I always like to see pedal commanders in action. You made a good investment. I wanted to tell you, if you get the throttle response error on your instrument panel dont trip it can be reset very easy. Drive somewhere safe to pull over turn off your engine leave the driver door ajar just enough the interior light stays on and exit vehicle with the key fob stay 15 feet away with key fob for roughly 5-8 minutes. Then you can enter and continue on your way. The check engine light will also reset in like a day. If this happens more frequently you might consider a diablo tuner once I tuned my jeep with several performance tunes the pedal commander hardly ever errors anymore. Hope you read this and ask any questions you may have about the error or diablo tuner.

You will also need to possibly download any updates with the tuner plugged into a PC via USB and download diablo's app install and run . Keep checking the various updates until they are all downloaded . Going back to vehicle each time for it to read unit, this will probably not be required unless they don't send you a pre programmed unit . You can tune your jeep forever and add additional vehicles up to 150 and the fee to add an additional vehicle is less once you have bought the unit . It's very easy to navigate within the interface it reads a little slow as you wait for tunes to be applied but not more than 4 minutes on each . You will notice a major difference with the diablo tune and increasing throttle from 1 to 2 as well as taking off speed limiter and increasing rpm to max on each gear you will find power that was locked away from manufacture dont know why they release engine with these off or set to low. And then you can race the little dodge journey as you take off like a hellcat leaving that little suv far behind has you see the spec disappear in your rear view mhm that much difference . That diablo tuner is some change but well worth it. If you want to continue with the quest for horse power install a Throttle body spacer by air aide with a turbo propulsion technique to the air flow and change your box air filter with a coned cold air intake by k&n. One step at a time mate slow and sure each mod costs some change but well worth it. End engine mods with uridium spark plugs autozone will supply you with those. I also changed my sock muffler with a cherry bomb vortex . Paint it black several coats with high heat bbq paint works great and is a flow through muffler . You can legally delete your resonator too that limits in some cases 50 HP back from you and there is no drone in my 2012 wk2 laredo. I just had to replaced both catylictic converters too with magnaflow style cats. That was a big job, dont worry about your cats I made the mistake of running e85 for 3 years straight . Don't believe the hype about flex fuel run only super . 🙏🏽😉

I did a 4 inch lift on it as well that was pricey for me and bought KX matte black rims now i run mud terrain 285 75 r17 struts springs shocks are oldman emu heavy duty load. Then I took it to a 4 wheel shop and they added a 2.5 inch spacer with rubberized hood that fits around struts as well as lower ball joint and control arm replacements specially made from PA. Good work but pricey . I will drop a link when I make a video soon this month.
This is another item I'm considering getting ASAP. I do a lot of highway driving and I'd love to experience the difference between with or without this installed.
Not yet but that's coming next. And I won't do a full exhaust setup but I will be doing and a resonator delete in place of an X-pipe with new mufflers and exhaust tips. And thanks bro I appreciate it 🙏🏾
I'm kind of curious about something. My 2021 has eco mode and Sport mode. Sport mode is pretty intense. It sets you back in your seat too. If a person puts a pedal commander on a vehicle like that, should you turn eco mode off? Sport mode on the 2021 has to be turned on which also turns off Eco. Kind of curious. Another great vid!!
Thank you man and honestly, I use the Pedal Commander for all m drive modes. I don’t even use the standard Eco or Sport mode on my Jeep I just use the provided settings of the PC.

I leave it installed at all time. You will be fine doing so as well. The only time I would ever take it off is if I had to take my Jeep in for warranty work, and the good thing about the Pedal Commander is they won't be able to detect it was ever there.
So the sport mode already on the Jeep focuses more on the rpms and holding them longer extending the shift points. Whereas with the pedal commander it’s only remapping the throttle response. I run both together and it wakes the Jeep up for sure making for a fun driving experience.

Well it all depends on which mode you drive it in and how you drive. If you have it in Eco or City and drive conservatively, then your MPG will increase. But if you have it in Sport or Sport+ and have a lead foot, then you will see your MPG fall.
No absolutely NOT. That’s where people mess up with these things and have their vehicle go into “limp mode” PC explicitly says on their website and the provided instructions to NOT change the settings on the fly.

No from my experience the sport mode on the pedal commander and sport mode on the jeep are separate. If you put the pedal commander in sport mode, that won't engage the sport mode on the Jeep. You would have to activate that separately, but honestly since having the pedal commander, I haven't had to use the Jeeps sport mode.
I've had for a little over a month now and it's still good as the first day I installed it. I drive with the same settings daily and it performs ever time. Until it malfunction or I have to get warranty work done, I see no reason to take it off 🤘🏼

Installed it my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 5.7L... awesome product but only lasted little over a year until it failed. A lttle scary when it does.. started accelerating by itself. I should have went with the Diablo tuner.
Installed mine today and definitely worth it for me. This adds to cold air intake and mid muffler delete on 3.6 Overland.

Does it heat up beyond its normal operating temp? Because if so then that’s a problem. My temps stay consistent on startup and in park.

They came with the Limited X and I just added some exit on paddles on them.

Nope had sport mode turned off and just let the PC work. And honestly to this day it still works and performs as the day installed it.
