    Perfect timing, thanks so much Emil! I watched your videos during high school and now I'm in med school. Your MMI interview book is invaluable! Its the only reason I was able to ace my interviews. Love your work so much bro!!

    great content I love your videos so much!!!!! also random question but I recently had a very poor below average methods test result (im in year 12) and I am trying to get in med but now I feel really set back and upset, would you have any tips on how to deal with these setbacks?

    • @EmilEddy
      @EmilEddy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely really tough. First it’s a good idea to think about why that particular setback makes you feel bad (for example, does it make you question your ability?). Then it’s a good idea to think about why the setback occurred in the first place. Why did you do bad? Why did you think you would do well? Reflection is the key to improvement 😊😊

    How do you manage your expenses?

    • @EmilEddy
      @EmilEddy  ปีที่แล้ว

      In the grand scheme of things I'm fairly lucky, so I might not be the best person to ask (but I have had times where I struggled) - managing expenses to me is just about reducing spending and increasing your income as much as possible. If you're really struggling financially, there will be a degree of sacrifice you need to make - either sacrificing how much you can go out to work or sacrificing studies to make sure you can make ends meet. Understanding that and changing your mindset slightly to embrace the challenge can be useful. Much much easier said than done. Also, there are a lot of scholarships available at university, so try your best to apply for as many as possible. Be really proactive with looking for jobs and improving your CV. There's much more nuance to be had that I can't really convey through a comment but I think those things are good starting points
