Hey while Discord vs Bill will always be a great episode, mostly for its animation and the stellar writing with a genuinely good plot twist, this fight is just pure moro animation goodness.
One noticible Thing was Eggman's reaction when his Death Egg got turned into a giant ? Block. Since he told Sage to take control of the Death Egg, he really thought his daughter just died.
Damn near had an asthma attack nearly during the fight. Wish I could have shared my reaction with others but I'm happy everyone's enjoying it for once.
I know that before watching this episode my mind repeatedly kept going “they couldn’t possibly make a better episode than Bill vs Discord right?” And holy crap did they manage. This episode is everything I wanted to a fight like this. Simply a perfect episode, only like 1 or 2 nitpicks that honestly don’t even bring it down in the slightest. Easily 11/10 episode.
I like that the Blue Shell Koopa General from the movie was included in the animation, he didn't do anything besides existing and getting crushed by Infinit's powers. Hopefully we get to see him again in future games, I bet he'll be a real powerhouse if giving a chance.
The deciding victor has struck a bit of controversy (like every battle involving Mario or Sonic characters) But in this specific case, it’s like super understandable. The battle is grounded initially but when it starts getting into Chaos Emeralds, Grand Stars, Time Eater, Dreamy Bowser, things that can warp the fabric of reality (or destroy it) you kinda just run into a wall. At this point you can kinda make any argument and it’ll end up making at least a tiny bit sense for these two.
Yknow its a PEAK review when it starts with a SnapDub reference! Seriously man, your enthusiasm can be felt through the screen, much like the PEAKNESS of this episode as a whole 🙂↕️🔥

WELCOME TO HELL!! HAHAHAHAAAAAA!! WE CAN REST EASY. Once again I'll type out all of my thoughts in this one commet. And WHOLE BOY I HAVE ALOT TO SAY. Bowser's analysis was amazing. I love how goes from taking to how Bowser became the King he is now, and how the Mushroom Kingdom treated the Koopa Troop as outcasters. Which lead to how Bowser's Army felt more like a family. I also love how it segway into the Koopalings and Bowser Jr as students of Bowser's dark magic. Alongside with mentioning King Boo and Kamek to show the difference between their magic. And the versus stuff were cool to listen to. It was some great stuff that not only dived into the unqiue facts about Bowser's powers and abilities, but also went deep into his character and making him feel unique. Eggman's analysis was also amazing. Going from the perspective of the Doctor's vision of a better world of natural order and what his origins were and how being shund led him to become a conqueror. It also goes in the difference between both Bowser and Eggman. With Bowser being raised to the King of his army. Eggman was raised without anyone noticing and growing up to become his own king with his own army. And the versus stuff was just as good as Bowser's. And the ending showing how Eggman's future could be brighter now he has Sage giving him passion. It's really good stuff. Now before I talk about the fight, I should mention the elephant in the room. Considering how both characters have thousands of weapons, armies, ships, bases, and trump cards, it would be clear that the fight couldn't include all of them. There are so many ways that this fight of ended up. Such as the story boards which had some different and unqiure moments to the fight, and the multiple views having their own depiction of the fight. But I think what we got in the episode was the best outcome. Moro and DJTiki created one of the best fights ever. ALRIGHT NOW I CAN TALK ABOUT THE FIGHT. I love the setup. Not only does it reference both the Movies with Bowser in the Wedding scene and the reveal the wedding was a fake, but it also works for both characters. Bowser bring everyone from the Koopa Troop makes sense and Eggman preparing to take over Bowser's Castle with most of his badniks along with the Egg Dragoon and Death Egg Robot in action. With the war starting Bowser taking on some of badniks and using his shell spin to draw in closer to the Egg Dragoon and use his Earthquake to destroy the remains of the Egg Dragoon. I also love how he thought the Eggman dummie was the real Eggman and I can buy him thinking that. Following that up is Infinite increasing Gravity to crush Bowser's elites, while Bowser saving some of them with his magic. Which leads to the funniest moment of the fight. King Boo being unaffected by gravity, summons a Thwomp to crush Infinite which is both genius and hilarious consider how a Thwomp with increased gravity would lead to death, but its also funny considering that Infinite just came and died in the fight in mere seconds. *(Still better than Sonic Forces tho.)* And now the Phantom Ruby is out, everyone goes in to get it. From the Chargin' Chuck, to Orbot and Cubot, to even the Elite Trio which I'm suprised they got in the fight. But that changes when Metal Sonic catches the ruby and Bowser using thunder to neutralize Metal all the while throwing in Broggy in which also leads to Kamek coming into the fight. Metal Sonic pretty much dodging and counter attack everything to secure the Ruby including using the Chain Chomp against Broggy, and taking off the crown from King Boo. But before he could even power up with the ruby, METAL SONIC GETS SCREWED BY CHANCE TIME. BOWSER EVEN HAS HIS OWN CHANCE TIME SO HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. Following that up, Metal Sonic gets a glorius transformation to Neo Metal Sonic which even his debut in the IDW Comics, and completely KNOCKS BOWSER COLD. Eggman with the Death Egg Robot and Sage join the fight after Bowser seemingly is defeat, but Bowser Jr use his Paintbrush to create the same black portal from Bowser's fury, and jumps in, WHICH BRING FURY BOWSER INTO THE FIGHT. Even landing a devistating attack on Neo Metal Sonic after he saved Eggman and Sage! We also get an amazing shot of Fury Bowser and the Death Egg Robot ready to clash, which Bowser lands a blow revealing Eggman inside of it. Then we get Fury Bowser using his spikes to rain on the Death Egg Robot, only for Sage to use her force field to protect it, only for Fury Bowser to dive into the force field and DESTROYING it, ONLY FOR SUPER NEO METAL SONIC TO CARRY FURY BOWSER AND BLITZING HIM. Then we get Sage using the remaining Badnik forces to launch at Fury Bowser, but then Kamek to teleport and shield Fury Bowser with extended pipes! Once again showing the leadership and teams that both sides have. Following that up is Super Neo Metal LAUNCH Kamek to the other side of the planet, which leaves Bowser Jr as Shadow Mario to desperately save Fury Bowser, only for Super Neo spin dash through Bowser Jr's attack, and sending him to the ground. We then witness to one of the most standout moments in the fight. Fury Bowser looking back his injured child, swats Super Neo like a bug, and uses the Grand Star to power himself up into White Hair verison, AND BLASTING SUPER NEO METAL SONIC AND DECIMATING HIM AND THE EGG FLEET. Creating a Black Hole which breaks the Death Egg Robot. Eggman out of options, calls Sage use the Chaos Emeralds to use the Death Egg Laser Canon. Which leads to my personal favorite moment of the fight. The shot of Fury Bowser seeing the Death Egg charging up, Firing the HUGE LASER CANON ON THE BATTLEFIELD. With the Koopa Troop and Badniks witness with their own eyes, Eggman fleeing from the battlefield, only for Fury Bowser to cover his minions to SAVE THEM AND TANK THE LASER CANON ONLY TO LOSE HIS SKIN AND HIS FURY TRANSFORMATION!! The fight seems over, until Eggman's mobile is turned into stone. The remain Koopa Troop and Dry Bowser stand infront of Eggman. With Eggman command Sage to fire the Death Egg, only for it reveal that the Death Egg has been turned into a Question Block. Eggman petrified of thinking his daughter is dead, now desperately tries to escape from Dry Bowser. But his Jetpack and laser gun lost. DRY BOWSER PUNCHES EGGMAN TO THE GIANT QUESTION BLOCK, RAINING MILLIONS OF COINS. ENDING THE FIGHT. With the conclusion talking about how Bowser was able to outrank all of Eggman's abilities and even showing alternate scenarios to what else could of happened. Even mention the difference between Eggman being a Boss, and Bowser being a Leader. Reflecting how his Army's loyalty was able to give him the edge to victory. HOLY LORD WHAT AN EPISODE. This goes without saying my favorite episode so far from this year and I doubt that'll change. This episode not only exceeded all of my expectations, BUT ALSO DETHRONED SPONGEBOB VS AQUAMAN FOR MY 2ND FAVORITE OF THE SHOW!!! I'm not sure if it beat Saitama VS Popeye, but considering that it is in the running says alot about this episode. What an amazing piece of creation.
One thing I love about this fight that I didn’t see you mention was how bowser and eggman’s armies interact within themselves. Eggman and sage are the only 2 with battle synergy, and most of the muscle comes from an unsupported metal sonic. Both neo metal sonic and infinite were basically just sent out with no support, highlighting that eggman’s one man show really hurts him as he has no synergy. Bowser on the other hand, has 3 really good supporters in kamek, King Boo and Bowser Jr. that are confined to the supporter role. Both times when BJ and Kamek took initiative they got annihilated, but still played really major roles by taking out the death egg and phantom ruby. They left the heavy hitting to Bowser, the only real powerhouse besides king boo’s painting gimmicks. In the animation Eggman lost because his team was slowly whittled down. Each powerhouse on his side were taken down precisely because they didn’t have support. King Boo saved bowser. Kamek saved bowser. Bowser Jr. saved bowser. Obviously the animation is just one possibility, but I believe that what the fight showed was how Eggman’s power overwhelms bowser if unsupported. Unfortunately for Eggman, Bowser leads one of the most united and loyal armies in fiction.
@luiginumbers6268 that actually fits to the contrast I was addressing with my review. Not only does Bowser act like a leader and Eggman acts like a boss, but the Koopa Troop act like a team when they have each other's backs. While the Eggman Empire act more like Pawns don't act like a team. It's why Neo Metal Sonic and Infinite went in without back up or support. They were confident in taking on the fight alone. Even Sage throws remaining badniks to launch at Fury Bowser, while Kamek and Bowser Jr do their best to protect Fury Bowser.
Eggman was underpowered like heck and Infinite (while funny in many ways) would of cleared every normal enemy instantly but that doesn't change the actual video being awesome
I have a question. How can a battle with kid friendly characters like Bill Cipher, Discord, Scooby, Courage, Bowser, and Eggman have a HARDCORE fight and a HARDCORE vocal track?
I actually think the start of the fight is a reference to the opening of Super Paper Mario. Where Bowser and Peach have a shame wedding. With it being manipulated by a 3rd party. Also Peach is a cardboard cutout and looks like her Paper Mario self.

How do you even put Henry in a death battle. Like he technically survived (albeit extremely briefly) getting divided by 0. He has the corruptick which crashes the game, but that takes him out with it too. He’s too confusing to put in, and he has too much bullshit. I don’t even want to talk about the implications of his stand.
You right. The Time eater could have appears and attack sonic but just appears and disappears. Also I think no one notice the tie fighter and that one Koopa that was praying before the beam was charging up
the most disapointing part is King Bob-omb, who actually did nothing. King Boo actually was one of characters who did work, next to Elite Trio, and Bowser Junior. Heck, Bowser didn't even have some of his other minions, like Koopalings, Goomba King, Whomp King, (the Galaxy foes he has as allies,) Etc... Eggman did have the Zeti... but overall, I think Bowser has more minions on his side, and with more diversity. Plus, Bowser at the very least had teamwork on his side. Honestly, I don't even think Eggman stood a chance. Even in a solo fight... Eggman would probably play dirty...

Which leads to my personal favorite moment of the fight. The shot of Fury Bowser seeing the Death Egg charging up, Firing the HUGE LASER CANON ON THE BATTLEFIELD. With the Koopa Troop and Badniks witness with their own eyes, Eggman fleeing from the battlefield, only for Fury Bowser to cover his minions to SAVE THEM AND TANK THE LASER CANON ONLY TO LOSE HIS SKIN AND HIS FURY TRANSFORMATION!!
The fight seems over, until Eggman's mobile is turned into stone. The remain Koopa Troop and Dry Bowser stand infront of Eggman. With Eggman command Sage to fire the Death Egg, only for it reveal that the Death Egg has been turned into a Question Block. Eggman petrified of thinking his daughter is dead, now desperately tries to escape from Dry Bowser. But his Jetpack and laser gun lost. DRY BOWSER PUNCHES EGGMAN TO THE GIANT QUESTION BLOCK, RAINING MILLIONS OF COINS. ENDING THE FIGHT.
With the conclusion talking about how Bowser was able to outrank all of Eggman's abilities and even showing alternate scenarios to what else could of happened. Even mention the difference between Eggman being a Boss, and Bowser being a Leader. Reflecting how his Army's loyalty was able to give him the edge to victory.
HOLY LORD WHAT AN EPISODE. This goes without saying my favorite episode so far from this year and I doubt that'll change. This episode not only exceeded all of my expectations, BUT ALSO DETHRONED SPONGEBOB VS AQUAMAN FOR MY 2ND FAVORITE OF THE SHOW!!! I'm not sure if it beat Saitama VS Popeye, but considering that it is in the running says alot about this episode. What an amazing piece of creation.
One thing I love about this fight that I didn’t see you mention was how bowser and eggman’s armies interact within themselves. Eggman and sage are the only 2 with battle synergy, and most of the muscle comes from an unsupported metal sonic. Both neo metal sonic and infinite were basically just sent out with no support, highlighting that eggman’s one man show really hurts him as he has no synergy. Bowser on the other hand, has 3 really good supporters in kamek, King Boo and Bowser Jr. that are confined to the supporter role. Both times when BJ and Kamek took initiative they got annihilated, but still played really major roles by taking out the death egg and phantom ruby. They left the heavy hitting to Bowser, the only real powerhouse besides king boo’s painting gimmicks. In the animation Eggman lost because his team was slowly whittled down. Each powerhouse on his side were taken down precisely because they didn’t have support. King Boo saved bowser. Kamek saved bowser. Bowser Jr. saved bowser. Obviously the animation is just one possibility, but I believe that what the fight showed was how Eggman’s power overwhelms bowser if unsupported. Unfortunately for Eggman, Bowser leads one of the most united and loyal armies in fiction.

Not only does Bowser act like a leader and Eggman acts like a boss, but the Koopa Troop act like a team when they have each other's backs. While the Eggman Empire act more like Pawns don't act like a team.
It's why Neo Metal Sonic and Infinite went in without back up or support. They were confident in taking on the fight alone. Even Sage throws remaining badniks to launch at Fury Bowser, while Kamek and Bowser Jr do their best to protect Fury Bowser.
Eggman was underpowered like heck and Infinite (while funny in many ways) would of cleared every normal enemy instantly but that doesn't change the actual video being awesome

I have a question. How can a battle with kid friendly characters like Bill Cipher, Discord, Scooby, Courage, Bowser, and Eggman have a HARDCORE fight and a HARDCORE vocal track?

I actually think the start of the fight is a reference to the opening of Super Paper Mario. Where Bowser and Peach have a shame wedding. With it being manipulated by a 3rd party. Also Peach is a cardboard cutout and looks like her Paper Mario self.
The only thing missing are the Koopalings and the captains from bowsers minions

How do you even put Henry in a death battle. Like he technically survived (albeit extremely briefly) getting divided by 0. He has the corruptick which crashes the game, but that takes him out with it too. He’s too confusing to put in, and he has too much bullshit. I don’t even want to talk about the implications of his stand.

You right. The Time eater could have appears and attack sonic but just appears and disappears.
Also I think no one notice the tie fighter and that one Koopa that was praying before the beam was charging up
the most disapointing part is King Bob-omb, who actually did nothing. King Boo actually was one of characters who did work, next to Elite Trio, and Bowser Junior.
Heck, Bowser didn't even have some of his other minions, like Koopalings, Goomba King, Whomp King, (the Galaxy foes he has as allies,) Etc...
Eggman did have the Zeti... but overall, I think Bowser has more minions on his side, and with more diversity.
Plus, Bowser at the very least had teamwork on his side. Honestly, I don't even think Eggman stood a chance. Even in a solo fight... Eggman would probably play dirty...

I already knew what eggman would lose in this fight and i still was bummed by it. I love eggman but i do think what fight was fair and i really liked it. Just a little sad.
Bill cipher vs discord is my favorite death battle but after bowser vs eggman its a tie (and for anyone who think time eater should have been in it remember that took 2 eggmans)

I may disagree with the victor, but this was such an amazing episode and both Bowser and Eggman are absolute chads!
I thought the Elite Trio was from Dream Team, no? Also this might just me, but the sound design felt kiiiinda weak, but I'm not complaining, given this episode is a whole damn year long feast with only 5 star Michelin Star chefs.
