The heavy bar ends help to kill vibration to your hands.

You are correct. I put about 250 mi on the bike since yesterday and it works great. Wahoo!

Hi Fuzzy.. I'd fitted the guards keeping the bar end weights, as the fit was better than to use the plastics sent, the weights are recessed to the bars, the plastic ones stood off and left a gap.. used the supplied bolts as had no Loctite and they'd meant to been torqued too.. In all it looks neat, tidy and by design.
Should have had guards fitted on delivery, but were not, told likely was out of stock at time.. had to chase before finally got them..!!
Did wonder if total mass. guard with weight would have adverse effect to vibrations, but not the case, really I've not found issues with vibrations, likely find it getting into the higher speed range/revs.. yet to complete run in..
Stay safe and hit the trails riding.. cheers

I did wonder about the total mass increase with the stock ends and guards too. Like you, my bars seem about the same. I really like the guards, the lack of the forward support means they clear my wider windscreen better. Where about are you located? Wahoo!

@@forgottenmotorcycles Hi Keith, the weight.. funny thing I did, an how sad at that, I weighed each and the total, it was over double, but clever thing.. not noted it down.. :

Did you notice any vibration in the handlebars while using the lighter end caps? I have been told that the heavier handlebar end caps reduce the vibration in your hands.

I ended up using the heavier factory ends and after about 250 mi I would say the vibration is identical to what it was before. Very happy with the guards so far :-)

I am using the same knuckle guard but they easily get loose if you push them towards up which results in brushing the upper side of my wrist and in worst case it can break your wrist too. Is there any way to solve this issue?

I used locktite when installing the guards. Have not had any problems with them moving...yet. Wahoo!

@@vinaysharma4740 loctite the name brand here. I use the blue. I know in different countries the colors have different values. This is a kind of sticky but defeatable with a wrench.

Hi ...can i use the same factory fitted handle bar end ? Weight is ok ? Is thre any vibrations ?
And the short Bolt working fine?
Can you update how it is now?
    Thank you ...

I did use the factory bar ends. Vibrations didn't change. In two years the shorter bolts have worked fine, no problems. I even dropped the bike on its right side landing on the bar end. No damage from that fall. I do like and recommend these hand guards. Wahoo!
