    Great presentation! Kudos to the presenter. I was searching TH-cam for examples of effective presentations. In this presentation I think I found one. I wanted to watch the entire presentation even though I didn't have to. It was that engaging and informative. Well done, Dr. Dubriwny. Thank you!

    This is a fantastic talk on talks - even for the non-academic. I'm a Software Engineering Manager and giving my first major conference talk early next year. This has been very helpful both in content and in terms of illustrating a friendly and enthusiastic speaker with a good speaking style. Thank you.

    I'm impressed, I would like to be able to present like this.
    I just seem to become too nervous when I have to present something.

    Hi! I don't agree with you about handouts. I think the best think to do is to give them the full set of handouts to take notes on. I have one presentation I show, and the handout reflects key slides with space for notes.

    "Don't make your presentation too long." This video: Over 37 minutes long. 🤔

  • @novadrian

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE drop the vocal fry at the end of your sentences!!! This is unlistenable because it's so irritating. Rule number one of any presentation should be NOT to croak your voice like a "valley girl".

    • @drowninggerbil
      @drowninggerbil 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Wow, how exceptionally bigoted and ignorant of you. Your personal prejudice has nothing to do with how to give a presentation.

    • @ForestSakan
      @ForestSakan 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      how the fuck do u talk about good presentation if you can vocalize..you are damn right
