Dave Gilmore absolutely blows my mind with his guitar work, not just with this song either, the man is a genius who knows exactly how to soothe my soul when I’m really struggling. I’ve suffered from Scizophrenia, Borderline personality disorder, anxiety and depression and been addicted to just about every single pharmaceutical drug and most illicit drugs. I’ve most definitely been through my own times in hell but it’s masterpieces like this that have saved me time and time again! Thanks again to all you Legends of rock!!! Rock’n’Roll will never die!!!

When this came out , I was 16, we had no idea after the dark side of the moon album , well how could they top that fantastic collection of songs. This was as close as anything they had done to perfection. The formula was different , but the same type of songs that grab your mind and heart and never let go. This tune(Shine on you crazy diamond) is absolutely the most powerful and haunting tune they ever did. A tribute to Syd Barrett. Thank you boys , I am now 64, and still listen often. What a classic

I talk to him a while about whats been going on in my life and then just lie back and reminisce. Its spring and i can hear the grasscutters way off in the distance and its honestly beautiful.
My friend died at 34 due to an alchohol/opiate/benzo accidental overdose. I wish i was there to recognise the severity of his situation. Unfortunately he fell asleep and never woke up.😢. I know we will meet again my friend. So shine on you crazy diamomd. Terry Bulmer died 13th September 2017. I will always miss you my friend. R.I.P.

Hi 👋, I am new to your music room, what great music 🎶, Thank you for your music 🎼, This might sound very strange but I listen 👂 to this every time I have a bath 🛀🏻 😂, I am a very clean person, 😂, I had to leave my ex female partner in 2019 , we had been together for nearly 18 years, as time went on, I won’t allowed to listen to my music, I ended up having to store my loudspeaker cabinets and my hi-fi in my workshop, which is not very good idea , I brought my hi-fi system many years ago, back in the early 70s, and even built my own loudspeaker cabinets , 150w transmission line, NAD Amp , the only time I could listen to it was when I was in my workshop,
I was being accused of being mentally ill , and I’ve got the recording to prove it that she doesn’t know, so in 2019 from that day forward, I can finally listen to my music again, I am now 70 odd years young, retired, and living in France in the countryside,
And I can play, whatever music I like, whenever I like day or night, come rain or shine ,
I’ve been listening to your music last hour, or so, you have got a great selection of music, very appealing , thank you for your time and effort to put on this compilation together, and beautiful visual effects, Stay Safe, look forward to listening to some more, is it bath time yet?,

I was dating my wife, we were young. We were listening to the album Wish You Were Here, he didn't understand our other people's condition in the 90s, I think if he evolved like us, he understands what we were living and listening to. But my father-in-law is a good person, I love him always, but he didn't follow our condition. Today we are here, married, with two daughters that we raised with the freedom we didn't have and we are immensely happy. Even though Syd Barrett was not in the band they continued and resulted in the perfection they always were. So we also continue with love and seeking perfection.

I missed getting my hands on Pink Floyd’s barge that they recorded dark side of the moon, in the middle of the river themes, was a tax fiddle lol, university drop outs made it big, thank god they did hay, was some years back now, no mixers or equipment on board, god knows where it went, hope it didn’t get scrapped, was at red hill marina Nottinghamshire
