"Where in the body is the basilic vein located?" If Paul said "arm" at the very last split second, he would have caught them. I guess he was scrambling to remember because was a medical practitioner in his days.
For how unbelievably competitive it was (with both the team and the chaser bringing out their respective A games) then yeah, it's certainly a contender for best final chase in the show's history. But there are other contenders One of my favourites ever is Martin, Julie, Rocky for £42,000... YET ANOTHER which went to the very last second
Another funny final chase was one that a team of three did 22 right answers and chaser manages to get to 24 and he sweared, that was in series 3, and that episode was episode 9
Anno Domini cost Paul that match, he should've got that. I think (could be wrong on this) with that he would've become the only chaser in the history of the show to catch 28 steps.
@@jrtrct9097 Yeah, obviously I appreciate he's having to go extremely fast because of the mammoth target he's having to chase down and the wording was a bit confusing with phrase/abbreviation but I thought he just gave himself a tiny bit of time to think when he touched his nose and of course he knew the answer. Tiny margins I know of course though.
@@gameshowclips that's good. I heard Paul was diagnosed with parkinsons a few years back, wasn't sure how his health was as of 2023. Thanks for replying
the 1 where the chaser reached 24 with 25 seconds left was the best 1 as if that chaser needed 28 then he almost 100 percent dead certain would have gotten 28 and possibly even been the first chaser ever to get to 30 or more as well
I feel like whenever Bradley Walsh asks 'How do you feel?', it's a scramble to find a synonym of 'happy'.
That's how they work yes
Wow 28 steps and almost caught

Marks error with "Reindeer" instead of deer cost him dearly.
Absolutely. He would’ve made The Chase history if he didn’t make that mistake!
Deerly
Angela and Neil's win, the best final chase in the history of The Chase. 💯
Yeah. It was an awesome final chase.

4:06...
The look from the contestant when you know you're probably going to be beaten by a better player or in this case a chaser.

I disagree. The question specifically asked for the Latin phrase. Anno Domini is the phrase, whereas AD is just the abbreviation.

Or even if he answered a bit quicker, he coulda gotten the last one even as a doctor
Well he knows about St Elmo's Fire
Paul got the carbon dioxide question right here but not in Beat the Chasers.
Full episode of the final chase at 8:48?
8:47 £16,001? 😂😂
BORIS!
4:58
Huh that full house all got 24 correct
Paul getting 24 out of his 25 questions right was insane
He actually got 25 out of 27 questions right, 2 wrong, 1 pushback, scored 24
Do they still have all six chasers playing as of 2023? Rarely watched the chase this year
They do indeed.

@Gameshowclips You should see me as a Chaser: THE BRAINSTORM!
Both this and Paul's attempts to catch a 28 step target just...failed.
Paul did well getting to 27 though.
Gameshow Clips You Should meet The Bublic Gamer2
I’ve seen a couple of his videos before actually.
Asking them how they’re feeling after missing out on thousands of pounds what a stupid question
£16,001 😂

He would have been on pace for 30 at the current rate, that was insane
If you include the push backs, he did hit 30!
@@AbhiramH well mayhe not quite 30! Probably 30 though
I'd be disappointed with all those extremely easy questions too.
2:41 is this incorrect? That is definitely the Swiss flag’s description, not the Danish one. Little inaccuracy there!
Both Denmark and Switzerland have white crosses on red backgrounds, just different sizes
@@Stbricechannel I’m embarrassed, not me mixing up Dutch and Danish 🤦♂️
yes, my bad there.
