That's become my favorite razor. I had the Sentry but missed the adjustments. You will find the Konsul is the way to go. The Sentry is approx setting 4 on the Konsul which was fine for a face shave but a little too much for a head shave IMHO.
Great vid Heiko, with high quality product. My under the nose trick is simple. Grow a bushy mustache. Five days growth, always a stout test for any blade/razor combo. Cheers, John
Great video Heiko. Glad you enjoy the Konsul. Just too much blade feel for me. I have the Simpson T3 and it makes a great lather. Love the deck and carport. Have a wonderful week. 👍
Great shave ! The combination of the Konsul on 3 and the feather made short work of that growth. Good trick on scooping under the nose. I use it all the time, makes it easy.
You've tried a broad range of razors, what would you say are your top 3-5 razors for a comfortable safe shave? If the priority is comfort and no risk of cuts / irritation, but enough efficiency that it can handle 3 or 4 days growth. Basically the best balance of efficiency while still being mild and irritation free
I really enjoy the #3 Leaf Twig, it is mild but efficient. #2 Parker Variant Open Comb is a very comfortable adjustable that doesn't break the bank. #1 is the Timeless Slim Titanium (absolute top notch razor but expensive) Here are a few other razors that enjoy as well, the Timeless Aluminum Slant, the Yaqi Ultima Slant Adjustable, the Rex Konsul of course and the "The Razors Company" aluminum razor.
I had the Konsul, but had to sell it. It shaved nicely with the grain, but it would cut my face up horribly when shaving against the grain. Do you ever have that problem?

Hallo, ich heute mit dem Wassertrick eine neue Klinge in meinen Konsul eingesetzt. Hat gut funktioniert!
Viele Grüße aus ol' Germany 😀
Gruß zurück.
nice shave with the Konsul !!
Thanks! 👍
I always enjoy watching people shave when they have more facial hair to remove! Have a good 1 my friend!
Thanks! You too!

A mustache is one way of dealing with the under nose stubbles. Thanks for your comment.

12:13 you are very welcome. I always like to help a fellow wet shave enthusiast 😏
The 'rocking' technique is definitely the way to go to get the stubble under the nose.
Totally agree!
Rocking under the nose is difficult to do but still does help. That can be followed by side to side razing with the corner of the razor.
I agree. Cheers
Awesome shave Heiko !!!!!!

Nicely done Heiko nice brush🖌
Thanks 👍
Have you thought on getting the Tatara muramasa adjustable? Would be interesting to hear your opinion on it
That is a nice looking razor but pretty pricey. Let's see what I can do.

@@Heiko-shaves great choices Heiko, thanks for sharing - agree the Timeless is a beauty

I don't have that problem. If I set it to a low setting it is a pretty mild razor. I really like it.
That "Simpson" is as the name of the brush and not the company. The brush's name is Simpson ##
