Baskin Robbins always finds out..
Basking Robbins don't play.
That was probably my favorite line in the whole movie. Next to the flashback parts.
This movie surprised a lot of people, in comparison to the World threats in other films, its smaller, more personal and hella funny. It doesn't always have to be about the World ending.
Preach. I don't think anyone saw it coming, both the movie itself and how good it is
If Hydra had shrinking tec, it would literally be the end of the world. Jmo.
Agreed. This is why Ant Man is one of my favorite MCU movies. Plus Paul Rudd is so effing brilliant as Scott Lang. :-D
Yep. First I was sceptical when I saw the trailers but when I have seen the movie I loved it so much!!
Find someone who looks at you like Duaffy looks at ants
It's not on anybodie's car Scott falls on; the driver is Garret Morris, the first live-action Ant Man in a comedy skit for Saturday Night Live!
How did You notice this?
This is an example of why the MCU succeeds so brilliantly.
Great writing, perfect casting, and a movie that's not so much as a "superhero" film as it is a heist flick that happens to have superheroes in it.
This movie was so much better than *anybody* expected.
A friend of mine got driven a little crazy by Michael Pena's character, because he knows about six guys just like that guy. :)
Best of all, you can tell everybody had a blast making this movie -- even a veteran dramatic actor like Michael Douglas.
Yes that's Peggy and howard lol....steve was still frozen at the time
Fun fact about Scott's daughter: Young Avengers.
Also, yellowjacket is a species of wasp.
It was mentioned that prolonged exposure to the imperfect shrinking tech would have negative effects on the mind
Yes which is why hank stopped being ant man.
Fun Fact: Hank Pym was not only the original Ant man in the comics, but he is also the person who made Ultron (Not Tony).
Hank based Ultron on his own brain waves at the time and when he did he was bipolar and going through an episode, making Ultron evil.
ALSO Ultron created Vision to kill the avengers but Vision's brainwaves were based on a character called 'Wonder man' which made him turn good and help the Avengers instead. :)
yep
Who was the first?
@@evansphenomenal The first what?
@@stevent7932 sorry, nevermind
I still think Marvel really needs to do a short summing up the MCU so far with Luis and Korg (we'll meet him in Thor:Ragnarok) having coffee and telling each other what's happened in their respective sections of the MCU.
Brilliant!
Omg that sounds awesome lol
Throw in Ned Leeds from Spider-Man and Darcy from Thor, and they would be unstoppable!
“Hank doesn’t seem to be the bad guy...” No, not in Disney Marvel, but in the books, he’s got some issues lol
some *tiny* anger issues?
I mean for a while he was Ultron, so i assume that would create some issues
@@existential_sad_boi isn't he still Ultron?
lol "issues" is an understatement.
the books?
I loved how your opinions on the ants changed once you saw them after Scott shrank down.... cute is a matter of perspective.
The humor in this one is so unique compared to all of the others, it's great! My favorite are the "telephone" conversations Luis tells Scott with the lip synced actors. Awesome that Anna Akana and Garrett Morris got cameos.
Love that you fall in love with even the little ants! 😁
The ants are adorable in this, this movie made me love ants :D
Finally someone who reacts to the ants exactly like me... They are so cute .. I find them absolutely adorable🥰🥰🥰
"Anthony is going to be forever in my head... a flying ant"
My name is Anthony 😓
Luis needs to recap the entire Infinity Saga
and even if it was 4 hours long i would watch it cause its damn funny
In the original Avengers comics, Ant-Man was one of the first members of the team in Issue #1. I can’t wait to see you respond to the humor in this movie. This is one of the movies that pushed the MCU in a new direction.
He was also Ultrons creator in the comics. Always found it weird they released Ultron about only a month before Antman.
@@brandonlyon730 They also made Hank Pym a generation older than the other Avengers, so he’s in a totally different role.
@@brandonlyon730 i really wish they stuck to the comics
Duaffy, to answer your question, you’ll see WHY Steve doesn’t tell Tony about Bucky in the third Captain America movie.
If Captain America Winter Soldier was MCU's version of a spy or James Bond movie, this feels like MCU's version of a Mission Impossible type movie.
yep
It actually feels more like a modern day version of the Mask of Zorro
@@thomaskilroy4573 Holy shit you're right lol
I can see that. I also always thought of a heist movie like one of the Ocean's movies.
For a movie so light in tone, it has one of the darkest moments in the MCU when that guy gets liquified. I think they call that mood whiplash.
Villain death is also pretty gruesome yikes
Michael Peña needs to play a bigger role in the MCU!
yeah
I went Louis and Jimmy Woo to have a short or something together. I'd watch a long conversation between those two.
@@TheWagnasty *luis
Luis needs to recap the entire MCU!
His character should take the place of the Watcher and become the Narrator of the MCU.
"I'm happy - but I'm thinking of Hope's mom..."
Well... Run that whole "shink to infinity" and "expand back from infinity" sequence back frame by frame CAREFULLY. Watch really REALLY close. They put in a MASSIVE Easter egg about that... :D
You are so passionate and empathetic...which is why your reactions are so wonderfully entertaining. I loved this movie as well.
I think you’ll like the second one just as much, if not more. Luis’s strange... condition actually comes in handy in a hilarious way. “He’s like a jukebox...”
And, well, I love the Wasp character. She’s especially formidable. Plus there’s a couple different sets of villains, one of which is picking fights way above its weight class. Persistent, if not formidable. Won’t say anything about the other antagonists, as they’re a bit more nuanced.
You’ll see.
You gotta let the whole song play
"Anthony is going to be my fav flying ant"
Uh oh
I loved that Antman got a movie because he and the wasp were my first introduction to the Avengers back in the 90s. Movie was good and Paul Rudd is a joy per usual.
Love the MCU reactions! And you look great today, by the way.
Just like Luis positive energy whenever i am feeling down i say to myself: "never felt better" xD loving the reactions keep it going 💪💪
I never get tired of this movie. It's just fun and entertaining.
Great movie. cant wait till you get into Doctor Strange and Thor Ragnork.
24:33 "Is he like something between a bee and a spider?" He's a yellow jacket...it's sort of like a hornet.
I bet Duaffy swears like a sailor on her gaming channel!
Can we talk about how great the de-aged Michael Douglas looked in this? It was so natural, compared to de-aging of Patrick Stewart in X3 or the de-agings in Star Wars (no Spoilers). They did amazingly good with Michael Douglas.
This movie and Guardians of the Galaxy exceeded my expectations. Didn’t think I would laugh so much and they were just fun to watch.
It’s always a good day when she uploads mcu reactions:))
8:21 Now you would _think,_ at about _this_ point in the movie, Scott would be wondering something along the lines of why this suit, which he has _stolen_ from someone a few decades _older_ than he is fits _him_ so well.
I could watch a spinoff with Luis, star lord and spiderman 😎
That would be either fantastically funny - or get on people's nerves REAL FAST. It's a fine line to walk.
i like the music in the end credits and the scene when Scott is running with the ants and feeding his ant and bucking his ant like a bronco, and i like the fuzzy bunny doll , and his 3 wombat friends they are funny
“Anthony will be forever in my head”
-Shit
Crazy Stupid Fine!
28:22 Now _this_ young lady's name is Anna Akana. She has a channel here on YT. She's the _only_ celebrity I _actually_ found out about through YT _before_ I ever saw her in a _movie._
This is definitely one of my favourite MCU movies. :) I've been looking forward to this.
Voice is so soothing. Always a pleasure.
"Don't you dare kill my ants!!!"
Duaffy is... Mother of Ants :)
when Luis is talking about looking at a painting near the end, look again at the painting, and tell me what you see
I've been loving your reaction to the MCU. You seem so sweet. Just subscribed too. ❤️
Always a joy to watch you, Duaffy!
I knew you would love the "doggy" ant at the end. 🥰
The end credit scene is from Captain America Civil War.
You just wait...it is both awesome (best battle scene in any MCU movie) and heartbreaking (you’ll see!) because we’ve all become so invested in these characters.
Natasha is not exactly a normal human being. She was born in 1928 and was given a variation of the super soldier serum that slows her aging and enhances her physical abilities similarly to Captain Americas. She was also trained quite brutally from childhood to be the ultimate spy and assassin. She didn't have a say in what she was made into.
That funny dude TOTALLY thought Baskin Robbins was like Dairy Queen, serving food too hahaha such a goof!🍔🍔🍔😂😂🍔
You know what's funnier? Here in Germany, Dairy Queen & Baskin Robbins are practically unknown! Dunkin' Donuts? Yeah sure, but not Baskin Robbins. Okay, maybe a few people know BR, cause I've read that there were some stores in the big cities during the 80s, but today it seems to be limited only to some US military bases.
Nevertheless a real funny scene.
“As long as I am alive, nobody will ever get that formula”
Thanos: “fine, I’ll do it myself”
Excellent reaction, this is one of my favorite MCU movies. Did you see the theater poster for it? It has the movie name in big letters on top with the rest all white, just a tiny Ant-Man in the center.
Ant-Man and Wasp were 2 of the original Avengers in the comic book, along with Thor, Hulk and Iron Man. Hulk didn't stay long and in issue 3 they found Captain America frozen in a block of ice.
You sure it wasn't issue 4? I believe it was issue 4.
Ant-Man is maybe one of the most OP superheroes. The things he can do are crazy. The potential with the creativity is endless.
5:28 to be fair, it's to show that he is living an honest, hardworking life so that he can also support his kid and not be a thief.
This and doctor strange are my favorite MCU movies
ditto
24:32 We learn that Duaffy doesn't know what a yellowjacket is.
Duaffy, wonderful reaction!!This can be considered an underrated MCU film. By the way, that lipstick looks extra delicious!! 😍
Antman is my favorite MCU movie I love his powers It be really cool to shrink down to Ant size. Loved the reaction can’t wait for the next one
24:40 A Yellowjacket is a type of wasp, hence the black and yellow colours of the suit. ^_^
thank you for the info. I didn't knew that's how it's called in English :)
Finally! Love your reactions, looking forward to the second one.
5:20 love it, you are 100% right
In a divorce where one parent is given custody of the child, the other parent is usually awarded visitation rights, these rights are usually tied to stuff like the parent needing to hold a job and have a proper residency, and most often pay child support; if these criteria are met they are given the right to "visit" their child. So even tho it sucks its actually against the law for Scott to just show up
It's called Hot-wiring when he stole the police car. Trying to help you out🤓. I love your reactions. You're so sweet.
Im not alone in this opinion......I CAN't be ..... but I really love your smile.
No matter the movie (or tv show, now that Disney+ is a thing), you're ALWAYS guaranteed a good time in the MCU!
And yes, Steve and Sam found Bucky. And next up comes the reaction to one of my favorite MCU films of all time!
Civil War is gonna blow your mind!
You really do have some of the best reactions on youtube.
Edgar Wright was preparing to make Ant- Man since 2005 but walked because he wanted to make his movie and Marvel wanted Ant- Man to seamlessly connect with the other Marvel movies because of the success of Iron Man. I am sure all of the creative bits are from Edgar's mind, Just watch Scott Pilgrim vs The World to see what I mean.
i am one of the few people who liked antman before the movie, thats because i always liked the idea of being able to shrink down, i like to be tiny in a big world XD so i always loved the concept of this character, because this is a power i would like to have haha
also, i love her daugther, who in the future, is suposed to become a super hero as well (altough, unlike her father, she turn into a giantess, her super hero name is "statura")
Zero dislikes. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
Okay Thanos... ;o)
i mean, if it was balanced then the likes and dislikes would be the exact same
Sadly no longer balanced, 6 dislikes sadly
@@mitchhamilton64 Not necesserily, balance can mean that the numbers are in the correct proportions, and in this case, 0 dislikes would be the desired outcome and therefor the correct proportions between likes/dislikes, 100% to 0% (for Jacob at the very least).
Balanced doesn't always mean of equal value, just as long as the balance has a meaning (for example to make water, the perfect balance is 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen atoms), in this instance it would be perfect wholesomeness, in which the balance is 100% to 0% like/dislike ratio.
@@Dead25m we're talking about a like and dislike bar. perfectly balanced would be equal
I love your reactions, your expressions and your cute laugh as well x
18:18 "Whoa. That's so _cool,_ bro!"
😆 Not as cool, I imagine, as having an entire _movie_ narrated by _this_ guy.
One of my fav marvel movies is coming up.. civil war.
Ooh, yeah. My abuela had a jukebox in her restaurant and it only played Morrissey....
"I need someone like him"
We ALL need someone like Luis.
Luis is the best character in the MCU :D
I ALWAYS enjoy your video reactions!
I really liked these moments with a beautiful laugh 2:23,4:56,16:21,18:37,19:06,20:57,22:49,23:19,24:15,25:54,26:21,26:27,28:00.
8:59 - it wasn't the middle of the day, it was at night
for those that may not know a Yellowjacket is a small very aggressive type of hornet/wasp.
Hey Duaffy 🤗 I don’t know why I didn’t get notified about this until now 🤔 but I’m here now lol always a pleasant video 👍🏼 thanks -IndusPavo 😸
I have never heard anyone call ants cute.
This movie managed to make us sad about an ant dying
Perhaps because I watched the Dollman series of movies in the 1980s, having a small hero never struck me as odd until you mentioned it just now.
His friend’s storytelling style always gets me 😂
•Yes, that's Howard Stark and Peggy Carter, co-founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. Howard is CEO of Stark Industries and Peggy is the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
•Dr. Hank Pym is a physicist and entomologist (the part of zoology that studies insects) who discovered the Pym Particles, subatomic particles that can alter the size of objects and people.
•Yeah, ex-prisoners really do have trouble finding work once they get out. They also have to deal with ex-spouses and child support/custody.
•Simple, he wants to be able to see his daughter.
•Nope, they're ants. One of Antman's powers is to communicate with and command ants.
•He does.
•In the MCU, it's possible, but hight not recommended. As Hank said, going subatomic can cause one to become lost in the Quantum Realm.
•The girl at the end is Anna Akana, a TH-camr and actress. She's funny.
•And that's the end of Phase II. Now on the Phase III.
Ants are actually really cute insects! ❤️
I saw this movie, when it was released in theaters, in 3D ... and it was AMAZING !!
🐜 Great reaction 🐜
Yellowjackets - being a type of hornet - are an appropriate name for a villain, no?
5:38 Although it fails as a shrink ray...As a weapon that leaves no evidence I think that works great :P
Yep, that's the Winter Soldier and the answer to your question is in Captain America: Civil War ;) Another Marvel superhero who doesn't have super powers, but is more of a street level vigilante is Daredevil. He's blind, but he has a super hearing, he can even tell by listening to a person's heartbeat if that person is lying or not. You should check out the Netflix-show of Daredevil. There's also the anti hero The Punisher, he doesn't have super powers, but he has a strong pain tolerance. He's a former military and unlike the other Marvel heroes, he's brutal and he kills the criminals. And he's my favorite Marvel character =) He first showed up in season 2 of Daredevil and he even got his own show that lasted for only 2 seasons.
I really love u and ur reaction...i always waiting for ur reaction to those movies that i saw before...i love u..pls keep watching more
30:35 Man, this part is really inspiring
Once again I love your reactions. So cute x
Great job! Very enjoyable reaction!!
You look so pretty as always Duaffy ^_^. I loved this reaction and can't wait to see you watch the later Marvel movies
23:30 i cried for anthony too, anyone who doesnt cry for anthony doesnt have a heart ;-;
5:06 "At least he's not a crook."
Boy, now. Scott cannot catch a _break,_ here. Let's just bear a few points in _mind,_ shall we?
First, that theft happened a _long time ago._
Second, Scott was caught, arrested, tried and _convicted_ for it.
Third, Scott has done his time. He's payed his debt to society. He completed a sentence and the state _released_ him.
Why does he get no _credit_ for any of this? Once a crook, always a crook? Is that the way of things around here? He was a crook _once,_ so from that day forward, there is absolutely _nothing_ he can do _(nothing_ he can go through) that's going to wipe the slate clean in this lady's eyes?
As a rat parent I’m happy to finally see someone react that way to the rat scene. 😁
