Darktide Psyker | 4 Psykers Bully An Entire Armored Heretic Brigade | Auric Maelstrom C-I-VI

I'd like to make the case that 4 Psykers are arguably the easiest team setup to bring to this particular Auric Maelstrom. Even without Smite, there's so much control and damage available in the Psyker's toolkit that covering most of the potential Psyker toolkit across 4 people makes this very comfortable.
I brought a Surge Staff mostly because I had Ranged Scab kills left in my contracts but this setup managed to seriously bully everyone with armor due to stacking the various damage boosts available between high peril, high DD stacks, and the Surge Staff's Warp Nexus blessing.

Is 3x30 toughness regeneration speed just meta? At least on classes that doesn't have an abundance of toughness gain from the tree?

I don't really think too hard on meta with curios but rather just my preferences. In the case of Psyker there's enough toughness replenishment from the top 3rd of the tree that involves warp kills or peril so I stack 3 30's just to make the most of that for my playstyle.
So the thing about curios if you stack the same thing across multiple curios is that the benefits are multiplicative instead of additive. In my case the 3 30%'s would total up to 50.7% toughness regeneration. While it doesn't sound as crazy as a bonus 90% it's still a decent bonus effect.

Haha that’s partially the truth. I honestly do it for safety. Heavy - heavy for single target might be too slow at times, and I’m too busy greeding damage to do heavy - special in my monkey brain. Heavy light at least gives a compromise with slight stagger on the light 2’s sweep but yeah probably 60-70% Deimos brain addled
