    Would be amazing if you could go through the setup of a chtMultiRegion case with multiple solid and fluid regions! When it comes to only solid simulations I would not really use openfoam so a solid/fluid case would be nice:) Grüße!

      Yes please. I also want to ask the same things. Can you please make video about conjugate heat transfer with thermal resistances.

      Yes that'd be really helpful. How to splitmesh with respect to cellZones and so... When i do that there are always some extra "domains" which ade created by that command splitMeshRegions -cellZones

    Thank you, I have started learning openFoam several years ago using your videos! Very useful!

    Ah yes, much-awaited thermal simulation has finally arrived on youtube. Yes sir, please do a temperature evolution using this BC for any solver you want to. But please show us how can we derive a T field via externalWallHeatFluxTemperature BC and its 4 subs as well . any 1 of it also will be highly appreciated. thank you.

      Ok, I see a need for a second set of live streams.

    Thanks, this video showed up just as I was wondering how much pain and suffering I was asking for if I wanted to do some ground loop heat pump simulations. Looks much less painful than I thought!

    Looking forward to a good fluid->solid->air heat exchanger example. In comsol it's easy to set up, but it's hell for convergence as air, aluminium and water have such widely varying properties. Hope to use OpenFOAM to give me a lot more flexibility and maybe calculate all the regions seperately for flow and thermal and merge them in the end.

    I am highly interested in the thermal simulation in OpenFOAM because it serves as the fulcrum of my research work.

    Sir please make tutorial video on fuel spray (reactive/non reactive).

    • @OpenFOAMJozsefNagy
      @OpenFOAMJozsefNagy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe I could add this to a second live stream about combustion. I will definitely send out a poll on Monday and if people like the idea, I will do this after I finish the current one.

    Hi Jozsef, that's amazing video. If it is possible, can you create a combustion series for youtube, please?

      @OpenFOAMJozsefNagy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm, that may be a good idea for a second series of live streams. I will send out a poll about this on Monday.

    Really nice, I look forward to more detailed content on heat transfer. Radiative heat transfer simulations are very much needed.
    And also if anything related to conducting heavy duty simulations on GPU, would be quite helpful

      @@OpenFOAMJozsefNagy thats great. Any tutorial or informational video on the same would be great. Rapid CFD is an opensource OpenFOAM derived software for GPU computation. If possible any video regarding GPU computing, how to do it on any gpu, would be one of a kind and very informative

    I have tried implementing a constant heat flux on the wall using the fixedGradient bc but on execution I am not getting the specified value in my results. What exactly should i be doing to obtain a constant heat flux value on my walls?

    Thank you very much for this and all the videos that you made.
    Could you also do a videos tutorial about the laplacianFoam? O would appreciate it )))

    What kind of solver would we use to simulate the multiphase fluid flow with heat transfer between gas and liquid. For Example, modelling a rocket engine with thin film cooling on the walls.

    • @OpenFOAMJozsefNagy
      @OpenFOAMJozsefNagy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no such solver. This is something which has to be implemented. If the thin film is really thin and you only consider the heat resistance then you can assume it to be a thicknesLayer.

    Thanks for the helpful video. I'm looking for a way to simulate the laser melting of solid powder particles. Is this something that can be done here?

    Sir how we get velocity contour in openfoam paraview .Also how we see both cross section (inlet, outlet top bottom) and contour (pressure , velocity) at a time???
