It's absolutely crazy that here in the states a 16yo can get his/her motorcycle license and in the very same day walk into a dealership and ride home on a brand new 1290 Superduke or Ducati V4-R or ??? Which is why MY motorcycle insurance is so F'n expensive 😒.
I passed my test on a honda c70 step thru and I could of gone out and bought a kawasaki 1300cc the same day after passing test a c70 doesn't even have a clutch lever either mental
Does anyone know if this is like a de-rated 150cc engine of the ones they have overseas? Or do regulations actually forbid physical 150cc engines in 125cc class motorcycles?
Shiznutsz no actually the 150 is the oversized of this version. The engineering department back at suzuki hq designed the baby gixxer to be marketed i. European beginner regulation of 125/11kw engine. The 150 was extrapolated from there. Altough it is true that the basic of the engine was from a 150 cub/underbone that was already produced from 2016. And that cub engine was developed from another sport faired bike 150 of the 90s. So a little bit roundabout on its history.

What's up with the cc switch out? Different laws for U.K. Europe and U.S.A.? Thank you guys for your time.
