Harry McCready And? I'm blind in my right eye. I can still see things moving from it. I can see shadows and light. I just can't make out what those things are. So I imagine Stevie is something the same, but in both eyes. It all depends on how much damage occurred to the optic nerve and many other factors. If I see a ball or something coming at me from the right I can catch it. I just don't know what it is. I can play darts to a county level, and I have to base my throw off my right eye. There are different levels of blindness.

Grey glistening eyes represent blindness (which he has if you watch his rock and roll hall of fame speech). He is not faking this. Blind people are taught/trained to be aware of their surroundings through hearing, feeling, taste, and proximity. Blind people live life like us in a different font. Bless Stevie’s beautiful soul

There are so many research programs in progress currently, one for retina at Johns Hopkins University. Sight is such a precious gift from God. I pray we will soon have our retinae repaired, especially the little children.

You got little devilish imps like TMZ telling cruel blind jokes and saying they're going to toss things at him unexpectedly to see if he's really blind. I was watching the video of his R&R Hall of Fame induction and there was a close-up of his face. I noticed quite a bit of scaring and wondered to myself, "How did he get all of those scars on his face?" He answers that question in this video.

Daniel Malone If you really look at the video he was reaching out before the mic felt when Paul ran past him. Wasn't really trying to catch the mic until it fell on his arm and they still helped him at that. Singers have a monitor in their ear. And it's very easy to hear when someone bumps the mic no matter how loud it is. Look back on a interview he done with Oprah. He says that sometimes he could see blurry figures. Just not color. When you don't have one sense the other senses work really good. My ex boyfriend mother was blind and she could tell who walks in the house. She could tell who was standing by her. She can also see figures God rest her sold. Stevie is blind he's not faking. Just because he it seem he was looking at where the mic was doesn't mean he's faking. He heard it come his way. Ray Charles could hear a bird pecking at a window, and this just come from the movie it came from his mouth. That's why Jaime was talked to him before the movie came out. I'm sorry that my comment Is so long. I also worked with people who were blind. And I have a deaf son the rest of his sense work extra good. He read lips when hes not wearing his hearing aid

@@thierryherreman6286 see when it comes to that situation I thought hmmm strange maybe he can see. Then I thought about how people blind since birth feel and sense things differently. He listens and feels things to figure out what’s going on around him. Listening to others reactions. People gasp when something is falling and the people closest to the object will flinch or reach out to grab it. There’s probably other elements as well that help him but it’s not far fetched for a blind person to reach out to try and catch something that stands on its own. Now if he catches a ball being tossed to him from far away without him knowing it’s was going to happen.. then he can see lol

Chances are he can see a bit. I imagine he's about as blind as my right eye. I can see light and shadows, and I can make out movement. I can't make out any detail or colour but I can still kind of see. So he has still experienced sight to some degree, just not how normal people experience it.

You have obviously never experienced any kind of blindness. Blind doesn't mean you can't see. It just means your vision is impaired. I'm blind in my right eye, but I can still make out shadows, light and movement. There are different levels of blindness depending on damage to the optic nerve and many other factors.

Joanna Edwards Yeah watch what you say mate. I'm blind in my right eye, and I can confirm that no one who has experienced any kind of blindness would believe Stevie is faking it. I can still make out shadows, light and movement. There are different levels of blindness, depending on damage to the optic nerve and a variety of other factors. Educate yourself before spouting your opinion on a matter you know nothing about.

You'd think after 60 years you might know the name of the 'condition' that made you blind. He actually stumbles and corrects her by saying, "no, it wasn't a lack of oxygen, but it was the 'temperature' of the oxygen and that it was too warm". Really? Warm air made you and others either go blind or die? Lmao.

I'm blind in my right eye. 15 years, and I still don't know the name of what made me blind. There was a girl born the same day as Stevie, and she received the same incubation treatment. She died. He lived. Babies are very sensitive and delicate compared to grown humans. And there is no point in writing a comment just because you think no blind person will ever see it, because one has.
