I just finished breaking in my 2022 prox xp4 ultimate. Sounds like you have your head on straight and are preparing yourself for a lot of fun. Good luck on the channel and have a blast!
very good posting on how to properly break in your razor. I have watched some other TH-cam videos of youngsters unloading these from their trailer from the dealer and going full blast down the road with them. Completely ruined their machine. I drove to Southern California on Saturday and purchased a two seat pro XP ultimate, got a really good deal from my friend who is a sales manager. Save me $6000 so it was worth the trip even though it's a long way there and back from Phoenix. I am breaking mine in right now getting ready to go up to Heber for the fire in the sky fun run
Great vid, we just moved to the desert and ordered a 22' RZR Pro XP Sport ghost grey, so ill be tracking how yours is doing. Thanks for the break in tips for the new machine as well! Take care!
Hey thanks Hondo Shaver, wishing you well and congrats on the new ride, that's so exciting! Glad the vid helped a bit, if you have any tips please reach out to me and I can help to spread the word! Ride safe and often!
just got a polaris RZR 1000 Trail S model today so this is very helpful thanks man, will for sure keep these kinds of things when i am driving the unit for the next while
Haha I hear you Critical Thinking, hope you get it home safe! Luckily that ride will be breaking in your belt so it won't be wasted! Ride safe, ride often!
Breaking in mine still, about 8hrs In I started getting into boost. So long as you are gradual, and oil is full, turbo and motor should remain strong. Air filter too, have to keep the thing like new driving these offroad
That is a great point james PrO. Most recommend cleaning the air filter every ride. Thank you. Just got up to 22 hours on my own and started doing some steep hills. Good luck with your break in, I hope everything turns out!
I have a 2020 rzr xp turbo and put 2850 miles on my stock belt people kept telling me I was babying it but I broke it in the way you said I still have my stock belt as an extra it’s still decent
Hi H_Vega_701, thanks for sharing! 2850 is actually a lot of miles on a single belt, and for it to still be usable is great to hear! I have heard stories of people not breaking them in and they only go around 200 miles! I definitely think it is a good idea to keep a second belt. Good luck to you!

Did your Pro Xp4 have the recall fixed? Fuel pump recall on these models
So no full throttle for the first 2 years. 🙄
Exactly. Some people don't ride 5 hours in a month.. 😅 Under 5000 rpm also?? 🤷
