- Will it start?! This Ski Doo Mini Z was left in pieces and abandoned for years! Update since upload: I fixed the throttle spring setup with 2 beefier springs, and got rid of the hose clamp on the gas tank. My brain was too mushed up from fumes apparently and realized my mistake there pretty quickly.
We need some snowmobile camping videos 🤟
You are going to be the coolest uncle ever. The kids are going to lose their shit. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
I try to be, and they did! Lol The video of them unwrapping the GIANT box in the living room is priceless.
Always a good day when Jeremy uploads. Love the videos man, keep it up.
Thank you!! I appreciate the support!
The cable with the aluminum knob laying in the belly pan is your adjustable main jet, screws into the bottom “bolt” on the carb, turn in until snug, then back out 1.5 turns. Adjust as needed
you are a good uncle Jeremy!
Just started riding this year, I’ve been watching all your videos waiting for it to snow! Love the content man pure fun and enjoyment
Welcome to the sled family! You are in for a lifetime of fun! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Start them young! Your the fun uncle! 😂
Awesome present for the nephews! You know they're gonna love it. Plus that thing would be so easy to hop up, just get a bigger Honda.
Awesome man. Sweet little sled. We have a 1971 Kitty cat for our kids. Little 60cc 2 stroke
These repair vids are great too Jeremy
Great video i watch every one brother keep up the great job North Dakota has no snow 😢 and is there a bigfoot? 8:47 love all the videos wish you could do more with the boys back always a good time when they are around
Enjoy the videos Jeremy!! Someday i wanna get a mini z and put my spare MXZ 670 motor into it, be a lot of fabricating but it should be a fun project (if even possible)
Love the videos as always man! Keep it up, don't ever stop puttin vids out!
I'm going to try not to stop! Lol
@@JeremyRhydes yessir lol. I challenge you to upload all through this year. No seasons off! Haha jokes ofc, we all got stuff we gotta do!
Everytime I get a notification that you posted a new video I can't click fast enough!!
Haha Thank you! I really appreciate the support!
Always, I appreciate what you do for the world of snowmobiling. I would love to go ripping with you someday!!
Is Travis gonna be back this winter or did he move
Hey man! Of course it will!!
Haha I should calculate the success rate between all the sleds.
You might want to work on repositioning that tank still. One issue....that you mentioned was the spout position reducing tank capacity. But also where the drain line/pick up position being higher then normal cuts off the bottom quarter of the tank. So I estimate you have about half the tanks capacity for available fuel
I knew this would be mentioned a lot. Lol I should have mentioned in the video it was temporary while I hunt down a tank that actually fits. I figured it would be good enough to test it and ride it a bit as is. Thankfully these sleds sip gas so that's a plus too.
@@JeremyRhydes That tank may very well work with some custom brackets that will let the tank sit flat
Always love your video's, ty. Would love to come ride with ya. I'm in upstate ny. I'm riding 2020 assault 850.
Yeah stiffer spring 👍
Love your videos been here since 2017!!!
Thank you!! That means a lot to me!
Looks like you will run out of Gasoline to the carburetor when the tank is still 2/3 full .
It's a temporary tank. I need to find something less awkward that fits in better.
Maybe a small red plastic gas can could work? You could make use of your plastics welder and fashion your own drain spout with a brass fitting. Something like a gallon tank
Love your videos
Thank you sir!
that petcock location is only going to allow for like half a tank of use the way you have the tank oriented.
Many are commenting on this, as I expected. Lol I should have been more clear about it in the video. It's temporary and am looking to either re-locate or get a better fitting tank. These sleds sip gas so I figured it was enough to at least run it a bit as is.
gotcha! yeah for temp use its fine. cheers brother!@@JeremyRhydes
Jeremy dude, a machine just like that in Ontario $2500 not a dime less😢 it’s insane. Been trying to score one for my 5 year old for couple years now, can’t get them even at $2500 they sell with hours of being posted
That's awesome.
Thank you! My nephews think so too. Lol
@@JeremyRhydes need more snow now. Smiles for Miles.
Yea buddy good job
Thank you, sir!
You should put the old Eiland on the back the trailer bud and that little guy in the bed the truck. By the Eiland does look good in the back the truck. BTW the enticer looks amazing
Thanks man! Currently driving with the Elan in the bed and Enticer on the trailer. Lol
@JeremyRhydes the elan looks amazing in the back the truck but ride one brother. I lost all my sleds in July in the flood
are you trying to sell it brother ? my son could have fun with it !
Where's mike?!!
What year is it?
1999!
2024
Its keihin carb, pronounced (kee in)...
Those came on Harleys for years..
Thats a good deal, that motor alone is about $400 and mini Z hold their value in Canada, guys asking upwards of $3000 these days...
I'll remember that! Never did get into Harleys much. Had a Sportster on the channel years ago. Yeah, these little Mini sleds are easily $2,000 here for a nice one.
🤘
Dang I bought my xcsp edge for 800$ and it’s a 800 and ran but been a lemon sense but it runs and starts first pull but overheats but I think I finally figured out why and fixed it
The one day I drive 7 hrs no problem and then the other day with not enough snow it had a air pocket and blew all the coolant out the head and it got up to 316f in some spots and I jst put new gasket in it but it doesn’t smoke and hold coolant but now I’m scared to take it far cause the engine is multiple temps the head is 150-190 and the coolant bottle 85 and the back coolers 80-85 and the first cooler 44 so idk I hope when it snows again it stays fine I figured out my snow flap wasn’t angled right I think thts why it was overheating
When I turn it off and throw snow on the coolers and let it sit and then start it it goes down to 100-130 but sometimes when it says 150-180 other spots say 90 -100 so idk is the top head supposed to be multiple temps
Pick up on the tank looks half way up tank. , run out of feul at half tank, or am I seeing things
You are correct. That is a temporary tank which I didn't elaborate on in this video. These little sleds sip gas though, so I figured it would be good enough to at least run a bit.
I want to put a 1 cylinder 250 in one of them it would rip
Governor linkage take it off and put it in the farthest hole. it will fix your throttle problem! get rid of that Extra Spring
I tried that with no luck. The spring is just not strong enough.
@@JeremyRhydes no kidding I thought for sure that was the problem. Looks like the same as a predator motor?
weres mike
Classic lol
Jeremy if you see this can you shout me out because I have been watching you for sooooo long now and you are the best TH-camr in the world and I hope you see this
Hey buddy! Thanks so much! I'm not sure what name or who I would be shouting out at this point, but consider this your shout out! Lol
terrible product at a terrible price LOL 😆
You got ripped off spending 700 for a non running sled with parts missing. Only worth 300 max
I think it was a good deal. In my area, these sleds sell for $2,000 in good condition. I knew the motor was good, and didn't need much.
That's a good deal, I see them for around 1200 to 1500 in upstate ny.
I've never seen one of these mini's for less then a $1000
Worth it. He got a good deal.
