This was so helpful, thank you! I’ve just started reading about ancestor work with Ancestral Tarot and so far, I have only been using my Smith Waite for the exercises. Buuuut would really love to get a deck that fits me and my heritage; it’s very hard to find decks that have elements of my Mexican, Portuguese, and German heritage. I’m thinking the Herbcrafters Tarot would be a great option since both sides of my family used herbs for healing or were farmers!
The Herbcrafters is one of my main ancestoral decks as the art within the deck really speaks to Mexican tradtions however there are plenty herbs the cross many culturals through out the deck. You have quite a few culturals to connect to, you may want to use 2 or 3 decks to really connect. BTW, Maree Bento of Divine Muses is Portuguese. You may be able to find some sort of connection using one of her decks. Thank you so much for watching Jess.
Hello and welcome!!! I haven't recorded a video on how I specifically work with my ancestors but I would highly recommend reading one or more of the books I recommend in the video. There are many ways to meet your ancestors such as dream work, journey work, meditation, drumming, crystals, divination but as I stated in the videos it's extremely important to do this work correctly. If you can, try the book "Bad Ass Ancestors" it's a great starting point and offers great overall information. If you work with Tarot "Ancestral Tarot" is an awesome book with wonderful Tarot spreads and prompts. There are different things I love about each of the books I mentioned, each of them offers a little something different and some more detailed than others in separate areas of the work. I will say that the base of my Ancestral work comes through and how I do my work for Dia de Los Muertos: setting up an altar, feeding my ancestors, offerings, etc. - then upon honoring and building a relationship with them, I can begin my work. I hope this helps. Much love, Annette
Hello and thank you so much for watching. I just went to Etsy and the store is gone but I did find what seems to be an active facebook page. Try this: facebook.com/pacharunas/

Do you have the link for the pacha runas? I was unable to locate the seller on Etsy.
