I have been passionate about my work at many times but it's a definite third to my family and my hobbies. It's a good life. Side note - my particular job has really crummy pay for an engineer but still worth it.

    Re: tutoring pay
I have a friend who was tutoring chemistry students at the local university for 30 dollars an hour and would tutor/offer supplemental education to 10+ people at a time. How he managed that, i have no idea, but 300 bucks for an hour of work sounds pretty good.

I suppose I understand the viewpoint of not having a driving passion that becomes your job? Like, I get how someone who is not me with my own neuroses can do that. But my dad was miserable for like half of his career. And then my parents turn around and tell me, repeatedly, "you don't have to pursue your hobby as a career" like it's some kind of negative outcome. "hobbies will stop being fun the moment they become a job".
Hasn't yet. Oh, it can be stressful, but I'd rather thrive on that than on something I don't care about.

You guys should go deeper into the AI prompts. I just read an article where the journalist got the chat bot to break rules and go super dark with ideas centering about a shadow self. The article was titled "A Conversation With Bing's Chatbot Left Me Deeply Unsettled" if you want to read it yourself. I think it's a NYTimes article. You guys might be able to get some more interesting results 😁

Anyone here recognize Brandon's T-Shirt? It wouldn't happen to be one of his own merchandise would it? Any direction would be great, as it looks awesome!

That's merch for Mistborn Era 2. It's design was a contest winner for the release of The Lost Metal. I'd check dragon steel's website for it.
