I love that rather than competing, the acapella bands co-operate with each other. Rob Lundquist of Home Free is a huge movie fan - he's also one of the best whistlers around today. Tim Foust helped Geoff with his bass and Geoff helped Home Free with an arrangement. Tim & Austin have sung with another acapella group "Straight No Chaser" (if you haven't seen them - they're terrific!). Home Free has sung with The Oak Ridge Boys & Alabama among other legends.
Layne is notorious for his carrots. He would often tease J None, coming close to him holding a carrot up to his face like a long nose. There one video (I'm sure someone can come up with the title I can't recall right now) where he's holding the carrot to his nose and Geoff comes up and almost casually bites the end off and walks away. Poor Layne looked so confused.
Great reaction Flash. Voiceplay did... Mission Jingle Bells... in 2019. Jingle bells sung to the mission impossible theme. While being tied up. They won a "Best Shorts" award for it that year. Geoff Castelucci will be releasing his new video tomorrow, Saturday, August 5th at noon est.... Folsom Prison Blues. He rented a whole freaking prison for this one. Voiceplay will probably release their new video next Friday, August 11th. Make sure you watch to the very end. They have a little surprise after a brief pause. What's better than 4 drunken sailors? 6 drunken sailors of course. This one is alot of fun.
The one they’re coming out with soon is an absolute riot. Make sure to have time in your schedule to watch it. Jose Rosario Jr is back and it’s Pirates! They have a second guest artist in this one - his name is becky and he used to sing with them back when they were 4:2:Five. He didn’t get to sing much but the video simply would not be the same without him!
First, good luck to you with your school endeavor. That's awesome. Something you can always count on with VoicePlay is details. They do not skimp on details whether it's visually or audibly. In this video, I don't even want to guess how many times I had watched it until I realized that during the Beetlejuice theme, when Layne has the "metal plate" over his mouth, his beatboxing all of a sudden sounds distant/muffled.....like his mouth is covered. Ugh....these guys. Um....it is not fair to ask me my favorite Rocky movie. That's too much pressure for me to have to deal with.

You may or may not know that Rob Lundquist has a movie podcast with a friend of his, so he was the perfect person to do movie songs with. Also, VociePlay and Home Free were on the same season of The Sing-Off. All the performances from both groups are on TH-cam.

ACA is just an abbreviation of acapella. Not a thing called the ACA. There is a lot going on in the background. But then there always is with VP. You need hsarp eyes to keep up with it all. Eli is also a voice actor when he isn't sinsging. I've never see a Rocky movie.
