Fr tho, I was born in 2009 and disney was my thing. I loved watching Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Cinderella, and etc, but now they are really releasing flops. Like I’m sorry but why are you remaking classic disney films and making them woke, boring, and basically changing the whole plot? I watched the new Little Mermaid and it was lowkey garbage, I love Halle Bailey (the girl who played Ariel), but they completely changed the plot, the songs, and did race swaps that didn’t make any sense. I know that they are doing these race swaps for diversity but god it seems so forced and nonsensical.

Snow White was a ground breaking film. A gamble for Disney that opened a new world for animation. She calls it a cartoon. ARTISTS worked on that film. In my opinion, I felt like Snow was already a leader; she took care of the 7 dwarfs, told them to wash themselves, and helped them around the house, basically like a mom. She was in charge, so basically she was the leader all along. Let's not forget how she's 14 and ran away alone in the woods at night because her stepmother wanted to kill her. It takes a lot guts to do that.

A better remake is to set it according to the setting of the fairytale, making them the same age, having the kiss be with consent and after she wakes up due to magic. Some people might argue that Disney makes millions off of these Woke versions but they don't know what's behind to actually sell a good, successful moneymaking movie. The Marketing, Production and Distribution eats about 50-70% of the Box office income when it's all said and done. Disney may have made some decent money yet it's not at the same level as the best movies that made them billions 10-20 years ago😂

I mean i love the idea of independent princesses like mulan, Merida and elsa but i also like the classic version of snow white where she finds her true love and dreams of living happily and marrying a prince and i Don't think she is weak just because she wants to live her dream life and wants to marry a prince. It no longer feel like snow white. Why not make a new movie instead of ruining the original one

Sounds like they're trying to make a sequel to the original. Snow White (Gadot) marries the handsome prince. They have a daughter who goes woke and becomes an imbittered modern-day feminist after viewing her mother's and father's idyllic relationship and becoming bored with her privileged lifestyle growing up in the lap of luxury as a princess.

Snow White was the first Disney princess ever. She started the beautiful fairytale movie animation and brought us so many dreams as children. WHY is it so bad to be a princess looking for true love or WHY is it bad to want to be rescued every once in a while. As an adult I have to save myself enough it would be nice for a Prince to step in and save the day sometimes. Can’t you be an empowered princess and want a prince?
