That spiky dog choker thing, I found one while walking around my local park. Didn't know what it was so I'm using it as a purse hanger.
It works great, LOL renew, reuse, recycle!
Use that paint as a tester on different materials you already have so you will know what to take on your dumpster diving that has been painted. So you will not waste your time 🙂

Those spike collars are evil and not needed as a good dog trainer will sort most issues out without using them. They are banned here in the UK x

I don't like them either but I did learn something useful about them, if you turn the spikes out it will help keep your dogs throat from being attacked. I have never used one myself but have thought about one because of having coyotes around but since I don't leave my dogs out long I just never tried them.
That bowl you got is to keep a dog from eating too fast. It has to eat around the prong things so it slows them down.

🐾🐾🐾💞🐶🐕🤟If anyone hasn't already told you Stephanie, that blue thing that you thought was a cat bowl, it is a bowl but it's used for any animal (mostly dogs)
It helps them have to slow down, instead of eating it all at once and sometimes getting sick, it helps the intake of how fast they scarf their food lol. It's actually good for puppies too, help train them young to eat slow... btw Puddy is ADORABLE and I'm already subscribed to the pups channel💖😉😁👍🤟💞 Congrats on your new addition🐶🐕🐩🐾 I can't wait to watch the pup grow up...🐾🐶🐕🤟

The spiked martingale dog collar is for larger dogs who are hard pullers. A responsible owner NEVER jerk.s a martingale, no matter if it's spiked or not. It is an excellent training collar in the hands of the proper owner.

I think that spikey collar goes on the other way round , some people use them so other dogs don't attack and go for the dogs thrusts.

Thats not what that collar is used for , they use them to train them not to pull when they pull the spikes sticks them and it hurts them , and you should see the mess it leaves the dogs neck !
@@Canuckgirl152 I used one for years on my Great Dane. I did use it to train her not to pull. She pulled on it a couple of times and she learned and like I said before she never need me to pull on it. It saved my shoulders btw. BUT even if I did have to pull on the collar the spikes aren’t sharp and can’t cut dog skin. It probably couldn’t cut your skin.
@@Canuckgirl152 when i seen them in the UK were i iam they used them to stop attacks from other dogs as young idiots train there dogs to fight as they think it makes them look hard .
@@sharonironman4547 But thats not whyy they use them , Choke and prong collars are designed to punish dogs for pulling by inflicting pain and discomfort. They can cause serious physical and emotional damage to dogs and should never be used.

The best place for that dog collar is in the bin!!! There is a difference between a dog being well trained, and a dog being terrified! A scared dog is a dangerous dog... Glad they are not used in the UK.
You might need the baby gates to keep Puddy contained in a room.

I know most people are against the prong collars but they are intended for training purposes on large breed dogs, especially pullers when walking. They’re not meant to wear as reg collar, only when training. They don’t hurt them and they are position high on the neck, not throat. The other one, is a choker collar, which I don’t like to use during walking or training because they can easily slip out of them...sadly most people don’t know that. A very good and durable harness is best choice. All collars and harnesses should fit snug, you should only be able to fit a finger under it.

That My Little Pony toy was cute, a lot of people collect them, but it got paint :( ,. Rustoleum is not cheap, these stores are wasting money and labor to ruin stuff.
The freakout about the prong collar in the comments section of this video was predictable, but the right brand of prong collar used correctly will work miracles in just minutes. It's not a long-term solution. Steph was on the right track when she was messing with it. (Steve and Steph: see your email.)

I hate the spiked collars but I have to have a choker collar on my boxer as he has escaped every other collar or harness that I have tried. He escaped one time and was gone for 6 days and it worried me to death, I thought he was dead but he made it back home, thankfully.

The torture device is called a pinch collar.We used one on our Dalmatian when she was young. It doesn't hurt the dog. It just gets their attention.

Those are two different collars. The big one is called a prong collar and the other is a choke chain with cloth inside it .

I had one for my Great Dane many years ago. She never felt me pull on it because she didn’t need it but it made parents of small children feel better when we went for walks. My girl was so big it made adults feel better when my grandkids and I took her with us to the park. I would’ve never actually used the spikes but Steph is right they don’t hurt.
I would have said the same, but I work with a dog who was a rescue, and so much fear aggression it prevented him from getting out and having a good life and this has helped a lot. It doesn't hurt him. It just gets his attention feeling like another dog taking his neck in their mouth and putting some pressure with their teeth. Its better than a "choke collar" because it will not tighten down all the way.
If you don’t know the right way to use the spike collar, yes it could hurt the dog. But the spike collars are good collars for dogs.

He just made themost beautiful resin containers, out of broken sea glass, and resin in forms. a lot like you do with cement. I think you could do a few with the broken pottery you find and the broken earrings and such, anything that would show up in resin or cement. i love the things you make, Iplan on making some small cement planters to go along my stone wall of my xmall mound in my garden.

Prongcollors are npt torture devices! I know it is contrivesial, but if they are made good and fitted to the right dog they can be a good tool for correction, heck wishe dsomeone put one on me sometimes to correct me xD Also ofc you shoud use positve reinforments also. but they can be good for some dogs
