Some fun facts about Kenshi Yonezu, he was diagnosed with autism at a young age. Kenshi is very multitalented, he’s not just a singer, but he’s also a songwriter, illustrator, dancer, and producer, he writes and composes all of his songs. Before officially debuting as a singer under his real name, Kenshi went under the stage name of Hachi, some of his work under this stage name are Vocaliad and Hatsune Miku. Kenshi is definitely one of them rare artists worth checking out, one of his most viewed song is called Lemon. A little backstory to “Lemon”, it’s the theme song for the Japanese TV drama, Unnatural (a story that deals with death). Kenshi wrote this song while during on a tour, by the time he was done with the 1st chorus, Kenshi’s grandpa passed away. The news of his grandpa took a toll on him, which took him a long time to continue writing the song, but he managed to finish the song with the thought of his grandpa in mind.
This explains a lot of his old blog posts. There’s an archive of his old entries translated into English and when reading them, the topics and his writing style were eccentric.
Fyi, the other guy in this music video is Daiki Tsuneta who was also co-produced this song. He also played the Guitar and Bass for this song i believe. And He's the Guitarist & main composer of King Gnu!! Yes, King Gnu from JJK's Shibuya Arc opening :)
The music video for this really reminds me of the music video for Oral Cigarette's "Kyouran Hey Kids!!". Also I think the construction yard area was used in MAN WITH A MISSION's music video for "Raise Your Flag". Two also awesome songs.
Did you know that the other guy in the gym is Daiki Tsuneta who is in the band King Gnu that made SPECIALZ? Just a little fun fact :) Edit: I found out that he even was singing in that song lol, and did a live performance with Kenshi. Also the theme is really cool, that the guy always sees the better man and tries to be like him and it turns out it's just his imagination.
Yeah it's really rare nowadays where the singer actually doing some physical stuff in their music video. Not most but every single one of them just a man acting cool walking slowly singing with exp clothes and that's it. Thanks to this song i went back jogging early in the morning.
Kenshi Yonezu used to go by Hachi and he produced several vocaloid songs. Since then he's taken on his own solo projects. Dude you should check out the live version of this song, it's incredibly hype!
That is indeed Kenshi Yonezu, the singer, and the other guy in blue is Daiki Tsuneta from King Gnu. This song has a live version, please watch it too because it's also sooo good -> th-cam.com/video/HSNWJbkIsmo/w-d-xo.html :)
Just a quick bit of info that will help you in the future. Almost all anime intros have a full length song as well but they are always cut down to 90 seconds for the opening theme of the shows.
You should also check out the live version of this song because it's insane just how good it is performed live. I would dare to say it's better then any other version.
Hahahahahahahah... ah John, I like your reactions so much.😁 I agree with you, that MV is god tier. Chaotic and hilarious... I think it matches so well with Chainsaw man vibes. Bc you asked, Yes, that guy is Kenshi Yonezu, the singer. He is a great musician. So talented. I recommend you to check more music by Kenshi Yonezu: "Lemon" "Peace Sign" Greetings from Argentina🇦🇷🤗😊
I saw the bit where he sings befpre.. Except the guy in the red car was replaced by a character from The Amazing Digital Circus, so I thought he made a music video for that show using the characters, lol. Figures someone edited it or they also did that version because the show got popular? Idk

There's a lotta stuff that comprises Autism-core, but I feel like KICK BACK is Autism-core fully realized, operating at peak efficiency
