- This week we played Gears 5 together and I got to beep and boop! Jack is a perfect character to play if you want to support your loved one in their gaming hobby. This game even has multiple difficulties for each player. That's good because I'm stupid. #gears5 #gearsofwar

The dream: a longplay of Mass Effect 1 through 3. I don't even have twitch and I'd get on board for that.
The robot coop the way you describe it looks actually kinda genius.
It honestly is. My girlfriend is a gamer but has never taken the plunge into gears due to the combat and pacing being much faster and more violent than she likes (she loves Pokemon and Animal Crossing).
However, she not only loved being Jack but SHE was the one pushing me to stay up till the wee hours of the morning so she could beep and boop her way to the end of the campaign with me.
Now we play Horde together and she plays as Jack and I play a normal character and she loves it. This is the first time a game has ever given us something we both adore.
and when she mentioned "little brother" it made me think of my nephew and i'm like oh wow, that is genius. the idea of them aging the characters was like well, a lot of our fans have gotten older and the character grows with them so life and junk and now a lot of those people probably have kids and my nephew loves watching me game, especially nes games on the mini but he doesn't like that he's not as good but this co-op idea is really good. kinda reminds me of Jet Force Gemini and i'd usually co-op as the robot Floyd i think his name was although that was just like pistol shots and i felt useless but still these kinds of co-ops have a soft spot with me
No it's lame! Having an OP backseat character just because someone isn't and refuse to play the game as how it actually is? This kind of mentality is why most AAA game nowaday is boring ass with mechanics that my dog could learn and play simply by shaking the controller around with his mouth.
@@aoyaibaba3090 op easy characters in a casual game are bad now? What's wrong with you? You want skill and challenge involved, don't play casual games.
@@aoyaibaba3090 Not everything has to be a hardcore mode challenge. Gears gives you the OPTION to play on an easier difficulty making it more accessible to more gamers. That's a good thing because it helps bring new gamers into the series who may go on to play at a harder level.
For example, now that my girlfriend and I are done with the campaign I started up another, this time on the hardest difficulty with a friend. We both play normal characters and it's genuinely hard. When we all play horde it's still hard for everyone and Jack isn't as OP as you seem to think that he is. His ability is overstated in campaign mode. In Horde, he has almost no offense unless in the right skilled hands.
Easy mode isn't a bad thing and the game has plenty to offer the "hardcore" gamer. This game just includes more options for both the novice and master to play with and that's a good thing.
