Regarding the “dip”, if any note was extraneous it would be the note immediately before the drop. The lower note actually completed the chord to a nice resolve. Without it that phrasing would have sounded incomplete. Personally I liked it and I’m not one for extraneous riffs and runs.

Poor Eli. He saw it coming and tried to warn the others, but they weren't paying attention. And after he worked so hard to get them all out of wherever they were banished to last time 🤣

I don't know why people think that thigs like this are just for Halloween. I guess that for a lot of of Americans Halloweenis such a big thing. And I guess you're not familiar with classical music either. These characters are called the Grundels. Grundel is a noun that means a small, ugly, or unpleasant person or thing. It's also another name for the chad, a type of fish. Also a slang term for the perineum. Make of that what you will.

You can see the names (and composers) of all the song in the medley pinned in the description. You enjoyed Bach, Beethoven (including Beethoven's 5th Symphony), Mozart, Grieg, Offenbach, and many others--including (gasp) opera (Bizet). Laine arranged this and he's simply a genius. I grew up listening to (and playing) classical music and I simply love this!

I loved this one 🥰🥰 Doing Layne’s part the flame goes orange you also see a hint of green , mix them together and it’s like a carrot 😂 someone also pointed out his horns was now green , I didn’t even see that little Easter egg till it was pointed out 😂 green horns and orange skin , Carrot lord just had to show himself in such a clever way 🥰🤣

Expect the unexpected with VP. 😆I'm completely with you, it's unbelievable and great, how they always surprise. With their choice of song/s or technically/musically. And as you said, it's great that they switch genres and in some way the “seriousness” with every project. Whether they embody crazy acting Grundles, warbling classical melodies or approach iconic metal songs and upgrade them by vocal technique and vioLayne - VP never gets boring. 🤩

"Once Upon a Time" maybe? This was genius just like the "HotMK" and so much fun! Just for a fun fact that was Layne imitating Geoff's voice being stolen and nailed it. Layne hinted there may be another way on down the road but Geoff said nope there won't, so I figure they'll do more.. ...and incidentally I Can't wait for you to see Geoff's next release I think you are gonna love it!

Yeah, I always thought that Goku Black felt like a rehash of the Captain Ginyu body-snatching bit, too. Would’ve been better if Zamasu used his time/dimensional travel ring to go to an alternate timeline on Earth and end up finding baby Goku before Grandpa Gohan. Thusly, Goku would have never fallen into that ravine and hit his head, and remained Kakarot. He would be trained under Zamasu rather than Master Roshi, calling Zamasu “Father”, conquering Earth as originally intended by the Saiyans, and later killing Frieza and taking over his empire in the name of his corrupted Kai master. And as for explaining Zamasu’s mental instability and downfall into evil a bit more interestingly, we could say he was corrupted by a certain outside force that began to skew his views and alter his natural purity as a Kai. That force would be the evil that was scrubbed from Kid Buu’s soul before being reincarnated as Uub by King Yemma. Where did that evil go? It could be accidentally absorbed by Zamasu for reasons that could be fleshed out later. Would kinda be cool if Zamasu ended up being an alternate version of Janemba with this concept, too. Might be a good explanation to why he can do such cosmically unnatural things, and why a Saiyan army under someone as powerful as an evil Emperor Goku would be too scared to challenge him and instead fall in line in his quest to dominate all timelines. Maybe we could even have an alternate version of Vegeta that was sent to Earth and trained under Master Roshi instead of Goku to be the one that helps the mainline cast defeat Kakarot? I don’t know… I just didn’t think the official Zamasu arc in Super was very well executed and could’ve used better elements.

But then, they all are. :) I like that (I think, I could be wrong) while you're not a vocal coach or anything, you seem to know quite a bit about music, how it's structured, various terms, etc. Or at least, you don't go overly technical on those aspects for those of us who aren't that musically inclined. Some people might quibble on occasion about your pauses; I don't. During her live reactions, the followers of another reacter I watch, Kazandra Brock, they keep track of how many pauses she makes, as a positive thing. :) The only quibble I have at all, and it's a minor one, is that if you, once you pause, go back ten seconds or so, it gets the viewer (or me, at least) back "into" the video along with you. As I said, that's a minor one. It is always a great thing (though you did this reaction two years ago, I'm just coming across your channel now) to see people discover/react to Voiceplay. Voiceplay is my favorite acapella group, followed by a tie between Pentatonix and Home Free. Home Free just got a new singer, because Austin Brown left the group.

I suspect you will enjoy this one! This one makes me think of Blade Runner. It's really good. I understand what you are saying because I had much the same reaction to Sound of Silence by Geoff. I've held Simon & Garfunkel in such high regard that it seemed almost sacrilige. But after a year of listening I told myself to put S&G up on the shelf to protect it and then love hearing Geoff do it again.

Jackson was the original artist to the best of my knowledge. Not sure who chose to do this cover, but possibly J,None as it was his farewell song when leaving to sing with the US Navy music section. He now sings bass with the Sea Chanters.
