I'm so happy to see Radiance on top! It's definitely my favourite. That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon is so ridiculous and fun and I adore that entire series!!!
I don’t usually get along with things described as fun so I’m intrigued to see how this will go since it seems to be coming out top 😂
Burn for me gets my vote! Ilona Andews is actually a husband and wife writing duo, which I think adds a really interesting perspective to their books and characters. I've yet to read a book by them I didn't love! ❤️🔥
I loved The Wisteria Society For Lady Scoundrels! It's so whimsical and witty, I would definitely recommend giving it a try
I’m voting for Burn For Me by Ilona andrews
(I’ve read some of the other series by them and really enjoyed them! Haven’t gotten to this series yet).
I’m due a Radiance reread. It is amazing!
If I could vote multiple times they'd all be for Burn for Me! The first 3 books are so good but I think the 2nd 3 books (focused on another sister) are my favorite! Love Ilona Andrew's, it's a must read!
Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews!!!! Hidden Legacy is one of my FAVORITE series. I reread it all the time.
I vote for the wisteria society of lady scoundrels. Am also intrigued about that one 😅
I’m still baffled, I just thought it was historical fiction 😂
I love this video!!! I've never heard of a portion of the honorable mentions but my vote it Kiss of Steal or Burn For Me (I've heard it's a romantasy staple). Wisteria Society is actually on my tbr tho! ❤🔥
I binged the entire Hidden Legacy (Ilona Andrews) series in a week and can confirm it is SO FUN. I started the Innkeeper books right after that and read the first three in three days. Idk what they put in those books but they're addictive.
Great list! I need to read Radiance for sure. I loved Serpent and the Wings of Night!
Im just excited to see you reading any of these stories! But I’m most excited for your thoughts on Radiance!
Apparently I’m behind the hype on this one 😂
So many of these are on my TBR!
Lore & Lust sounds great, so I‘m voting for that one 😊 My favourite book out of all of the ones you mentioned is Bridge Kingdom. I‘m currently reading the third book in the series and it‘s amazing 🥰
whenever i’m in the mood for fantasy romance, i try to think of books you’ve recommended, but now i’ve got the perfect video compilation to refer back to! 😂❤️🔥❤️🌶 i’m not very well versed in romantasy, i’ve only read ACOTAR from this list haha but have many on my tbr!
A handy dandy guide ready for all your needs 😂🫶🏻 join us on the dark side
can’t wait for the vlog! 🍓 I’m curious to see if the ‘i got drunk’ book is any good!
Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels! Magic, mayhem and laughter. If Monty Python were a romantic comedy in fantasy book form. I just finished the third book and they all made me laugh!
i’m not sure how you’d feel about lore and lust but i really love it so would be intrigued to see you read it!
The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels 💜 Love that series! It makes me so giddy that that's on the list. 🤩
I’d recommend you reading That Time I Got Drunk… 😅 a lot of these series are high stakes and pinning so you might enjoy a sweet and spicy comedy romantasy
I don’t usually like comedic books so we’ll see how this goes 👀
I was so surprised that acotar wasn't no.1 😂 I'm definitely going to make my way through this list! I read Serpent and the Wings of Night recently and it's a new favourite!
Reign and Ruin by JD Evans is so good. I haven't read Blood Mercy, but it sounds like there might be some similarities based on the fantasy/romance/political maneuvering balance.
HOW did Fourth Wing not make the list?!? It is INCREDIBLE!!!
It is, though many don’t class it as romantasy (myself included) 🫶🏻
@@AFrolicThroughFiction - why would you not class it as romantasy? I’m curious - it has smut/romance and fantastical elements. I guess the real question is what are the qualifying criteria to be romantasy?
@@erinfox2671 it’ll differ for everyone, but romantasy to me is a fantasy book where the romance is either the main plot or equal importance/emphasis to any other plot line, the romance being the main driving force of the plot. Fourth Wing while including a romance, is still largely about the dragon riding training, and the romance isn’t a motivation for much. It may end up more romantasy as the series continues, but this first book for me doesn’t quite cut it! Still a favourite of mine though 🙌🏻
I vote for “Burn For Me” by Ilona Andrews
Love! I'm really feeling the Romantasy vibe at the moment so this is just what I needed to get stuck in!
Ahhh perfect timing! 🫶🏻🌶️
@@AFrolicThroughFiction ❤🔥 My vote is 'That Time I Got Drunk And Saved A Demon' 🔮
@@AFrolicThroughFiction Radiance is going straight up on my TBR!
I vote for Burn for Me! I've been on the verge of picking that series for so long, would love to hear your thoughts on it.
I’m voting for the Wisteria Society for Lady Scoundrels!
Radiance : the flag bearer of healthy relationships !
Voting for Burn For Me!
I've added so many books on my TBR 😅 Voting for The Wisteria Society For Lady Scoundrels. I haven't read it but the name is *chef's kiss*
❤️🔥🌶️
I would love to see you read Lore & Lust (it's a queer male/male vampire relationship!!)--I've been super interested in it recently but since it's a little less well-known, none of my romantasy booktube girlies have read it yet!
Honestly would read it purely for the cover 😂 it’s stunning and I want it
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
❤️🔥🌶️💜📚
❤🔥❤🔥
I am voting for Lore & Lust
Have to say Lore & Lust
Great video and look forward to follow up vlog already
Will get it up asap!
Well since I was one of the ppl who
Suggested Lore & Lust the first time around that’s what I’ll vote for now as well!
I'd love to see you read Radiance and What Lies Beyond the Veil because I'm intrigued by both and trust your opinion!
Both will defo be read asap!
I’d be taking recommendations for any sapphic and/or queer romantasy if anyone has them!
None of my recommendations for this are out yet so hopefully commenters can help 😂🫶🏻
Burn for me ! Looooooved that serie
i think people recommend bridge kingdom with ACOTAR bc sarah said it inspired her!
the sons of rome series is an amazing fantasy/ paranormal romance series & it has a character who's a necromancer (later on introduced) it's also found family/ grump sunshine/ hate everyone but u
Lore and Lust for that cover! 😍🌶
It’s so beautiful!
Burn for me is amazing highly recommended!
❤️🔥 🌶
❤🔥
The drunk Demon book sounds entertaining ❤
Yessss Radiance. ❤❤❤ London Steampunk by Bec McMaster is my vote. I love her Legends of the Storm series as well
I’ve got to choose ‘that time I got drunk and saved a demon’ I’ve had it on my kindle TBR for so long and I haven’t gotten round to it yet!!
I hope we both love it!
The Wisteria Society For Lady Scoundrels please :) I'd love to know what you think, I found it to be a wild ride.
Burn for Me, by Ilona Andrews....love all the series they write
I vote the Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels
Honestly I nearly dnf'ed Gild but fortunately I didn't and then read the 2nd book in the series which was a-ma-zing and I am now debating if this series or the acotar series is my favourite fantasy romance series of all time aha!❤
I am so pleased to see Grace Draven and Raven Kennedy at the top I loved both of these
🔥
Ashleigh, I highly recommend the Dark-Hunters series by Sheryline Kenyon.❤️🔥 I had read couple of Dark-Hunters. Some of them are good and bad,but I had enjoyed couple of them. The Dark-Hunters are about immortal Vampire Hunters are living in New Orleans and Greek take on Vampires in those books. I love family dynamic and their relationships in those books. Those books filled with action-packed and very liable characters. And some of the books had focused on Dragons, Demons, were-people, monsters and Gods besides Vampires and Vampire Hunters. Dark-Hunters series are worth-reading.
I didn't get on with book 1 of Fortuna Sworn. Perhaps I need to give book 2 a try. Carissa Broadbents War of Lost Heart series is my favorite series ever. Definitely recommend giving those a try.
I vote Lore & Lust because I hadn't heard of that one.
Let me tell you how happy I was to see Radiance on top
I'm putting my vote in for Bec McMaster! She was the first author I heard use the term "romantasy" and I really think her books will check all your boxes. I re-read the London Steampunk books every couple years, usually as comfort reads.
I do love The Wisteria Society too. And it's def fantasy: the Wisteria ladies are sky pirates who fly their houses around England, stealing stuff and battling each other. The enemy is an overly dramatic Byronic hero who has a flying monastery. But it plays with classic literature and has a total Monty Python vibe, as someone else described in the comments. It's not as classic a romance tone as Bec McMaster's books, but still totally wonderful.
so many good reads! i am interested in deal with the elff king. i love fantasy but i really want to read more fantasy romance, becouse i have read only few and i loved them so so much, like i feel this might be my favourite book genre. i prefer stand alones though becouse i never finishes series ahaha
my vote goes to Lore and Lust because it is the only LGBT+ recommendation and I would like to know if it is good as someone who wants to join in on reading romantasy but highly prefers to read about LGBT+ characters and romances
I'm voting Burn for Me ❤
I vote for That Time I Got Drunk
The extra 5 books makes me curious what the results of an underrated/under known romantasy poll would be.
I adore Bec McMaster's London Steampunk series, so I vote for that one! Burn for Me is also fantastic.
ACOTAR will forever be my favorite Romantasy of all time (it's the first one I read and will always have a special place in my heart for that reason), but if I was voting I'd probably also choose another book/series because I feel as if it's almost "the blueprint" if that makes sense? I'd probably vote for Carissa Broadbent's Crowns of Nyaxia series, though Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros would be my close second right (SUPER surprised no one voted for that one lol).
I'm voting for Burn For Me, I don't know any of the ones in the list tho' some great recommendations there though. 🌶
omg i vote londom steampunk that sounds so good!
Gotta love a steampunk vibe 👀
I’m voting for the I Saved A Demon one.
I used to be into romance books but after being stung a lot in real life romance I stopped reading them tbh 😂 maybe I’ll pick one up soon 😊 love your videos ❤
I used to avoid them for the same reason! Now I’ve just come to let the hopeless romantic run rampant 😂
I’ve owned Radiance foreverrrr.. and now I have even more incentive to pick it up soon! ❤️🔥🌶️
Buddy read? 👀
@@AFrolicThroughFiction oh I’d be so down for that!
❤️🔥 That Time I Got Drunk ….. Definitely have to hear you voice your thoughts on that one😂
Should I be worried 👀😂
🌶
My vote is The Wisteria Society for Lady Scoundrels!
Voting for that time I got drunk and saved a demon 🤣 would love to know if it's worth a read 😊
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon sounds fun. So my vote goes to that one 😃
🫶🏻🙌🏻
Lore and Lust ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved A Demon!
Voting for That Time i got drunk & saved a demon ❤🔥🌶
My vote is That time I got drunk and saved a demon!
Burn for me is good
Burn For Me!!!
🥵 🌶️
Lore and lust!
🫶🏻
I haven’t read so many of these 😢
Burn for Me!
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
That Time I Got Drunk And Saved a Demon - just because the name itself is epic.
I just finished Powerless by Lauren Roberts and it's a YA fantasy romance (so good)! This is moving away from fantasy romance, but I'm obsessed with Aurora Reed's most recent release (Spearcrest Saints). I'd recommend it if you're in the mood to read an academic rivals-to-lovers/forbidden romance book filled with plenty of pretty words.
My vote: That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon ❤🔥🌶
Academic rivals to lovers you say? Snooping RIGHT NOW 👀
@@AFrolicThroughFiction Please do! I'd love to hear your insight on it if you end up picking it up. I absolutely adore all her work so far and the series is expected to be finished by the end of this year (ahhh!)
Wisteria Society gets my vote!
Kiss of steel by Bec McMaster
I LOVED That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf!!
(also these are definitely smutty books. cozy fantasy, but smut)
As much as i love the word yeet, I don’t know how I feel about it being in a book title 😂
No shade, but that "Burn for me" cover gave me a stroke 🙃😬
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
It’s horrible 😂 I couldn’t find a better one on goodreads
My vote: London Steampunk series by Bec McMaster
Noted! 🥰🫶🏻
I preferred the spin-off series 'London Steampunk: The Blue Blood Conspiracy' though, and would definitely recommend giving it a go as well. The camaraderie between the characters is great and I think the series is stronger overall that the original.
Just hear to steal romance recs haha
I'm voting for the Wisteria Society and Drunk and Saved a Demon!
I adore Ilona Andrews, they are one of my fav author pairs, but I wouldn’t count their work as romantic fantasy since it’s set in modern day. Maybe Urban fantasy or even paranormal romance, but to me at least romantic fantasy is a very low/no tech setting, which Ilona Andrews is very much not
i vote for that time i got drunk 😉
Burn for me..
kiss of steel by Bec McMaster

That time I got drunk and saved a demon.
