Reward for service done as a Fatshark Private Playtester.

It's just a slight preference take. Riposte is good due to its 6s duration but depending on what you're engaging (chaff/non-mixed elites), your weapon might have enough cleave/stagger to where there's nothing to dodge even within 6s (or you engage and kill/stagger them before a dodge becomes necessary). I think they're about even with Riposte having a slight edge being 6s long (think there was a point in time where it was only 2s) but for lots of the trash that I end up either staggering or outright killing before a dodge happens, Shred *could* give me more consistent uptime.

I think they ended up swapping to dueling sword to round out our elites damage since everyone else was CC/horde/utility slanted

@@TrevorHayes I would if I was a lone psyker, I have run melee Scrier’s smite (without actually smiting) before and it’s very comfy.

@Vamp0613 I guess I kind of meant the opposite. Wasn't there someone else already running bubble in the video with you? If you're solo psyker I'd say run warp siphon bubble but if someone else is already bubbling, treat yourself to some scribers gaze, lol

@@TrevorHayes no no, I get what you’re saying. I simply erred on the safer end by adding a redundant bubble, and since it was 2 of us I figured warp siphon would’ve been excessive so I ran a hybrid setup as it was untested synergy with a party finder 4th. I’m more likely to full send melee with 3 other homies I can trust to lock in together with.

@@Vamp0613 Makes sense. I should tinker more with hybrid builds myself honestly. Probably some fun to be had there as I'm pushing 30+

I like the other mark too, if I had another melee frontliner with me for chaff work I would swap to it to do a bit more Elites damage from the H2 Stab.

Funnily enough the run this time around was playing in OCE servers. He generally plays NA West (from AU) for the player pool but for the past week while I was swamped with IRL work he was region hopping and even got his 40 clear in EU servers

Yeah, the Asia South server is dead. I have to use the Hong Kong server to find parties for Havoc.

For explosions? If you don’t have it already (assuming on pc) warpunboundtimer is a very neat mod to keep track of your safety window with the talent. Other than that, I’ve noticed that the bug’s tendency to explode with the talent comes from hitting a peril generating action too soon after hitting 100% depending on server lag. (Seems to be a buff that needs to be applied after hitting 100 but a lag with the server could give a few ms window where it isn’t on immediately)

Until you overload from it a couple times even though you have warp unbound and you give up! :,D I really hope they fix Warp Unbound in the future. I had fun with it too, but it's unreliable if you play with it for a while. You begin to distrust your own ability and especially the game, as it becomes a coin toss whether you can keep going at 100% or the game just decides to end your clutch.

@RoadRunner217 I've only had it happen once luckily, been playing it pretty regularly so I chalked it up to fatshark wanting me to alt-f4

@@RoadRunner217 I play greatword, Scryer's Gaze and Warp Unbound (and I usually fire a special projectile at 100% at the end of most gazes), and it has never happened to me for some reason. Been expecting it to happen any day now, but no. I wonder what makes it differ so much between players?

I think it's server side like lag reasons why it happens but it definitely happens coming from PC and PS5 ​@@ClayInvictus

@@diablovalentine5 That would make sense. Lag may create differences between server and clients wether the overheat happens within the grace period or not. Which totally means it's a skill issue, and that I am better than you because it never happens to me. Git gud noobz 😉

(it's getting changed once devs are back). Currently it snapshots your personal rank to the highest level that you complete with only the host going up by 1 in their selectable mission. If you weren't the host and let's say your rank was 20 but you just completed a 30, it will snapshot your personal mission to 30 on weekly reset.

@Vamp0613 ah i see, also i see lots of player their username is not showing to me. It's just full of block shape. Is there a way to fix that?

@@meytheawesomeness2892 Unless one of the language localization mods can address it, no. The blocks are when non-English alphabet characters are in a player's name.

I can’t really call him a casual but he definitely isn’t a hardcore player either so that’s the best term my feeble Emperor pilled Zealot brain had for the time.

@@Vamp0613 The fact I could even keep up shows how broken fire staff builds are, but you're welcome for the carry ;)

Zealot will have more consistent horde clear with a little more work needed for single target damage while activated. Psyker will consistently delete Elites easier than Relic Blade due to Disrupt Destiny boosting the Greatsword's already insane Finesse scaling but will have bit less sustained damage against hordes compared to an activated Relic Blade. Overall they're about even just skewed a bit stronger in one area or another.

Hey as long as a Psyker build has Psikinetic aura it’s a good build lol, and charged heavies are certainly better then Flayer. The real question is weather or not to run Perilous Combustion and Souldrinker.

Cosmetic shop rotation

@ speaking of the cosmetic shop rotation,is their a specific time it rotates or is it at random times?

Every other Thursday (or Friday depending on Time Zone) if I remember correctly.

@@Holdelta yeah it’s definitely something I’ve been contemplating (pub 30+) when I have more free time I’m just not too stressed about it since I already spent the last month and a half in testing it across its various iterations (some easier some harder) and it wouldn’t surprise me if something changes after the holidays when devs are back in office for the long haul.

Unfortunately there are malice players who spam 20 lobbies from havoc 1 so when they join your 22 with horrible gear you have no idea just how bad a player they are till you get to that ready up screen. I stopped playing havoc because playing with randoms isnt at all fun. I’ll stick to hi shock and maelstrom. Far too many horrible players getting carried for me to even remotely have fun with the added difficulty.
