Don’t forget the secondary attack. It causes major stagger and sets it up for a very damaging heavy attack. Great against the crushers as it lowers their head towards you.

Ive been playing ranged only with a surge staff and a shield and its so easy idk why it exists. Then again I feel like alot of maelstroms are rather easy compared to hi shock. Even monster special is trivialized with the right team and sometimes you have a vet who just seems to always have 17 krak grenades lol.

Holding directly opposite of the heals at the start when you drop down for the data interrogator is much better than holding near heals as you have way more cover to work with and less angles for gunners to shoot from and you can more easily kill the specials that drop down from up top.

Mid player here, I was iffy at first but I was able to be safely cornered by a bulwark, 2 maulers and a few shotgunners in a horde and demolished them. Truly vamp your builds are pretty fun!

I'd enjoy Martyrdom if chip damage through toughness wasn't a mechanic in the game.

While middling, this one actually doesn't feel that bad to me. * garbage for hordes * so I fill out my build with mostly horde-killing stuff (mainly Assail, but Trauma too; mostly Trauma gets used for stunning bigger Crusher/Bul/Mauler packs so I can safely Special-Heavy them) * kills most bigger things acceptably well with a lot of natural weakspot-swinging hits I could see an argument for emphasizing this weapon's weakspot damage so that it's a precision killer with a very high weakspot multiplier. As for the moveset, I wouldn't be against a horizontal cleave thrown in there somewhere, but I also don't think that's necessary if a weapon has things like stagger, mobility, or damage (this sword has weak stagger and only middling mobility/damage, so I do think emphasizing weakspot hits to give it higher damage would be a good improvement for it).

Yeah, Thunder Hammers need some love. Just do a pass on all the attacks to ensure there's a scenario where each is useful. For example it _seems_ like the light-overheads on Crucis could one-shot flak hordes without being too OP (since they're low-cleave attacks), and the Special-Light-Overheads might then be powerful enough to one-shot at least one type of gunners (maybe both). Self-stuns (on charged hit) could be in a better place too. This could either be (A) just backing off on the duration slightly, or (B) keeping the duration but adding a Crusher/Pmaul style explosion (so you're stunned, but now so are enemies in a radius near your impact). So just make the weapon overall more useful (and if that maybe has to come at the cost of slightly less Extreme Monster Killing, then that'd be fine honestly. Weapons can't be so extreme in their specialization, and even if they are it should never be against _monsters_ which are generally pretty rare; also Monsters do feel just a tad easy for some weapons, so I don't mind trimming back the most extreme monster-deleting options).

i just dont get why its so necessary to install all these mods to be "good" just get actually good and do it without all these mods... simple..

I didnt even know darktide had mods. Im guessing u can only use them in private lobbies with friends? I also run the recon lasgun when playing gun psyker love using the dueling sword so much that i dont care if it eats though ammo XD

Never found a graia worth using but maybe one day. Found a MK II but havent tried it with onslaught. My aim with braced autoguns in particular is far better than my aim with columnus on xbox and id love something else to shoot crushers in the face with.

This joke of a Maelstrom condition was what I had on the mission board when I got on today so I made this silly little spray build just to fool around. Onslaught helps make this gun a bullet drill against Crushers and Maulers but suffers from a general lack of accuracy and bullet cleave compared to the Agripinna Braced Autogun.

Just rehashed existing content and just like with the skulls event no special rewards, just more materials, so f*ing lazy. At least in vermintide they'd add skulls to the keep, add blood rain, red atmosphere, get a unique avatar frame for playing during the event, etc, they just don't care about darktide.

Minor inconvenience in the dark.

imo this "event" marks the end of fatshart in trying to appease darktide players, they know their game is done come next month with space marine 2 and it shows in the effort they put with each "update". very sad
