Proudly carrying Cold Steel for over three decades now. Usually my Spartan or Scimitar, but I still have one of the Titanium Ti-Lites, and that's a great EDC too. Honestly, only problem is choosing.
Lucky you, I'm late to the Cold Steel party. I saw them in martial arts magazines decades ago but never thought about knives till two years ago when my Buck Inertia needed replacing. About a year ago I rediscovered Cold Steel, now I'm kicking myself for missing out all those years.
I'm making up for it though, I've acquired 14 within the last year 👍🔪🗡️. You must have quite the collection!
I only buy cold steel knives.7 so far. The best knives there are.

I've been meaning to pick one of these up, why oh has cold steel not sent any of these to reviewers? I am in the habit of watching multiple reviews on knives before I buy them, and so is a large chunk of the knife/EDC community.

that's really nice...while i understand the design reason of the nub, i would love it to not be so nubby and more like a choke up spot...the engage was a little too big for me but this seems just right...

This knife is so freaking awesome!!!! Love that it’s Viking inspired and Cold Steel just keeps making these badass knives that cannot be beat.
I don’t know of any other knife company that can compete with Cold Steel. Other companies have steel that isn’t so great and bend and break easily. Not Cold Steel. The blades never bend or break and will never fail. Most reliable knives I’ve ever owned. I would love to get my hands on a Karve!!! Keep up the awesome work Stick and Lynn. A folding Sax knife. I'm intrigued.
have 2 original spectres with the g10 scales and san mai3 blades. i am very happy they brought it back!!!!!!! absolutely my favorite knife. i edc one and safe queen the other!!! i actually have the big 5 from cold steel. the custom series 5. spectre, caledonian edge, hatamoto, black sable, the talon. all nib. plus a natchez bowie in san mai 3 with a dundee rig sheath. the original cold steel products are the best!!!!!!!
Everytime I think my pocket is making a recovery a new knife comes out. Lately, it's almost constant (the season) that all these companies are putting out new,good stuff.

I currently own over 30 Cold Steel blades and canes and swords. I own the very first master Tonto that came out in inside my way back when through the present where I own a couple of S 35 V Nives that I have duplicate from their previous iteration. You might say I am a Cold Steel fan boy.
I appreciate the fact that one of the things that you guys have done is gone to more premium steals and does I understand the added cost. Just means I’ve got to save up longer before I buy.
This knife looks cool, I am a Vik , kind of guy I own several Viking swords, a couple of saxes and some other small style knives. This one is gonna be on my list to purchase regardless of whether I win one or not.

Well done CS and Stick ! I always wanted to have a smaller version of my beloved Frenzy. So the Karve does not meet exactly the Kabutawari (helmet breaker) blade-style of the Frenzy, but Seax is so useful for a lot of tasks. I think the viking inspired all black Karve will go well together with my blue Frenzy. So if I don't win it here it will definetely be on my list for sure...

Very cool blade, I thought it was inspired by the Seax but the longship is a cool take on it too!
Very cool design I am a General Contractor and would love to carry on my person and use throughout the day on my projects. I typically carry a kershaw but would rock this blade see how good it would work.

Damn I think that design is striking.
But for EDC I'd rather have ease of deployment and a funny lock like button lock or compression lock or what else have you that's fun to mess around with.
For the super strong Cold Steel lock I want a knife to match, which should be big and made for gamer situations.
I've been carrying Cold Steel for years, my favorite is probably the Lawman in CTS-XHP, followed by the Recon ! in S35VN. I like the looks of the Karve...But Aus-10a, Really? I think it's time to step up your steel choices. BTW I'm a knife maker myself, so I appreciate the difficulty of change, but if I'm making fixed blades with Magnacut in my garage, so can you.

I bought this knife right after it came out because I thought it looked awesome, I loved the blade shape, and I wanted to try the atlas lock. I wished it was in a better steel, but after using it I really like the aus10a. Cold Steel has a great heat treat on it that holds a great edge and is tough. It has a great balance and the atlas lock is very nice. It is in my edc rotation and i bet it is tougher than my other blades that have premium steels. Keep up the good work Cold Steel!
