I agree. I heard way too many on this season saying they didn't think they were going to get married or ready. Why come on a show where the end result was to get married. Prior to coming on the show there should be preparation like ending all relationships, making sure you're healed or have had therapy to address traumas that could effect a marriage, make sure you are financially stabled to support a marriage, make sure you're there to be a husband or wife and not there to just have a wedding.

Clay definitely joined the show to promote his business as well I doubt if any season from now on would ever be like season 1🤷🏽♀️
Great point about Amy and Johnny. That's what I said on several social media platforms. They only care about the drama and the point of the story got completely side tracked which is why Amy and Johnny felt like minor guest stars at the reunion when they should be the highlight of the show. I think too much drama is draining and would have appreciated more wholesome and fluffy moments from the ONE MARRIED couple

Yeah but I don't understand what people expect. On the other reunions whenever they didn't address the gossip or the drama everyone would be upset. Also ever since Vanessa got backlash for asking about babies she doesn't really talk about plans to start a family anymore. Not saying that's all of her questions but a lot of her questions were about what's the next step in your life? are there going to be kids? when are you going to start planning for kids?. That was literally half her questions so I don't think she knows what to say after that except how are you two doing now are you happy are you getting along with each other's families.
I’m with Cameron here. I think the show gets overshadowed by drama & reality star wannabes. It’s such a shame because the people who go on there to “get famous” take opportunities away from those who genuinely want love & want to get married. I wish the casting folks could do more background checks on these people. Personally, I LOVE a good ‘old love story. That’s why I watch LIB. Amy & Johnny were the reason I watched till the end honestly. I was annoyed by all the other couples. Clay couldn’t get it together, Chelsea needed to get her self esteem together before going on a reality show. I’ll give this season 5/10, (if it wasn’t because of Amy & Johnny, I’d give it 1/10)
Wishing these 2 love and peace. I'm so glad they are together, thriving and happy. He was spot on with protecting both he and his wife's mental health ❤😊
Thank you Cameron for clearing the mess people tend to speculate. Season 1 was definitely the best. And I too noticed the couple that got married never seemed to get noticed. It was definitely all the mess.
I remember watching this show when only season 1 was out. I felt like they were way more genuine than the cast in the later seasons. They will always be my favorites, they seem so real to me, and holy shii I forgot how gorgeous they both are! ❤
Cameron's 1000% correct...the first season seemed like they had the best and most sincere cast truly on the show to fall in love and get married. It's gone downhill with the 'real housewives car-crash' drama and some of us just want the sweet, sincerest interactions and the networks need to realize that viewers are numb and turned off to the 'if it bleeds, it leads..' mentality. Show us more authentic people, people with good hearts.
I say the same thing. It drives me crazy when people on here are complaining about how they’re not casting genuine ppl, and ppl are getting on LIB for drama and clout. But then when it comes to talking about Amy and Johnny, they’re like “that’s the boring couple” Like-?
They obviously need to cast contestants that have no social media presence and want to find love & pass a mental health screening/criminal background check.
I agree with Cameron. The cast members (other than Johnny and Amy) didn’t seem genuine. The reunion show was awful. It was a hate fest. I wanted to spend more time on Johnny and Amy and feeling the love, instead they spent half the show spewing on Jeremy and then they pulled up texts that Trevor wrote. What a mean spirited season. Get it together Nick and Vanessa. We tune in for love and romance not scandal and deception. People have enough of that in our lives with the way the world is. Give us a break.
