    From my experience this doesn't rlly work lol 😅😅 it depends a lot, plenty of people will just get annoyed with you, or feel forced to do the thing just coz you asked as a "favor", etc etc
    Doesn't work on everybody, only on people who kinda like already have some percentage of basic/general acceptance of you

      It's not necessarily manipulation. The key here isn't to use this to get people to like you so much as to STOP the behavior of doing favors for people in hopes that will make them like you, as it's both disingenuous, creates a weird sense of expectation/entitlement, AND doesn't work.
