    Finally someone who explains tyre pressures properly on ACC so that I can understand what to do, and how to adjust it. Thank you, this is going to help me a lot!

      @@Doughtinator it works an absolute charm, I was gaining upto 6-7 tenths up on some sections of Kyalami meanwhile on other tracks, upto a second off my lap times with proper equal temps across all 4 whilst I figured out my camber levels

    Thank you for this detailed explanation it was most helpful and I will be following your approach.
    I did notice in your setup menu you had brake pads 2. Reading Coach Dave's Academy notes it talks about the 4 pad options for GT3 cars. Pad 1 being the most used as they are designed for short races under 3 hours. Might be worth mentioning as it will impact braking efficiency and performance.

    Great video, Nice and simple to understand. Question how to you control the temperature between outside and inside, looking at OMI there is often quite a difference.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man. I do plan to cover that in a future video as I need to do more testing.
      But you can reduce the negative camber to get more heat for middle and outside. This could also help with tire wear too. But I do wonder if there is a negative to this as most of the setups don’t seem to aim to balance tire temps 🤷🏻‍♂️
      I’ll test done more and make a video when I work it out 👍🏻

    Agreed this is tbh all you really need to compete. I know mamy who use safe setups and just adjust tire pressure and use engine map1. Including myself and i can compete at the highest level. Tbh training this way makes you faster then others because then when you do use a crazy setup you realize you are faster then others. I would rather rely on my skill and push it.
    I will say i prefer pushing and being on the edge of grip at all times and ive found im able to be very fast this way. I dont manage my tires the best but they seem to last for me. Maybe its because i understand weight traanfer and i keep my car pretty level throughout.

    I wa5ched a different video and it showed how the middle tyre zone shows if the tyre is over or under inflated, you pressures end up being correct but the middle zone shows to be under inflated. Could the6 need to be 27 psi or is slightly under inflated better? Great explanation though 👌

    Great content as always, I'm trying ACC in the last days, it's a different style of driving and racing. Do you guys have the specific settings for the G923 Logitech? I've tried the one in the previous video but I feel the wheel a bit "light", so I setted something around 120% gain and 50% road effect...I use a strong FFB in GT7 at 10, I like a strong wheel, thanks :)

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man. You can also raise dynamic dampening too. That should help to add some more weight to the wheel too 👍🏻
      I think I may have nudged up dynamic dampening since the settings in that video too.

    Chris, did ACC change the recommended tyre pressure settings AFTER this video was made? I'm going to get back into ACC, and seem to recall there was something where Kunos dropped the recommended temperatures.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the change was made before this video. Update 1.9 lowered the optimal pressure and I think made the window of operation wider.
      Unless it changed again though 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve not been back on for a little bit.

  • @mattikake9859
    @mattikake9859 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm seeing a lot of streamers say the exact optimal tyre pressure is 27.2 in patch 1.9?

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it used to be this. But I recall it being lower in 1.9.

    • @Doughtinator
      @Doughtinator  ปีที่แล้ว

      When you get the tires up to temperature and you get used to the ‘feel’ you will start to feel the grip.
      Make sure you’re using ABS and Traction Control. It’s essential in ACC 👍🏻
