I might like to see a High endurance test like you've done with several other lights. Along the way to complete battery depletion, periodically test and see if you can do Turbo outputs.
Your wife is a lucky lady, and you are a gentleman for allowing her to have something to enhance her safety. Respect to you, and thank you for another great review. The only shame is you didn't go through the half and full lockout features, which help make this an ideal edc light. Also, the limited battery drain, which means you could keep it in your pocket for a year and it would still be ready to help protect you. Still a great review as always, thank you.
I mentioned the half/full lockout, but first field test is all about beam shots and performance. I had to cut a full segment already and most people know about that from the Nitecore web site, so I did not do a full demo. I am thinking of a battery endurance test (High output) and may have more latitude to include a full demo of that feature. Thank you.
There are advantages and disadvantages to a built in battery. Its not even worth debating. For an EDC light this has proven in my experience to be a great EDC light. For an EDC light that I am not taking on Search and Rescue operations as a primary, tactical operations etc but instead using it for walking the dog, checking out a sound in the back yard, putting light on a screw I need to tighten etc, its fantastic, easily carried (big plus for a EDC light). A good value that I believe will provide years of reliable service.
@@L5-SAR great review mate. I love Nitecore but at times I think they push too hard to win candela and lumen battle. Sounds great on a spec sheet but not so much in real life. Plus that horrible green tint on my MH12 Pro at the lower levels is very hard to get used to.
It's a problem with the entire industry and you stated it so perfectly - too many people are just buying spec sheets. Did you check out the MH25 Pro? Seems a little better on the tint front and I have a comparison with the 12 Pro. Thanks!
I show step downs in the video for both the Turbo modes. I have not yet run the battery below 50% . Have to get it back from 'you know who' to arrange that tests. Thank you.
Time is always the enemy. Thank you again for another great review, always enjoy them.
And thanks for your insightful commentary. I think all viewers trying to make a buying decision will appreciate it.

Strong in the way of the field test you are, my young Padawan :)
Another entertaining and informative review, many thanks. Will this run on high for long periods without stepping down do you know?
Check out the battery endurance test that was recently uploaded on the channel. Thank you.
Pretty cool that your wife is in on owning a cool light like that! My wife is like “your the light guy not me” 😂

without watching i bet the turbo drop will be dramatic.
And, your bet is correct, but that's why I do field testing. Everyone can see what 'dramatic' is and then decide for themselves. Thanks.

@@L5-SAR realistically when does the light step down from turbo? Can you run turbo below 50% battery?
Thanks for the insightful review!
