A lot of loopstation stuff is more about live music production over beatbox these days. Some loopers have said they don’t even learn to beatbox, but participate because these are the biggest loopstation competitions. They should probably open the rules up to allow other instruments, since the only voice rule is kind of a silly restriction at this point.
@@Helldog6 probably phrased it poorly since I’m not sure about anyone specifically in GBB, but PSn mentioned this before about trying to enter, though he hasn’t been in yet, he was on the cusp this year. But many in the competition that don’t focus much on beatboxing, and even among those that can, many don’t use it so much.
Only voice rule is the thing that makes this competition unique. Allowing instruments wouldn't fit in this event. It might be interesting, but I prefer it to be outside the beatbox loopstation competition.
@@arinix3618 I'd also be up for splitting the categories to have a pure vocal looping competition with restricted effects. But currently the effects on the MK2 and secondary devices can be so powerful, that the voice is basically acting just as a trigger for the device to play some melody, and the underlying sound means very little. So already the rounds have a lot of elements that have nothing to do with vocal technique, so why not allow loopers to trigger them with keyboard, guitars, or whatever if they prefer? People would still use their voice for some things because its so flexible and because people like the human element. But when there's so much modification to some sounds being used, requiring voice be the only kind of trigger because its a "beatbox" competition seems totally arbitrary at this point.
I agree he should make music for masses, he is a producer :-) but he also likes to compete :-D at the moment he is serving his military for 2 years and than he will come back.
Im wondering what your thoughts would be for bizkits elimination Hope you check it out Christheodian is another one i would love to hesr your thoughts on
Swissbeatbox doesn't issue takedowns, but they claim 100% of revenue on their GBB videos. Some channels just decide to keep doing reactions for the views, but also notice a lot of the bigger non-beatboxer channels have just stopped reacting to beatboxing entirely. I've seen a few other channels also using overlays.

What looper never learned how to beatbox that's been in this competition?
