    Whichever you choose be sure to condition the hand accordingly on your makiwara.

    I agree. I like to say that I as well as fighters like fedor both go palm in because it supports the wrists a bit more. Just my input :)

    Thumb up feels more natural. Thumb in, puts a twist in my forearm which feels strained.

    the old bare knuckle fighters turned their hand over,like looking at your wrist watch, to insure the knuckles were landing and not the fingers.
