The Mecanik M01 fits perfectly on the Canik MC9LS. included screws with the M01 don't of course. The Canik MC9LS slide optic cover plate screws with their washers fit the M01 red dot. Your Wilson/Sig 365 RMSc footprint on the slide is a bit too short or the Canik M01 red dot sight is a little too long. You are having some interference at the ends of the foot print or with the slide's lugs. I have had issues before like this with other RMSc red dots and other pistols with RMSc footprints. Manufacturing tolerances on red dot sights and/or slides can sometimes not be compatible.
I’ve had one directly mounted on an sft for four years. I changed the battery once and have had zero failures. I grabbed another one and put it on the echelon. I wish it were enclosed because reaching in to clean the inner glass is annoying. I did hear an enclosed m04 is developing.
FYI, Just recieved my Mechanik M01 Red Dot Site and it has been redesigned/upgraded. When I opened the package there were two tools instead of the 4 way tool shown in most videos of the Mechanik M01 site. There is a tool that looks like a little cross and it is for unscrewing the o-ring sealed battery cap on the top inside of the Mechanik M01 red dot site. That's right, you do not have to remove the Mechanik M01 site from the gun anymore to replace the battery as it is replaceable from the top inside of the red dot site! But, The battery is now a CR1632 with 30,000 hrs,(3.5 yrs instead of 60,000hrs.on the first Gen.). Also the bottom of the site has a metal plate with screws and it says to be o-ring sealed, WATERPROOF. You get a waterproof site that you can replace the battery without removing from your gun but smaller battery CR1632 and half the hours of the original/ 30,000 hours (3.5 years) instead of 60,000 hours (6.5 years) on the first Gen. I'm OK with that!
That doesn't sound too bad dude! I must have just gotten the old one. What did you put it on? I wonder if that solved the issue with the dot not sitting quite flush on the 365 slide?

Interesting, thanks for the info! It's too bad I really like the sight. I may have to get an MC9LS!

Chinese manufacturing, there tolerances are much looser.
The ol' China surprise, got me again.
