From the Coffee Stain Studios stream, I like the bouncing Ficsit logo, it is the same as DVD-players use to have as a screen saver.
I think they've stated that in 1.0 Mercer spheres and somer sloops or whatever they're called will finally have a use. Sorry it's been a while since I've played.
@@Wildemut I saw a clip from a live stream where Snutt answered "Will somersloops and mercer spheres finally have a practical use" with "They will have a use." So for one reason or another he wasn't willing to confirm the word "practical." Very early in the game's development, you could scan both things in the MAM, it said something about Mercer spheres having gravitational powers, and scanning more Somersloops would unlock more buildables. So, here are my hypotheses for what they're for: - They get their own MAM tree which unlock technology, but each node in the tree requires more and more of them a bit like Hestu in Breath of the Wild. - They get their own MAM tab and function like hard drives unlocking alternate recipes. - They are ingredients to make a limited quantity of modules that plug into factory buildings instead of power shards. Power shards are not unlike speed modules in Factorio, so maybe we get productivity or efficiency modules as well? - They are story unlock tokens. They will be turned in at the MAM, and once you scan enough of them you are given a story beat, possibly by being pointed to somewhere in the world to go to witness a story beat. - Some combination of the above. There are two kinds of artifacts so they may have different purposes.
The O in the word Toilet looks more like the Milky Way Galaxy to me. And where is the water coming from with the toilet flushing? Will the HUB require a water input?
I suspect the gas may just be location there in the grassy fields. When you build inside the poison gase area, the gas ignores the building foundations and walls and just flows through.
i think a big teleporting facility wouldnt make sense alone on the cost of the items you need to feed it and drones existing, and liquid nuclear waste also seems wrong, as it would make getting rid of waste way too easy by just using "flush pipe network" once in a while
I doubt we'd be stuck permanently with having to store nuclear waste though. It makes very little sense just to have to store it somewhere and do nothing with it, both from a gameplay perspective as well as performance reasons. Maybe the teleportation gadget allows you to teleport the nuclear waste into oblivion by sending it up the blue beam and into the sun or a black hole?

I remember playing a leaked version of the closed beta years ago, there was a non functional item storage bin that would've linked to your inventory. Cost SAM ingots to build
For the teleportation one, there is a new telephoning feature where you can put items into a small building, smaller than a storage container, to "upload" items into the quantum universe. You will then be able to access these items through your inventory and your build gun. There are limits to how much of an item you can upload, but this can be upgraded aswell as the speed at which it upgrades through the MAM, which is where you unlock this technology.

@TotalXclipse At 2:25 when you talk about the missing power cables, whenever I specialize my several factory buildings, I usually connect all factories through the grond beneath inside the blocks. This way you can barely see it is connected. It could be that, as a joke, the one who built the factory for this trailer, did the same. I love to do this myself, because it gives all factory buildings a very clean look. I hate cable lines.
I kinda feel like it isn't, since it isn't "needed", but the machine in the middle looks awfully a lot like a fusion reactor in my eyes. Also kinda matches the description and concept art i made on the Satisfactory Q&A site regarding just that. Gaseous waste (pink stuff), but instead of creating power, this reactor may be used to fuse complex parts into the final, most complex, parts in the game. Hence the item input/output as well.
The first think the pink liquid/gas made me think of is liquid crystal possibly made from Quartz Crystal. Computer displays are typically Liquid Crystal Displays. IRL it isn't quartz, but it could be good enough for the game as an item and the color would make sense.
2:20 It may also be an alternative to power shards. An item (maybe one of the alien collectibles) that allow you to to replace cables with a power component in the machine that fuels it instead.
I do think the "angled glass" is a normal pane of glass, it's just attached to the "roof glass" above, as it's 90° to it. I would assume that's how the angle was achieved, no dev-tools necessary.
7:50 Those aren't daisy chained. There's very little sag in the cable, which suggests it's leading off to a hidden power pole behind the structure on the right there.
12:42 It kinda gives me a vibe like how right now when you go into the items that are supposed to be part of the storyline and it does this kind of transients mindset like it's talking to you kind of. reminds me like that. Maybe we'll have an alien in our mind at some point.
I would say, that there is an alternative recipe for more power with the coal generators. Because it is being feed by an explosive gas and the blue liquid would be a better cooling fluid.
3:56 I believe that what you called the cooling system is actually the superposition Oscillator. But I could be wrong. It just looks similar in my mind.
My thought process is similar, but more on the line that since everything is automated, and we don't have to worry about maintenance, a portal or some mode of transport to allow us to leave. I doubt it would be for colonists since it's all about exploitation.
@@Basspounder5 why would anyone come here? and why would we use a portal to leave? the planet is only worth its resources (the reason we're here) & we're not worth enough to harness portal energy to get us off it, after we're done we'll just get shot off the planet via the elevator like everything else we're sending off.
The item on the first conveyer looks sort of like a battery pack. Maybe you can upgrade the hover suit so you can leave wireless power range for a number of seconds and manage to go back without falling to your death?
The thing that caught my eye I haven't heard mentioned yet is that the pioneer was hopping over the belt in one close-up scene and sliding under it in another. It's easy to assume that hop over animation was custom for the video, but I suspect it is actually a new movement mechanic. Imagine walking through a factory full of 1-high belts and just being able to seemlessly walk "through" them where your character does a kind of parkour over the belt. Am I reading too much into it?
Thought too this scene focus too much on the move for not being a hint of a new character movement. Maybe with some equipment but seeing how nice the movements already are, I would find it nice to be able to slide low on the floor or over objects like the conveyors at this height
Hi, not sure if you spotted it, but at 15 seconds in when the shot zooms into the hub, if you zoom in further you can clearly see an ikea style bookcase through the open door, and what looks like a coffee machine in the background through the window :)
12:06 You can see by the area where you were talking about feeding the items, the cyan fluid pipe is going into/out that machine! The center ring of the fluid indicator is barely visible around one of the item canisters. (Side note, I wonder if the glowing fluid can be packaged and that’s the new canister or if you’ll need to use pipes for it?)
the blue light is Cherenkov Radiation. it's when a nuclear reactor is running. my guess is the new rotating building is for doping computer parts to make new tech level stuff.
@@LiLBitsDK I've uninstalled the game until 1.0, I was looking on Satisfactory Calculator and the rotor image looks different, but it could be an old image on there
Yo I'm 100% on the teleporter and supercomputer theories here. You weren't kidding in the comments on the last video when you said you missed even more lol
It has been said that nuclear is required to progress so the idea of fart gas and nuke waste being combined for some end game recipe would then make sense.
At the 14 second mark it does look (at the top left) that there will be some kind of wall hole as it appears to be off center to the door below it. Unless they are clipping.
That's a central wall whole, but the elevator is slightly further away from the wall so there's a conveyor going into it, making the perspective look a touch off
The gold pipe ties into the gold skin that was used in the hub for a really long time. and there is that golden cup + golden factory cart so it would make sense if we could use gold more.
Those "ingots" could be a new model for solid biomass. It never made much sense to fuel the chainsaw (and jetpack later) with massive logs of OSB (oriented strand board). A smaller model looks better to me.
The thing u thought was a teleporter us def a teleporter cuz they added the superposition oscillator a long time ago which says its used for teleporting and it makes sense to finally add a use for it same with the same ore so i believe the pink stuff is from sam ore
"but surely, we'll know soon enough." FALSE!!! We won't know until September! That's _months_ away, and isn't nearly soon enough! I for one am curious whether, at some point, the HUB will change in appearance, or if we'll even be able to customize the interior! Excellent work, as usual!
Could the pink liquid be from quarts crystals? The quartz is pinkish in color. Maybe a liquid quartz fluid for mixing with sam ore? Or for quantum stuff perhaps.
My guess is that that building is a end game teleporting device to a new map/planet, hence the beam towards the sky and the "O" in toilet being like a galaxy.
Fart rock nodes for hydrogen sulfide gas? Irl it's used in petroleum processing, wastewater treatment, and mining, so maybe we need it to flush the amazing new toilet or to mine a node now, a la sulfuric acid in factorio for uranium?
IMHO, green liquid is not nuclear waste. Otherwise you could just dump it in a fluid buffer, and destroy the nuclear waste when removing the fluid buffer.
That green glow in the pipe looks similar to the green glow of the Plutonium fuel rods once they have been assembled to install in the Nuclear Power station.
Wonder if the new fluorescent liquids could be fracking liquid for a new type of miner and Sam ore could be an ingredient in making the fracking liquid
Could the new liquids and ingots be SAM Ore?

Yep it looks like the hub has been redone but I'm not sure how much of that we can control
The toilet flush O looks like the Milky Way galaxy.
I'd imagine that the new building will be a kind of beacon or "enhancer" that'll raise efficiency in nearby buildings
7:27 my theory is that it's just solid biofuel but it's retextured
the blue light is Cherenkov Radiation. it's when a nuclear reactor is running. my guess is the new rotating building is for doping computer parts to make new tech level stuff.
That new items looks like Plasma Spitter Remains, it could either have a new recipe or it is used to represent something else
I bet the devs absolutely LOVE laughing at all of the crazy content and speculation that pops up from a single one minute video they posted.
0:12 A part is riding on the conveyor on the right ..What is this detail? Is it one detail or two?
Being flushed through the toilet to teleport would be hilarious!
7:20 third belt, doen't look like a rotor, unless the LOD is stopping it from resolving correctly
it is rotor, put one on the ground in game and look for yourself
@@LiLBitsDK I've uninstalled the game until 1.0, I was looking on Satisfactory Calculator and the rotor image looks different, but it could be an old image on there
@@MrBwian well I can tell you 100% sure it is a rotor... have the game running... the website isn't the same ;-) it's not solid in the middle
IN the first picture you show we can see right to the hub around the tank some unatural grass maybe they've aded a bit of nature for decoration 😅
what you think could be teleport could also be a new form of power plant since it has a pipe and belt connection
Yo I'm 100% on the teleporter and supercomputer theories here. You weren't kidding in the comments on the last video when you said you missed even more lol
I was surprised how much I missed - just shows how sneaky CSS are when it comes to these trailers
It has been said that nuclear is required to progress so the idea of fart gas and nuke waste being combined for some end game recipe would then make sense.
For me it seems like the new item by the truck at 0:50 = a space elevator part, which the pioneer hops over at 9:24.
Is that first new item on the belt mentioned at the start just the spitter remains?
the symbol on the gas canister
could be a toxic symbol
At the 14 second mark it does look (at the top left) that there will be some kind of wall hole as it appears to be off center to the door below it. Unless they are clipping.
That's a central wall whole, but the elevator is slightly further away from the wall so there's a conveyor going into it, making the perspective look a touch off
Posted as much of that new building as possible in your Discord
It looks like the mk 3 miner in the back have 2 separate vertical lines coming out of it, which would solve the issue of it being too good
Looks like the new building is the old unreleased quantum encoder, certainly in terms of size and shape.
The gold pipe ties into the gold skin that was used in the hub for a really long time. and there is that golden cup + golden factory cart so it would make sense if we could use gold more.
just hope we get a CHROME skin too... I would have so many chrome pipes all over the place...
Those "ingots" could be a new model for solid biomass. It never made much sense to fuel the chainsaw (and jetpack later) with massive logs of OSB (oriented strand board). A smaller model looks better to me.
12:20 It looks like the Portal Games. It really must be a Portal thing.
Before the Logo shows up, it looks like a solar system with a Sun and Planets and the O looks like a star galaxy
The thing u thought was a teleporter us def a teleporter cuz they added the superposition oscillator a long time ago which says its used for teleporting and it makes sense to finally add a use for it same with the same ore so i believe the pink stuff is from sam ore
"but surely, we'll know soon enough."
FALSE!!!
Looks for me more like a galaxy. The toilet would more direct me to a wormhole.
Fart rock nodes for hydrogen sulfide gas? Irl it's used in petroleum processing, wastewater treatment, and mining, so maybe we need it to flush the amazing new toilet or to mine a node now, a la sulfuric acid in factorio for uranium?
In the satisfactory discord there is an edited image of the hexagonal building put together!
IMHO, green liquid is not nuclear waste. Otherwise you could just dump it in a fluid buffer, and destroy the nuclear waste when removing the fluid buffer.
What if connecting buildings with conveyor belts works as power wires as well?
Yeah, I think teleportation is a given, though I'm gravely worried it will sound like toilets flushing on April 1st, 2025...
That would be so like Coffee Stain to do something like that
By chance, my first "real" try at this game put the main factory in exactly the same place.
*Hear's him say about gas being revealed by blowing up poison things* "Wait, you can blow them up? *Goes and does that on my world immediately*
That green glow in the pipe looks similar to the green glow of the Plutonium fuel rods once they have been assembled to install in the Nuclear Power station.
hmmm it could be
@@TotalXclipse I hope that doesn't mean we're going to have to deal with plutonium waste too 😱
@@simacmanus4645 would you rather keep a ton of storage containers full of plutonium waste and hope you dont have to go there and expand the capacity
The daisy chain seems legit. A few seconds later we have a view from the hub onto the daisy chain and theres no cable coming from the right side.
Time will tell :)
Could the pipe we see after sliding under the belt possibly be a mark 3 pipe? It does look larger than other pipes to me 🤔
The beam could be some sort of power transmitter/receiver from space
That first one appears to be either fabric or Spitter remains, based off the color ima go with Spitter remains
0:48 just looks like the alien drops.
Wonder if the new fluorescent liquids could be fracking liquid for a new type of miner and Sam ore could be an ingredient in making the fracking liquid
TELEPORT IS TOTALLY CONFIRMED...
The toilet teleports the waste to one of the tunnels.
No the player and items cannot be teleported.
Isn't there also a new sparks Animation for the assembler and constructors, or has it always been that way?
What if the green gas cloud is just the bug where you destroy a fart rock, and the particle effect doesn't go away?
NO item teleportation.
We have many modes of transport. I believe they do not want to add.teleportation of items to already developed systems.
if S.A.M. ore finally gets a use, I can't wait!!! Also, as an avid teleport mod user, I hope we can travel thru the new one also. lol
I think you have done a more intensive analysis of this video than they did of the Kenedy assasination in 50 years.
😂 if a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing in depth hahahah
What if the teleporter is to go up to the space station where you have to build another factory to fix it?
What if another planet is introduced, with it's own resources, hence the need for nodes realignment?
@@leventedanka6764no way, they wont make any new planet, they confirmed it.
