Here for this!! I also highly recommend the plated prisoner series … book 1 is not great (you don’t like the main character bc she is weak and pathetic) but you have to stick with it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

ACOTAR was not as fantastic as i thought it was going to be. The writing is sublar. Not bad but nothing great. The story had so mamy plot holes. The charcters were a bit self indulgent. Saying all of that, it was a good book. The kind you get for a guilty pleasure. Its the reality tv show compared to GOT show. You know?
I crave steoner writing and stronger story lines. Only series ive found is cruel prince by holly black. Amazing writing. Havent been able to find aomething similar 😢

Girl you just made my night! There are two more books from the crown of nyaxia series I have to read?! I just thought it was serpent and wings of the night and ashes of the star cursed king. Also can we talk about how she seems to write or at least publish so fast? Yet with other authors like SJm you are waiting a year for the next book which seems fair to me!

I trust the recommendations of anyone who starts with ACOTAR. I wasn’t actually going to read Crescent City (I just finished TOG and hated a lot about the ending. Was a major disappointment as someone who read ACOTAR first) but you saying Crescent City is one of your favs has convinced me to read it… and all of the rest of these 😂
Also, wtf is a bully romance? Just like… an enemy to lovers but where the enemy is kind of a bully? Like Rowan in TOG if Aelin wasn’t giving it back to him just as strongly lmao
You should read Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac series. It takes place 5 years before Zodiac Academy and it is only 5 books. You get to see Gabriel as a student at Aurora Academy. It is reverse harem too.

i struggle to decide what my favourite genre is but fantasy romance is definitely in my top 3 it's incredible
i have yet to read a court of silver flames, i know it's amazing but i saw a spoiler that made me upset about a certain character's actions and i keep pushing it back because of it BUT i definitely want to read it at some point since everyone says it's so stunning
in less than a year, carissa broadbent became a favourite author for me and that is thanks to you! i read daughter of no worlds because of your recommendation and now i cannot say enough great things about her books 🥺

Forwarning the court of thorns and roses series is a good series, but it is very sad throughout and metions SA often.
For thoughs of us a bit more sensitive to these things just be careful. It has happy moments and an over happy ending.
However, a lot of the book is sad and at least to me it mentions and exsplains the pain, suffering, and heartaches a lot more then the happy and beautiful moments.
