Awesome! Glad you found the Tier 1 challenges - we also have an ONSHAPE playlist on this channel that helps people get started, from the beginning! Good luck on your CAD journey - and remember that the App has a TRY AGAIN function - this is super useful to help repeat and practice your workflows!
Would you be willing to do any videos for onshape regarding finger joints and auto layout? I have a laser cutter and any tips and tricks building those kind of models would be very helpful. Boxes, dividers, drawers ect. I’ve got my kerf set up but if I do a boolian for slots I have more play than I would like. Thank you
Seen a few of these pop in the reddit for Fusion and for the first time clicked, which is odd since it's the easiest one I've seen! Anyway making the model is, obviously, easy, but for the life of me I cannot even find the material in fusion. There's a whole load of Aluminiums but none marked as 1060, and I can't seem to find a TTT library to import to choose from so I'm a little stumped.
Awww yeah awesome job and glad you got a chance to try these challenges! For the mass, for Fusion360 users: Here's a video from our last tournament, featuring RAMBROS, a fusion 360 user who has a script he uses to generate the correct mass: th-cam.com/video/8-tvdX4WGJ4/w-d-xo.html Here's the script he uses: github.com/rambros3d/CalculateMass-fusion360/releases/download/ttt/CalculateMass_ultimate.zip Good luck!
I am new to CAD. I started watching some of your more advanced videos and got very lost but I enjoyed the format. This is much more my level.
