I am a huge fan of 1911’s..... I am trying a New Springfield 1911 soon and a Wilson Combat on our Channel. Congratulations on your new 1911. 🥳😎👊👍🇺🇸. Beretta Sr.
I might have to start polishing up the sides on my Pro Raptor. The contrast with the bead blast looks real nice. I EDC my Raptor but I kind of wish I got the full size one now.
BIG DUMB DOG that would be awesome. Mine is .45 but I absolutely love it. I got the Kimber to possibly carry in the winter..did your Pro Carry need a break in period?
@@RepentorPerish77 I shot about 400 through it with some feeding issues. I polished the feed ramp of the frame, smoothed out the sharp edge of the barrel and polished the breech face and tuned the extractor. After that, she has been running flawlessly for 100's of rounds.
@@RepentorPerish77 Look up how to tune a 1911 extractor. Wish I would have known how to do that sooner. I think that was the main issue with mine, but polishing the breech face and feed ramp, along with slightly "slightly" taking the sharp edge down where the barrel feed ramp meets the chamber might have also helped. I've had zero issues since.
only extra stuff kimber needs to put in the box with their guns is a second damn magazine like 90% of other gun manufacturers. especially when you're talking over $1,000 1911s.

Very nice 👍 kimber needs to give 3 mags minimum for the price.

Just picked up the pro model of this gun. It’s nice but I still like my Springfield TRP more
I have the Pro Raptor too, funny you said that cause I've been looking at a Springfield 10mm TRP with the RMR.

BIG DUMB DOG yeah I had some feeding issues through the first 110 rounds but figured it just needed to be broken in. 3 FTFs
