@@AlyssaDazetLAc Ok, so I do have an actual question about this.
To figure out how your fees: take how much you want per month, divide by 4, then divide by the number of days per week you want to work, and then by the number of patients you want to see per day.
1) As I'm starting (not even yet): I don't know how many patients a day I am able to/want to have! Is it 4 a day? is it 8? is it 15?? How can I decide that (I'm thinking: room(s) available, opening hours of the clinic…) To start, do I just guess a number and start and then adjust as my calendar fills out? But that'd change the fees necessary then?
2) Let's say I want to make 6000€/month, work 4 days a week (who said lazy?), and hypothetically have 7 patients per day. Without taking into account the costs (supplies+insurance+room rental+professional body+…) , I reach a necessary income of 53.5€ per patient - so let's say 50€.
Now I look around, and I see that this other acupuncturist; he is more qualified (he's also an osteopath), has more years of experience, and has been established 2 blocks away for way longer than me, newbie just arriving. He charges 40€ per patient.
How on Earth am i gonna get clients if I charge 50€ per patient ???
I find it hard to change my mindset on this :/
