And don't be afraid to call out a product that sucks, shows good faith... maybe bake into the contract that you're going to say the product sucks if you think it sucks, etc, include here and there in videos when companies aren't willing to abide by those principals "i was approached by x company, however x company was not willing to sponsor my video if i did not follow a positive script" etc. Idk how that would fly from a business perspective, may be terrible advice haha, but that's how i would do it

When you can try out the new 90wh battery mod it has a full 3D printable backplate
Printing that backplate I can’t do since my printer isn’t big enough but it’s really hard
To get it not to warp. I’ll end up seeing if someone else can print it for me
I have only one product review left to do and then I’m done for a long while. I want to get back to making content I want to make. It’s so easy to get caught up saying yes “I would love to review that.” But man it’s such hassle.
Facts. Especially when these are genuinely cool products I feel deserve my time and energy. I still will take some but I’ll be very cautious moving forward. I saw your recent monitor review and giving it to your friend was a giga chad move. I’m still using mine actually and now it’s become my main monitor for now long story short lol my other one took a poop on me and keeps flickering and my 49” g9 is on my racing sim and I’m too tired to move it back lol

The handheld diy backplate doesn’t feel anywhere near as good as the stock and the stand slot is ugly if you choose to not use it because it’s too big for thin carrying cases, the temps are about 5c lower with it
You can remove the kick stand and use it in any case. The dimensions on the hhdiy backplate are 1:1 same as factory with curvature and size.
They make it diff colors and I think it looks way better than stock and I’ve proven in prior videos the temps are better than stock.
You can see I removed my kickstand and put a sticker there. It fits in every case ever made for the ally like this.

@TVCHLORD look on the back of the hhdiy backplate. There’s to Phillips head screws that will remove the kick stand.

The latest gamers nexus video where he sat down with asus and put the fire under them just changed things forever. It’s a massive win. I fully believe they will do right now esp with the light on them and the promises they made.
Btw, where do you buy your joysticks, buttons and dpads? And do you have a video on how to replace them?
I printed them myself using a 200$ Bambu labs a1 mini. The easiest printer ever and changing them is a huuuuuuuuuge pain. Motherboard had to come out.
i have a question about docking stations, i tried 2 docks for my rog ally (airsky dock, dell docking station) it both works but im encountering problems with LAN port, if the docking station is connected to my rog ally (hdmi, 2 usb cables without charger) the LAN port is working 100%, but once a charger is connected on the dock, it will disable the LAN port, note that regardless what charger i use (stock 65w or 145w by ugreen or 120w gan charger by xiaomi) the LAN port always get disabled once a charger is connected (the LAN port is blinking orange and green for a bout 1 second and then it will have no light and it will continue to do that endlessly)
and when the charger is unplugged, the LAN port is working again, what do you think would be the problem?
What cable are you using with the ugreen charger? What’s the length on it ? The 65w def isn’t enough so it’s prob limiting the dock but also if your not using like a 3foot 100w rated usb c cable on the dock and ally side it’s gunna limit power too
@@cppctek i also tried using the ugreen 145w powerbank with the included stock cable but still the same issue, is the problem with the docking stations
My heat sink isn't even close to my heat pipes I bought the ones off Amazon for 6 bucks I got like 5 in a pack. Maybe like you said that guy wasn't paying attention to his placement. But I got the 20by20by10 and it never touched my heat pipe maybe it's cause I put the heatsink on my SSD then closed it. It doesn't move or nothing. Idk how well it works cause I don't know how to test SSD temps.
Thanks man. Just run an app like hwinfo and keep and eye on temps there. It will run and show all kinds of data and temps. When you open it first click sensors only or run sensors. That’s what you need to see the temps and log the max temps and see the avgs

Best investment you’ll ever make. It’s so fun if you get one like mine where you don’t have to fafo like on the ender 3. I wanted to ender my life trying to get consistent prints out of those lol. The Bambu labs takes the guess work and skill needed out of the picture and you can just enjoy life printing
