This is the best hike I have ever done / Switzerland's famous Hardergrat

- I went hiking along the Hardergat. It started in Interlaken and then we went up the Harder run, before getting to the ridge. We walked along the ridge until we got to the iconic Augstmatthorn. It was over 20km for the whole day.

Woah nice man, beautiful to see it trough your eyes. I can also totally recommend going all the way to the Brienzer rothorn, such a special hike! I made a video about it as well since I totally agree with you on being it "the best hike"!

Hey mate. Love the video. I'm looking at doing a similar route to Gummhoren and back. Most worried about the descent (and re-ascent on the way back) of Augstmatthorn that you went through on the Blasenhubel side. It looks pretty scary in the video. Do you think it's genuinely dangerous for average people like myself? Or would you happily do it again? Cheers
I think you will be fine. It wasn't that bad. I am in average shape and would do it again.

i can't remember exactly, but it was 60% of the full hike I know that
@@babyliam8536 mate, that was 45% of the whole hike. and that was the easy part. at that pace you coulnd't finish the whole hike.... but it was amazing. I would not go until Augstmatthorn because it is too scary!
I did this last week but went down on the other side to Hebkorn where I took the bus to Interlaken. It's true that this is the easy part. The part leading from here to Brienz is much scarier from the reports that I saw. The forest starting from Harder Kulm was extremely muddy. Other than that it was a wonderful hike.
Question. This lake you were able to go in a swim afterwards, was it in Brienz or in Harderklum?
