Love it !!!! The best part is YOU... sharing and just being YOU... sharing your passion and your journey with everyone. Thanks, Drake... Keep 'em coming 🤸♂
Interesting. Glad to see that you actually use something like a Scotch-Brite Scouring Pad to clean you beautiful cymbals. In your other video you mentioned sanding your cymbals. Some people may have gotten the idea that you were using 80 grit sandpaper on them (ouch). I enjoy your videos. Thanks.
I would use a professional cymbal cleaner & some lemon juice just in case I don't want to add micro scratches to my cymbals while scrubbing too hard. Very cool technique on the petina. 👍👍Interesting method tho. Thank you for your knowledge & experience. Good luck!

Nice drumming. I like the sound after patinating..

Pfft, I use an angle grinder with a grinding disc on some of my cymbals 😂 I don't have a cymbal lathe, so I gotta do what I gotta do. Works for me.
That's what I'm looking for 👍🏽👍🏻👍 but didn't have time to comment on the earlier demo video....
And 9yrs later...a squillionaire 🤙🍻

Grazie!
Hi Drake! Question: Why need for sanding? (think would remove any already-forming, natural patina...)
I believe the natural patina has some kind of protective effect on the cymbal. By removing it, it is easier to put the new patina on.

I might try this on my new Bosphorus Master 22. It’s too shiny!
Do it!!
Yayyyy
I guess i did it wrong mixing vinegar and sea salt water first together it creates a darker green patina
