This game came out on early access more polished and with less bugs, than modern AAA Games one month after full Launch. And it seems they aint going broke. What a miracle.
I greatly appreciate the time, effort, and attention to detail Coffee Stain Studios takes with their titles. AAA franchises could learn something from this group.
Coffee Stain has put in MORE WORK into this game than any other early access program I've ever seen. Yes the game has some crazy bugs, even now. But the team has EARNED the trust of the community time and time again by delivering on their promises, communicating effectively about the state of development, and continuously fixing bugs and tweaking the map and mechanics. Even in the current state of early access, even TWO big updates ago, the "main branch" was fully playable... it just lacked an official storyline and a few mechanics were a bit wonky (i.e. pipes). So I feel like if the team feels like it's the right decision to skip experimental branch for 1.0 and just wait a few days for bug reports, then fix the remaining bugs and push a hotfix or two during the first couple of weeks in full release, then the players can count on them to honor that commitment to post-1.0 bug fixes. Seriously, the Coffee Stain team has done a phenomenal job not only in making a great game, but also in securing large-scale community engagement from the player base. You have revolutionized the way video game development is done. And I, for one, would like to say thank you for that. And so we continue to eagerly await the finished product.
Having played both New World & Satisfactory on & off for the past years, I can honestly say Coffee Stain is a diamond in the rough when it comes to releases and communication ! Keep up the good work, looking forward to 1.0 !
The biggest issue the game has is that there's not enough stuff to research in the endgame. Satisfactory does not compete with Factorio, it competes with Space Exploration, Krastorio 2 and Seablock and each of those has much more content than satisfactory does.
Send v1.0 out to Josh (Let's game it out) 1-2 weeks before release or so. He'll find bugs due to his gamestyle by just not following the standard game rules or refuse to play the game how it's meant to be played.
I doubt that it's gonna release during the summer. The swedish basically stop working over the summer. If they do release the game before, they couldn't really give any support or fix any bugs, shortly after realese. My guess is that they will drop 1.0 just after summer vacations, or maybe somewhere in the fall. It's wild speculations, of course, but I know a lot of Swedish and Norwegian companies that operate that way.
@Jan-lj6ej, there's allways someone still working, but they aren't at full capacity. But I doubt they would put anyone in a situation where they had to deal with this themselves 😂. But since somethings he said, I'm guessing a mid to late September release.
Mom, mom, mom... mom... Are we there yet? ... How about now, are we there yet NOW? ... Mom, mom. mom... Why are we still NOT THERE YET? 🤣 "Keep your pants on, son, we'll get there when we get there."

Respect the customer’s time, mind, and wallet? What a radical concept in 2024! /s
Damn. No Experimental for that new pooping feature.
I was looking forward to beta testing toilets
@@Ecliptor. Now I legitimately want to know if "toilet beta tester" is a job and if so how do I get that job

@@andrewhoughton8606 SE2 will be awesome
Short answer is no, he said straight to EA, but I think he meant straight to full release.
Give me better fluid trains!
Fluid trains are called pipelines in english /s

"were going to EA" - isnt Early Access over the moment 1.0 drops? :D
I took it to mean they're going to release it with all its buggy glory, just as EA intended(EA sports always has buggy game releases)
Going to GA, General Availability. Standard term for full production release.
@@Tobias-ek6bg oh well, i misunderstood that then
It'll be good. 🙂

somehow i will miss switching between updates within Experimental and EA . anyone else feeling also kinda sad its a end of a era?
I gathered over a month of vacation time . But im patient 🙆🏻👀 .

1.0 is still early access??
Referring to the EA vs. Experimental branches.
How much beta testing is needed for adding shit feature? I was hoping for t10 :P
