just because they are “top notch”. and if you can’t get a 1500+ on your sat don’t stress. look into schools with lower scores. most careers won’t be super affected by what undergrad you go too. for example any job in healthcare (ie doctor, nurse, dentist...) undergrad doesn’t have that big of an affect. look at your scores and only look at schools that your scores work for. there are SO many different colleges in the US that i guarantee you’ll find one that works for you. it doesn’t have to be a super well known school if none of them work for you. also find ways to visit. visiting helped me eliminate so many schools. (some were too big, some had winter 9 months of the year) you get a decent feel for schools when you walk on the campus. when i visited my school i know immediately that it’s where i wanted to go. if your dream school is an ivy, go for it. but if it not, it’s ok. my brothers at an ivy and it’s his literal dream but i’m at a big state school and it’s my dream. we are both where we need to be for college even tho they are so different. we want/ need different things from college.
Doctors or the medicine major in the US is pretty hard for internationals, isn’t? I’ve heard it’s something like 10 years and taken on 2 shots (pre medicine then medicine), unlike the rest of the world. Is that true?
This is so accurate. I went to a middle of the road state school where I was top 1% of students that enrolled. I could've gone to better schools but chose the school that I fell in love with when I visited. I had the best 4 years of my life, while maintaining my academics, and ended up with a job next to people from Harvard, Tufts, Cornell, etc. I strongly recommend picking your school based on how well you like the campus, academics, student Life, and just atmosphere as a whole. Nothing against the top schools btw. If that's the school you love when you visit then 100% go there if you can. For me, my parents forced me to visit a school I had no intention of going to, on a day where it was -20°F and an absolute blizzard out, and I left that day knowing that's where I wanted to go. I had visited around 10+ other schools by then and some were really nice, but this was the only one where i could actually picture myself on campus going to class. And in case you couldn't tell by my passion towards choosing a college, I haven't had any regrets with that decision :)
YES!!! Visiting schools is EXTREMELY important!!! I took off three schools from my list and added one (I only visited around 6) because they don't have what I want. And as for the one school, it's because I wasn't sure about it but it's a major school in my state and now it's my first choice.
@@stacy7731 With a 4.0 GPA and a 1500 SAT? Sure, they all were competitive but all 19 universities rejected him. It's weird because in other videos where the person isn't an international student, they at least get 1-3 acceptances.
I am guessing because your stats are so good that it has to do with the financial factor. You are an interesting person. You’ll do great in whatever you do.
I wanted to be an international student in the US but it’s so hard, first you need to have enough money to pay for college and also super good grades and do test after test, and if you get accepted then (in my case) apply for a student visa and if they reject your visa application everything goes to shit.
I feel sad you got 1500+ on SAT you got 110+ on TOEFL you got a 4.0 GPA and etc and they still didn't accept you? smh. I would die to get what you got. Know that you are such an amazing student!
One thing to note for international students: Harvard, Princeton, Yale, MIT and Amherst are need blind for internationals. If you feel like your financial aid requirement will be a problem, you can apply to them without asking for it and then ask for it once you get in too (kind of a proof for them about their own statement)
youshallnot pass Being need blind means that the college won't factor in your aid requirement while deciding on your application--simply meaning that they see your aid requirement only after admitting you. For internationals, only five colleges are officially need blind as of now. I honestly did not believe it completely, until I got into a need blind one (without aid in my case, since I didn't apply for it) and was told that I could apply for aid at any point of time. Applying for aid at these colleges won't be a demerit, and you could ask for aid even after you get in. However, in case you choose to do the latter, you will have to wait for some time before you get to hear from your college about your aid status (which might be a little risky).
that is true, but keep in mind that all US colleges have a 10-ish percent quota for international students, so it is still A LOT harder to get in even if you're not asking for aid.
Arushi S Arushi S OFC, along with the fact that these colleges themselves are extremely tough to get into (and 10% for internationals means much lesser for a specific country). But this is just something applicants should be aware of, specifically those in need of huge amounts of aid.
Their stats are getting juiced like crazy now though. Average ACT is a 27 with 75th percentile at 32. That joke may have been true years ago, but they have a pretty fucking smart upper half of their classes.
I'm low middle class and I'm so stressed with the college process and my family can't really afford the universities that I would like to attend hhh. I hope you achieve in life btw, its sad that they rejected you :(
Your thoughts on financial aid are true from what I’ve seen. I’m an international student going to an Ivy and I got almost full financial aid and I am part of the lucky ones. I will say however, that if you KNOW that your parents can’t pay for it, apply, because chances are without it, you won’t be able to go. I know you’ll do well at Kenyon!
Möhtərəm Qasımova Dude, get it out of your head that stats matter. Past a certain cut off point, it’s all useless. You need to be passionate about your subject and show that passion in stuff like extra curriculars, community work, internships etc. Past like 1500 and 3.7 - 3.8 (unweighted), anything higher won’t matter much. Look past the books.
The only five colleges that claim to be need-blind for international students are Harvard, Princeton, Yale, MIT, and Amherst. Most top colleges I can think of except for WashU claim to be need-blind for domestic students. The reason why I say “claim to be” rather than “are” is because I am very skeptical of them being truly “need-blind” because I applied to college this past year using the Common Application; the Common Application has you list your income range, and all the elite colleges I applied to asked explicitly WHETHER I WAS applying for financial aid as a domestic student (even though I was not). If you look at the income range for anyone of the top colleges, the majority of students are rich, there is a small but decently-sized group of students who are low-income or lower middle-class, and very few students are upper middle-class.
When we've looked at the financial demographics of many elite schools we noticed that there are a good chunk of students from the highest earning category, then there was a gap between the next level or two, and the lowest. It said to us that if you can pay straight up for college, you've got your pick. If you are in need, you'll be ok. But if you're in between, you're SOL. There's won't be enough financial aid offered if any, and you can't pay the difference. Someone has to rethink the system. Great video, congrats, and good luck.
I am also an international student..this is literally the most honest and genuine college reaction video that I saw on TH-cam. But with the SAT/TOEFL/GPA you have got, it is just shocking to see these rejections.
my good sir you applied to extremely selective schools as an international student and your safety was tulane. i applaud you because you have a level of confidence in yourself that i can only dream of achieving. also you took the rejections like a champ and you're so emotionally genuine you're awesome
also im so glad you chose kenyon! kenyon was one of my top choices but i couldn't afford it because i got like no financial aid :( i hope you enjoy it there
Having received rejection letters from all of the UCs, the UW, and Loyola Marymount (my safety), I feel your disappointment soooo deeply. I had a 3.8 unweighted and a 28 on the ACT, but I came from a small, rural, and Christian school that prioritized sports over academics; the "honors" and "ap" classes werent officially registered as such. It was hard to find opportunities. My senior year I had a 3.8 with 10 courses, three being online from BYU. Took and passed two AP exams as well. I was so crushed. For anyone who has gone through the same thing or are heavily anticipating your verdicts over this next semester, please know that NO MATTER what, you've worked hard. That will be recognized at some point in your life. Transferring is actually fairly easier once you've completed junior college or university classes for a couple years, so there is another chance for these schools. I promise it gets better!
Oh dear finally someone I can really relate to. Finding ANY information on international non-Indian, Australian or British student is actually the most difficult thing of all. I am really grateful that you've started this channel. Wish you luck 🦁🦁
Goes to show how the amazing and truly hardworking aren’t appreciated. Really love your attitude and way of doing videos. Thanks for the honesty. Goodluck on your journey !
Yes, it does put a sting on it for a good while. But always remember that most of his school of choices were very competitive at selecting quality worth candidates. Now it's not saying that your hard work doesn't mean anything, but remember that thousands of other students are also trying to get in. This puts the admissions counselors in a chance situation. Select out of other thousands of applicants which one is the most suitable for them.
Dang I feel your pain... I got rejected from most of my colleges too. After I thought I was done with college decisions, then these acceptance videos started to roll out. It was depressing. Thank you for making this video and your story! I love how much confidence you showed. It really helps to know someone out there went through the same thing.
I have a gut feeling that you could increase your creditibility and chances by attending an American community college in the state where your dream university lies. If the financial aid burden decreases, or your expected family contribution EFC, then universities may think about admitting you, especially when similar courses may exist at certain CC'S within a certain region. For example California and Hawaii are under a different education council than those run by the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana). Secondly, CUT WORDS. Wordiness is the biggest crime when designing your essay. Read it 10 times. While I like inductive essays, most professors will look for an essay's thesis within the first 2 paragraphs. While inductive essays are definitely proper, readers may not know your thesis is in the last paragraph. Also, write formally, intending on reaching an audience of professionals. Don't brag. Persuade. The only problem with this suggestion is that you might need to extend for a visa extension if you follow my advice. However, I don't know since I've never been an international student. P.S. you stated that you had to take the English proficiency exam? To me, it sounds like English is your native language. You have definitely fooled me.
@@angelinebena9675 Similarly how Americans wish they could go to a British school, I think there probably are some British who wish to attend am American school. However, you as well I know, international students pay a grip. I'm not sure how British people think regarding American tuition compared to national tuition. However, as an American, GBP to USD tuition costs are huge!

@@toopie6584 best solution lol xD But seriously, if anyone here is going to try that, be careful, and a tip, some sugar daddy's/mommy's are going to agree for paying you for the first date, even if the "relationship" don't work out for more than just that date, you just need to ask for it before of arranging the date, if they say no, go for someone else. Some sugar babies make money of just that. I'm not not a sugar baby or mommy, but I have friends who are, and you can ask for tips on the internet. Just please be careful.
@@solomonriccio5270 that's why you do your research, get a degree that actually pays and is worth something and seek financial advice on how to set up your life to pay off student loans as soon as possible. Agreeing with some comments I saw below, don’t be swayed by “top notch” schools, since drive ultimately comes down to the person. I go to a fairly average state university & being premed, I was able to secure a research position within a prominent cancer institution & I just published my first project as first author all before I start my sophomore year of college. This should not be seen as a flex whatsoever but to demonstrate that seeking opportunities on ur own & putting hard work can go a long way. Best of luck! :)

Thanks a lot really! I'm an international student and middle-income as well. I'm thinking about applying for FAs recently... Your video is REALLY HELPFUL!
well don't think if you're low income you'll have better chances getting accepted at these universities, especially the smaller ones, because of fin aid. sometimes colleges just can't afford to invest so much in ppl, it's not always about rankings
I just got rejected by my dream uni recently. I know how you feel and i know that it hurts deeply but thanks for making this video! You made me feel less lonely.
Hey! This was a great video, thank you for this realistic and relatable content. I was also rejected by all the Ivies I applied to, and waitlisted by Chicago and Williams!! Fun stuff. (I ended up at Amherst, though, which has been great.) I thought it was really important to point out that there are five US colleges that ARE need-blind (for financial aid) for international students- Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, and Amherst. So please feel free to apply for financial aid when applying to these schools, because it will not affect their decision!!! Also, just in general, going to a school with an extremely fat endowment per student has been the most financially beneficial decision in my life so far. Amherst has countless research grants, fellowships, and internship opportunities available, and I have used those resources to fully fund trips to London, Washington DC, Kyoto, and Cape Town. I never would have been able to do this if I was financially burdened by student loans. I think it's really important for low and middle-income students to consider the endowments of the schools they are applying to because it will directly translate to how much those schools will accommodate your financial needs.
Your international which means you are literally brought in to make bank for these colleges and then want to make sure you will absolutely be able to pay. It's the money bro trust.
Don't think I agree with a few of your tips.. I'm an international student who goes to a regular school without any AP/IB and got a 33 on my ACT and got into quite a few American schools: 1. UC Berkeley 2. Syracuse with Presidential scholarship 3. Boston College 4. Northeastern 5. U Rochester with Presidential scholarship 6. U Miami with Presidential scholarship 7. UC Davis And I also got waitlisted at Brown and Columbia. Honestly, it's all about how you sell yourself - and expect around 3-5% lower admissions rate if you're an international student :(
Remember his major point is that financial need affects a lot the chances of international students. If you applied to UC Berkeley, it means you don’t need any financial aid, so it’s a completely different case. Anyway, you got accepted by amazing schools, congratulations! :D
Hope you're not planning on drinking underage there. The police have gotten notoriously hard on it recently. Every single person I know underage now has 1-2 drinking misdemeanors.
I applied to 8 universities, 6 are very selective (26%-8%) and the rest are safety schools (50%-70%) and im so anxious i feel like im gonna get rejected from them
i'm wishing all the best for you and your future journeys. i honestly can't believe all these colleges rejected such an intelligent student, but it's their loss. rooting for you and what you where you will be going later in life!
I'm from France and I had great results at the end of high school, but still managed to be rejected from every university I had applied to (very good French schools but also safety schools). After a year of doing something I didn't like in the French equivalent of community college, I got into the university of Montreal, in Canada. It was two years ago, so it's been two years that I live in Montreal but it still feels surreal. Congratulations and I'm sure you'll love the university you picked (I didn't quite catch the name, sorry) !
This video cheered me up in a weird way Thank you so much, just got denied from U of I which is in the state my current GF lives in was hoping we wouldn't have to deal with an as big distance but got denied. The worse thing is they didnt even do a email or letter just a student portal "application status" In other words all I got was one word " Denied" after waiting for like 3 months. Luckily still have one college in Illinois and go accepted by all the big universities in my state so I still have colleges I can go do but Illinois would be preferred hopeful everything goes well for you. what are your stats? I'm an international student as well and I didn't know the US gpa is based on 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. in my country students don't care about grades until the senior year. my GPA is like 3.0 and I don't even know if it's worth trying..
@@LIGHT-tq5un hey. So my GPA was an 18/20 in my country and when I did equivalency to US GPA it was a 4.0 UW. The thing is im terrible at standardized testing so my SAT was a 1270. When you apply as an international they take all of your secondary school grades; the process is a bit different because all school systems are different. Ill say go for it even if your GPA isn’t that great, there are more factors than just grades. If you can, try to get a high score on the SAT to boost your application and a lot of extracurriculars (which I lacked too bc I didn’t know they mattered in US application process) and ofc the essay. Also don’t just apply to top 20 schools, there are a lot of great public schools that are still good and where you may get scholarships. There are a lot of opportunities so don’t be discouraged bc of people with super high stats, you can do it!
I relate to this on a spiritual level. I applied to a bunch of prestigious schools thinking I had a good chance after hearing a bunch of people telling me how smart I was, of course for a public school with low resources my average IQ seemed pretty high lol. So me being full of myself applied to like 1 safety school and that's where I started this fall..yikes

Nevertheless, you still need to provide them with your financial ability to pay the first year in full amount. I hope this helps.

Sophia M. It’s H A R D, mostly if you don’t meet the financial needs. I know a lot of people that get in but they’re the top notch from Costa Rica, the rich kids in rich schools. It’s not their fault, it’s the system.
Very hard. We get the last spots and pay x10 tuition. Luckily FIU gave me a scholarship, but sure it has international in its name.
It’s because international students mostly compete with each other. And the majority of them are smart.
seriously ( even though i never tried) it IS hard (from research).
It’s easy if you’re smart as shit and you get accepted with a scholarship lol
my question is...
why couldn’t they just accept you and deny your financial aid?
like at least give you the chance to figure out the money part.
sunshine smiles debt is no joke. They did him a favor if finances were the issue, but he’s clearly smart I don’t understand.
Simple Bean ofc but some people might take the chance and ask family members for help or idk
But it’s okay, I’m strong and I am hard-working :).

another tip.
And in case you couldn't tell by my passion towards choosing a college, I haven't had any regrets with that decision :)
.
YES!!! Visiting schools is EXTREMELY important!!! I took off three schools from my list and added one (I only visited around 6) because they don't have what I want. And as for the one school, it's because I wasn't sure about it but it's a major school in my state and now it's my first choice.

One thing to note for international students: Harvard, Princeton, Yale, MIT and Amherst are need blind for internationals. If you feel like your financial aid requirement will be a problem, you can apply to them without asking for it and then ask for it once you get in too (kind of a proof for them about their own statement)
Vaibhav Sharma
Could you elaborate on this? Also what does need blind mean?
What if after I applied for the aid I get rejected?
youshallnot pass Being need blind means that the college won't factor in your aid requirement while deciding on your application--simply meaning that they see your aid requirement only after admitting you.
But this is just something applicants should be aware of, specifically those in need of huge amounts of aid.

likhith borela yeah, I think Harvard, Princeton Yale, Amherst, and a couple of others are
likhith borela check out their websites. Some really good schools are need blind for domestic students, not for international. Be aware of that
Most of these schools are need-blind for American students but most schools are need-based for international students
I know Amherst and Boston college are.

As a rising senior, thank you. This was really insightful and I learned a lot of important information. Perspective is everything.
However, I don't know since I've never been an international student.

well don't think if you're low income you'll have better chances getting accepted at these universities, especially the smaller ones, because of fin aid. sometimes colleges just can't afford to invest so much in ppl, it's not always about rankings
I'm an international student who goes to a regular school without any AP/IB and got a 33 on my ACT and got into quite a few American schools:
1. UC Berkeley
2. Syracuse with Presidential scholarship
3. Boston College
4. Northeastern
5. U Rochester with Presidential scholarship
6. U Miami with Presidential scholarship
7. UC Davis
And I also got waitlisted at Brown and Columbia.
My dream school is The University of Alabama so to hear that you didn’t get rejected from them made me happy 😂
zyiiree Same!!! That’s my dream school!! I want to go there so baddd
Hannah Friedly samee! I’d probably cry if I got rejected
I heard it’s pretty easy to get to that school!?Good luck!
kims uwus thanks!! ❤️ I have one year before I go to college so let’s hope they accept me lol😂
Hope you're not planning on drinking underage there. The police have gotten notoriously hard on it recently. Every single person I know underage now has 1-2 drinking misdemeanors.
I applied to 8 universities, 6 are very selective (26%-8%) and the rest are safety schools (50%-70%) and im so anxious i feel like im gonna get rejected from them
Those acceptance rates are not for international students
This is the best college reaction video ever. As a gravely ambitious international student applying for 2021 this is what I needed to see.❤️🙏🏼
i'm wishing all the best for you and your future journeys. i honestly can't believe all these colleges rejected such an intelligent student, but it's their loss. rooting for you and what you where you will be going later in life!
I would cry like a baby if I filmed something like this
I'm from France and I had great results at the end of high school, but still managed to be rejected from every university I had applied to (very good French schools but also safety schools).
Bro, as an international student I am quaking
This video cheered me up in a weird way Thank you so much, just got denied from U of I which is in the state my current GF lives in was hoping we wouldn't have to deal with an as big distance but got denied. The worse thing is they didnt even do a email or letter just a student portal "application status" In other words all I got was one word " Denied" after waiting for like 3 months. Luckily still have one college in Illinois and go accepted by all the big universities in my state so I still have colleges I can go do but Illinois would be preferred hopeful everything goes well for you. Thank you so much cant really express how this has helped me.
5:50 That’s literally me 🤣
But I’m sending you hugggs 🖤 It helps so much to see that everyone gets rejected even when they are amazing 🙃 Looooove so much! 🥰
Love this realistic video, but as a student of The University of Alabama it is not at all what people make it out to be. Yes, Alabama as a state is the butt of jokes, but the school has been more than amazing to me and has nationally ranked programs. You'll do great things in life I just know it!
I knew u were an international student before u started... Its just mad luck. You deserved better :(
I had a 1500 sat and 4.3 gpa and diverse committed extracurriculars and got rejected from all but my 1 super safety school which was a real blow to my confidence and honestly confusing after working so hard so I’m glad I’m not alone in that aspect but now I’m really unhappy at my college :/
Is that all you had did you do any ecs
@@inspiregaia i was in theater (tech and performance), varsity softball, national honors society, president of an on campus club, on the hip hop dance team for several years, also placed in several dance competitions, published a book, had several other volunteer hours, was a pitching coach & assistant coach for junior girls softball, also led a campus wide energy saving initiative… piano for 3 years… I can’t remember if there was anything but uh yeah
@@kowabungakellythat is top student if that isn’t enough for even the best college, then what is?
@@makayla.luvsyouu I have no clue & I’m still trying to figure that out :/ it’s incredibly frustrating. I know my essays were solid too because my parents literally hired an admissions coach to read and edit all of my responses 😵💫
@@kowabungakelly what college are u in now?
I can't imagine you can still be tough because of all these rejections. You're a very strong man. Thank you for giving your best. 👍😭😭😭
heyy. i just applied to college this year and it was so rough. coming across this video as an international student is so sad. you're stats are so impressive. I definitely was not near there and I didn't even actually know I was coming to the US for college until last year but this made me feel better. I got rejected from UM bc of financial need too and its so frustrating bc they literally said on my my letter if funds became available they will offer me admissions. I'm going to FIU which is not a prestigious school and I was just so disappointed in myself but I guess applying for financial aid was shit.
what are your stats?
And also colleges love upwards grades trend so if you can boost your GPA this last year it will look good on your application.
