Incredible amount of work goes into not only physical graft but actually making a video on top old skool Audi lovely cars those trims came out lovely and the paint looks 👌🏻👌🏻
Morning Jody, sorry I missed a couple of videos.... Just catching up! Lovely result on what is nearly a classic car! Stunning car back then, still stunning today, thanks to Jody's Gyeonizing ! 👍👏
Cheers @grahambell9831, I have been a bit quite on socials lately ( its been so busy and have struggled to pick up the camera but I hope to get back to making some more videos soon ) 👍
@cornwallcarcare8959 Hi Jody 👋 Thanks for the reply 👍......Good to read your nicely busy......so business and customers have to be the priority first.......us suscribers wait patiently 🙂. Have a great week Jody! 🍻
Love these older Audi’s but what makes this video is your enthusiasm for it and the results are brilliant. Subscribed now and looking forward to more, this car looks great now.
We just picked up a 91 year Mazda MX5 Mk1 South of London last week and drove it back to Scotland and will be trying to bring it back to life. I got the wheels and tyres cleaned protected and dressed and will be speaking to my Guru next week on what route we should go down for paint prep and protection. I hope we can get it somewhere close to the standard of that car which looks stunning.
Thanks @howardgregory3888, I will try and get some interior details recorded ( I normally leave the interiors till last and just want to get the detail finished and forget to record them ) but I will try in the future. 👍
Thank you @patrickvennard838 Gyeon CanCoat Pro has to be one of my favourite products of all time due to the fact it can be used on pretty much every surface, I have this on my test vehicle and its been 11 months so far and still going strong 👍
Thanks @Clint_L, in some of my previous vlogs I go into why I do this and to keep it simple I decant CanCoat Pro into a coating bottle and apply it like a traditional coating as there is a chance of overspray from the pump trigger landing on somewhere I have already been and could cause high spots if I miss it ( plus I like doing it this way ) Hope that helps 👍
@@cornwallcarcare8959 perfect explanation thanks. I love that idea. I’ll give it a try. I didn’t see it in previous videos explaining. I apologise. The spray application doesn’t work for me. This method would wirk❤️❤️ Thanks for answering. I wasn’t calling you out. Was just curious. I am a huge fan of your work.

Blast from the past this one! My old man used to sell these new when I was a kid back in the day. Lovely cars. And a great job as usual!
Cheers @LoudModeOn definitely a detail to remember as I probably wont see another one of these 👍

Thank you @cdg3818 very much appreciated 👍
Bleddy splann job that Jo, now that Audi is a proper Gentleman's bruiser of a motor car!!
Cheers @TheoriginalSpaceboy it certainly is and was a pleasure to detail 👍

Thank you @johnbrown3951I'm sure your Guru will make it look stunning 👍
Ace, lovely piece of nostalgia there, what a long car eh!
I didn't look that big in the pictures that he sent me and when it turned up I couldn't believe how big it was 🤣🤣👍
The car looks fantastic. What did you use to prep the trim for the coating?
Cheers @haroldcottam8174 anything that has a coating applied will have a minimum of Gyeon Prep or a panel wipe then Gyeon Prep 👍
Hi jody, another top job from you, what process did you use on the chrome/ aluminium trim. Thanks.
Thank you @cardetailingandvaletingsol4557 I completely forgot to film it but it was GYEON Metal Polish and then CanCoat Pro over the top 👍
Any chance of some interior details? Love the Audi (I would have got the rust done before having it detailed!)
Thanks @howardgregory3888, I will try and get some interior details recorded ( I normally leave the interiors till last and just want to get the detail finished and forget to record them ) but I will try in the future. 👍
Great job I did not know Gyeon did a pro version of can coat how long do you think it will last?

Looking great. But curious. At 7:26 you appeared to be applying a traditional coating and not Can Coat? Just trying to understand
