Bro I can't believe how your timing is with product videos!! First the video on the flexible ucs2903 strips dropped while I was designing my side mirror signals, and now this video as I'm planning out my headlight design! I've seen the laser projectors and was wondering how they compare to MLED projectors.. I think I have my answer now.. (and supplier!).
Glad it worked out. I was holding out making my decision on which lasers to sell but now that ive found the right one i felt it was time for a video to help people decide which one is best for them.
@NextLevelNeo I can appreciate what you must have gone through to find them! I was going down the rabbit hole of overseas laser projectors in an attempt to find an alternative to the UPS Laser. And man was that overwhelming!!! My project truck I'm building is getting a custom fiberglass front clip that I'm molding at the moment. This gave me the unique opportunity to make some 100% custom headlights. They will use the lenses from an ebay set but have a 3d printed housing where the projectors will live. I even have the room to stuff in something like a Diode Dynamics Ss3 SAE driving/high beam and a smaller ss2 or ss2 spot. Just toying with the options now and looking into what filament to use for the final "buckets". Kind of have the same scenario going on in the bumper and am half tempted to try and add a projector down there too 😂. Being a lifted truck I'm interested to experiment with supplemental low beams down low like that. Cheers !!! Thanks again !
Im planning the lighting build of my legacy lights and have only just started looking at these so timing is great. Do you offer right hand drive options at all please as im in the uk.
@NextLevelNeo ahh thats a shame man. I wanted to go 3 inch. Could i not in theory remover the the highbeam cut out plate and flip it. Or is it a curved plate.
@hammer7338 thats a good point mate tbf im still in the planning stages at the moment as i cant pull the lights apart until we get the new car on friday. Then my legacy gets toy status

I do have a couple 2.5" that are rhd. I don't have the 3" options in rhd.

@mikelaradesigns Do your headlights have the room for dual projectors? I bet dual 2.5" would outperform a single 3", Just an idea ! Cheers
