Awesome, truly telling a story of Amsterdam waking up. Such a great edit. Thanks for sharing. Also inspirational for me as I found a new hobby going into my 5th month
Outstanding demonstration of what a little and pocketable tool is capable of, now need to definitely add Amsterdam to my go to places list for sure, cheers from the sunny Italy!
I got "Man with a Movie Camera" (Dziga Vertov) feels from this video. I love every shot in your video. So well framed. The music is epic as well. Well done. Just out of curiosity. Did you do all the takes in one day, or did you do them over multiple days?
thanks! I'm not too keen on early mornings lol, so I only went out for one sunrise. only extra is i went out 2 more 8am mornings to try to get a timelapse of that intersection... still didn't use the new shots, only the first day's shots
Wow! Insane work.... really quite the best shots from this little camera i´ve seen! Did you use a blackmist or any ND filter on the Pocket 3? (for example the 1:40 halation effects)
Dude, I want to thank you for the Luts. Unfortunately I live in Argentina and it is difficult for me to pay you anything for the file, but I do want to be honest and thank you for your color file. Your work and the quality of your images are incredible.
I wanted to take a moment to express how much I enjoyed your recent video. It truly inspired me, and as a result, I created my own video based on your ideas. With your permission, I would love to share the link to my video. Please let me know if that would be okay with you.
Hi Keegan, I very much enjoyed watching your video!! Really, really great job! A rush if questions come to mind. You did another video which is 7 Things About PO3, having a PO3 I agree either with those things you mentioned. I might add I would not mind seeing: • Tilt monitor scene - giving more control when shooting. • Zoom in & out could be more - not a deal breaker though. When I watched this video a few questions came to mind. This is one of those time, “man wish we could talk in real time!” 🟢 Did pre plan your shooting location? 🟠 How long did it actually take you to complete the footage? Time wise I mean. 🔵 Which mono or tripod do you use? ⚪️ Da Vinci Resolve - is that your go to video editing software? Keegan, thanks again! Keep up the great 👍🏾 ⭐️ work & looking forward to hearing back you. ☮️ ✌️ G
Thanks for the comment! I didn’t preplan but I knew the area a little bit. I marked a few spots I wanted to check but mostly just wandered around to find things. It took about 4-5 hours of walking around to shoot. I also used the peak design aluminum travel tripod And DaVinci resolve is my go to for stuff like this.
Great job, the shots look very sharp. What sharpness and noise reduction settings do you use when recording? It is possible to change them on the OP3 itself, but I never know which one is best. And do you use any ND filters? Thanks
Thank you 🙏 on the OP3 i turn sharpness to -2 and noise reduction to -2. i didn't add any sharpness in post. And for ND filters i use the K&F VNDs, I threw the amazon link in my pinned comment
what GIMBAL and FOCUS settings do you .. for instance at 1:14 what was your focus mode and did you tap on the p3 screen to keep a certain thing in focus or was it camera decided ? i cannot figure out if you focused for the buildings or the SIGN BOARD.... everything is so in focus. Bravooo
mostly using continuous! when you're far enough from the subjects like at 1:14, then everything is in focus. if you have something close up then you need to tap on where you'd like the focus to be. in this case the sign and the buildings were both in focus range
this ratio is 2.35:1 I believe. the osmo pocket 3 allows you to add little white guidelines to frame things within the wider frame. In the EOS R there are no guidelines for that, but if you keep in mind to not put anything important in the highest and lowest parts of the frame, you should be ok. some people like to put black tape on their screen

Nice, what is the music ?
at 3:35 wow what a iconic shot !! bravo from France !
I love the peace there.
Beautifully shot and edited! I loved the transition with the music to the start of the morning's activity - well done!
Love the musical transition between the more passive landscape shots into the bicycle action. Beautiful sequences, just lovely.
This is some incredible work. Just some great storytelling. Bravo.
WOW, what a magical way to watch a city wake up! Beautifully done ... and that car at 4:24 LOL!
This video gave me goosebumps! Spectacular! 🤍
Can watch this over and over again,.... and I live near Amsterdam. Well done!
Great work! Absolutely inspiring!
Magical story telling. Hats off to you. Bravo.

Great Job creating this Cinematic video. I need more practice with my OP3 to hopefully get to your level. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video.
Wow! The colours look amazing. I just bought the Osmo pocket 3 and was deciding on which ND filters to get.
Incredible! Could you tell me which type you used in the texts in the video? Thank you very much, congratulations.
Love that shot at 03:31 (love the whole video).
Oh i love this style ❤❤

Amazing video, just got mine today and im going to aim for getting something nearly as good as this out of that camera.
Loved it. Just subscribed. Looking forward to watching your other videos.

Amsterdam is so fucking yeah. Great work, the footage is awesome. Parabéns.
thanks :D yeah it's an insane cityt
Beautiful video. Would like to check if you’re using the freewell vnd or vndxmist
Just awesome
Wow! Insane work.... really quite the best shots from this little camera i´ve seen! Did you use a blackmist or any ND filter on the Pocket 3? (for example the 1:40 halation effects)
thank you :) I used a normal VND (the K&F ones) and in the grade it's halation added
Well done! ❤
Amazing video🔥🔥🔥
You are a natural.
Amazing. Looks a bit more on sharper side. But love the mood!
Wow 💗
At 0:44 how did you make the lights in the lamps and in general come out so beautifully? With a nd filter or just with editing?
that's in the grade - used Halation effect in Resolve

Want a tip? Watch the video in 4k. TH-cam deteriorates the quality of recorded videos in 4k when viewed in 1080p.
Bro.. im watching in 240p , yet this is truly amazing 😮😮😮
@@OZMO4 and you haven't tried this yet 144, this is mind blowing
Such a good video. Inspirational. Just bought this camera and excited to film Berlin! Did you use anything to assist stabilisation?
just a steady walk, that's all! youll love it
How are you doing the shot at 0:13? Just walking and holding it? Looks amazing!
yep just doing the ninja walk and holding the camera :)
Can you please share what software do you use for colour grading ?
davinci resolve
The colors look incredible. Do you have a powergrade or LUT you’re using for a base look?
it's a powergrade with a very nice-looking node tree ;)
@@KeeganRobin we’re gonna need you to do a video on how you edit these 😄!
Just uploaded my Power Grade and LUTs based on this grade:

Great job! I am convinced of buying one! Did you add this red glow on the highlights on post or.. ?
nice! did you get one?
I added the halation effect in my resolve color grade for the red glow
@@KeeganRobin yes I did. Gonna post some POV walkaround in Shanghai soon

Amazing 👏🏽What is the aspect ratio in this video?
This is 2.35:1. The pocket 3 has a setting that turns on the aspect ratio guide so you can frame up for it.
Nice music did it

instead of colorgrading, what frame you use to make it cinamatic? I have canon eos r but need some advice, cheers!

In the EOS R there are no guidelines for that, but if you keep in mind to not put anything important in the highest and lowest parts of the frame, you should be ok. some people like to put black tape on their screen
Could you please tell me how to add these lines to osmo pocket 3 @KeeganRobin
Nice video! Did you increase sharpen and contrast when edit?
nope! in the OP3 i turned down sharpness and noise reduction. in the edit i didn't add any sharpness whatsoever.
how are you geting this aspect ratio in you tube without the black bars?
you just have to make your timeline resolution to 3840 × 1660 and make sure to export in that resolution too
From VietNam with 🎉 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
I like it video )))
Are those red lines on the highlights chromatic aberration?
It’s halation added in resolve
How do you edit? colour grading and what software you use?
i used Davinci Resolve for the edit and grade :)
Nice, How did you made the video frame so wide?
i shot with 2.32:1 guidelines in the osmo pocket 3 and then edited in a timeline with a 2.35:1 ratio
@@KeeganRobin Oo very nicely done. The wider footage the better for cinematic feel. I got mine the first came out but never use it.
Can i find your luts for pocket 3 ?
Just uploaded them: links.keeganrobin.com/shop/d7a65950-8fb5-4342-b4a9-983e5c03b845 cheers!
good
What settings and lens did you use?
Yeah, I wanted to know the same
It's a dji osmo pocket 3. That's a fixed lens gimbal camera.
Was this footage stabilised by extra footage?
nope this is Osmo Pocket 3 stabz!!
Inspired by your video, I created a similar one. Can I share the link?
Could you please tell what settings you shot this with? 4K 30fps and D-Log?
4K 24fps 1/50 shutter and d log.
Noice
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
A tutorial for colour grading.
These are very dark scenes. Wrong.
???
How can you give it a 21:9 aspect ratio?
you can set the timeline resolution in any editing software to 3840 × 1660
